I have replaced my Turbo finally and I wanted to see if it is ok to do a factory data reset on it before I sell it.
It's Lollipop unlocked and rooted. Should I sell it this way, or un-root it?
If I leave it rooted how can I be sure I delete my accounts and be safe to sell?
No one?
Or can I just do a factory reset and sell it.

What about the lag fix should i remove that
Wouldn't hurt to do so, just to make sure no problems do happen.
Instead of not disabling it and then having a problem...
If I accidentally uninstalled twlauncher will a reset reinstall the twlauncher
Dont think it will. Sound like you need to flash to stock (saw your post in the other thread). There are dozens of threads about doing that.
All you need is a little research.
Your system apps stay the same, so if you are on a custom Rom that is pre-rooted it will stay rooted. I have done many factory resets. It clears all your data and installed apps. If you uninstall a system app it will not reappear with a factory reset. You will need to find the apk and put it back in your system.
more of a factory wipe than a reset
So i have a rooted nook hd+ but i need to return it because of the charger was smoking on me so they are going to send me a new one and ill send this one back. Will it be ok if i flash a stock rom and return it or would i need to do a factory reset to cover my bases fully? and would i just go into my setting and click restore or do i do the 8 loop thing? They say if its my fault, they will charge me for a new nook. If i perform a factory reset, will it go back to factory setting because when i rooted it, i deleted the stock? or i can just use a prepaid card haha. help?

Go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread and look at item 6. Flash one of the plain stock zips and do a factory reset/wipe data with CWM. You should be back to 100% stock. Your media files will still be there though. If you want those gone too, go to mounts and storage and format 'data and datamedia'.

Hey guys,
I'm selling my rooted HTC One, and I want to make sure all my apps and data are deleted off of it.
The guy I'm selling it to doesn't want it booted, so I don't want to return it to stock.
Is there a simple way for me to securely delete all my data? If I do "reset to factory settings" I understand it will brick it.
Thanks!
Daniel

Deleting a personal data using the factory reset will not brick anything - it only wipes a partitions what is ok.
Returning back to stock (not rooted, locked etc.) is a different story and there are few guides how to do that without bricking..
I sold one of my Nexus 6 devices and had a wipe question considering the new owner wants it rooted and unlocked already
I was on chroma 5/12, restored a stock nandroid. Now I want to wipe the device completely for the new owner.
Do I use twrp or stock factory data reset?
Thanks<

I need to reset my Tab S2 to return it. It may not go so well, since it has Knox tripped due to rooting it, but I'm still going to try.
I've got 5.0.2 on it, rooted. As well as TWRP 2.6.8. I didn't see a way to do this, so wanted to check: can I get the stock recovery back on the unit, as well as unroot? Or will be stuck as-is, with the most I can do being a factory reset?
Just flash the stock firmware to put everything back to stock then factory reset.
Knox remains showing "void", yes?
What about stock recovery?
