Cryptocurrency wallet specification needed - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

Hi, is there any info on S10 crypto currency wallet, is it hardware wallet? Is it Samsung own software on top of it? Is it anything to do with Enjin ?
Any info would help.
Im trying to debunk https://cointelegraph.com/news/unco...-rumored-samsung-galaxy-s10-blockchain-wallet
Ppl speculate it will have Enjin wallet preinstalled https://enjinwallet.io/
Price of $ENJ went up, cuz samsung displayed its logo. https://www.tradingview.com/x/wV759yak/
Personally I doubt all this, I thought best place to ask here.
Thanks

Seems it doesn't have anything blockchain related. I don't see Samsung Blockchain Wallet or Enjin Wallet built-in, also there is no Samsung Blockchain Keystore option in Settings menu on S10 (SM-G973F/DS).
p.s. Enjin Crypto Wallet is available in Galaxy Store, but it's don't clear - it used Knox Keystore or not.

Articles like this The Samsung Galaxy S10 has a cryptocurrency wallet built in claim availability of built-in wallet, but seems it's some kind of "fake news".

No it let me create a wallet even though I don't know how to use it yet because I'm driving it let me set it up and I wrote down my pass phrases

For all who interested, seems Samsung Blockchain Wallet consists of following parts:
1. Samsung Blockchain Wallet (com.samsung.android.scryptowallet)
2. Samsung Blockchain Keystore (com.samsung.android.coldwalletservice)
3. ??? (com.samsung.android.cwstg)
I have first two, but still haven't 3. And seems it's a reason why i'm still unable to run it.
p.s. Can somebody here with working Samsung Blokchain Wallet try to install Package Manager app from Google Play and try to search
Code:
com.samsung.android.cwstg
package on your phone? If it exists then upload it here. Thx in advance.

[Release][v0.1][KyoCast] Your ticket outside the Google Garden for rooted Chromecasts

This MOD has been superseeded with Eureka-ROM, which is available at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2578653
I am very happy to announce my contribution to the chromecast community, KyoCast.
{

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Important: This is in BETA and relies on services outside of Google which may not always be available - It is hosted on a good connection and if you have any issues please let me know!.
What is it?
KyoCast is a mod for your rooted Chromecast device, it redirects traffic that requests the whitelist information on which applications are allowed and instead of sending them to google it sends them to the KyoCast servers.
The config file will be updated on a regular basis and developers are free to request their application be published into the KyoCast whitelist! (please PM me for this).
How do I use it?
This is a standard eureka_image.zip file to flash via Flashcast - it replaces the devices certificate store and places a dns record in the hosts file to force it to access the KyoCast servers
Download is available here: https://mega.co.nz/#!55onGbLB!Qr3RIWDCIGCeJbw0RvZY5hAvPTVXD3Ul2T2AJn772Vg
How do I know it's working?
Browse to your chromecast on http://<chromecastIP>:8008/apps/Revision3_App - if this page is not blank then it is working successfully.
If you have the demo_app available, you should be able to successfully launch a number of applications outside the google whitelist. Please note that as I have no client code
I cannot provide you with access to the clients for these launchers.
As of posting the KyoCast configuration includes access to the following (note that clients are not available for these as of yet):
ALLCast Updated 14/11/2013
Chromecast Dashboard Added 14/11/2013 - https://github.com/boombatower/chromecast-dashboard for more information
Fling Updated 14/11/2013
AOL_ON_Dev_App
AOL_ON_App
HBO_DEV_App
HBO_App
Post_TV_App
Revision3_App
Songza_App
How do I move back to google?
If you wish to move back to google servers, download and flash the following zip which will remove the hosts file entries.

Hi
Any way of setting this up locally? then you could host your own whitelist and nobody could block it.

This feature will be available soon, I don't want whitelists to be out of sync so want to write something to synchronize and such before releasing the server code. Releasing it now would cause all sorts of fragmentation.

Wouldn't surprise me, Samsung one who has to call foul on that. But input from user gets their case going. Same issue when Google called foul on Samsung for blocking gapps on their s6, using android only requires openness to gapps.
So do you have it?

The T-Mobile version also has the VZW LTE bands. I read somewhere, that if you launch it first time without a sim in it. You might skip the loading, or installing of carrier bloatware. Nothing confirmed, but a few people theorizing.

Disabled Bixby

I am a Google Assistant user and absolutely hate Bixby, especially that damn button! So I figured out a way to totally disable it, including the button.
1. Download Package Disabler Pro from the Play Store
2. Open it up and do a search for "Bixby"
3. Put a check mark in every box that has the word "Bixby" in it.
4. Reboot phone.
5. No more Bixby and it deactivates the button.

Maybe do a Google search for Samsung/Oreo bloatware. There is also an option in the app to disable all bloatware, but that's too general for me.

Some may consider the app Package Disabler Pro "bloat" when you can use ADB to remove/disable items that you know w/certainty you will not use/need.
I'm not in that camp, but, others may be,or,just don't want to cough up the cost of the app.
I definitely plan on using Package Disabler Pro,for the very reason you stated, ease of re-enabling w/o a factory reset.
If the Bixby button is a problem. You can remap it to use Google Assistant with bxActions. Worked for me on my SGS8+
Skickat från min SM-G955F via Tapatalk
Not with Note 9. Bxaction is still sorting through Bixby 2.0. I remapped it as my back button. It works, but its buggy.
Trying Bixby see what it has to offer.

If you're rooted, you can remap the button. Already done with mine and it works perfectly.

Then you can use Button Remapper, and it will pick up the key.

Hi, I had some crash reports so a possible fix is on beta channel and on the way for stable channel.
Just to confirm, you get a crash when launching an installed module right?
The same problem.
When i click on clockface "this app is no longer available"

Hi,
This happens when you didnt install the module separately and it is not available in your region. The app itself has no ability to install other apks but only to launch them. So for clockface to work, you need to download the missing clockface apk from mega folder in the op or from apkmirror.

Hi, do yo see any errors? Did you installed the routine app using apk?
Not sure I'm missing something here but the app is just a bunch of shortcuts right? If so, why is the ad free version priced at £5? I'm all for supporting developers but isn't that a little steep for what this app actually does?
Apologies in advance if I've overlooked a niche feature or something

No worries! Yeah, you are right. This is my first time developing an app and the paid version is not for the functionality, for donation purposes actually, as I couldn't yet implement in app donations. Free one only comes with a small non-intrusive banner ad.
Btw it shouldn't be as high as 5£, I noticed some issues with prices in some countries, and gonna check yours. Do you live in UK?

Always the problem with routine

Camera controller missing - any downloadable apk?

Hi,
I have 2 galaxy watch 3 devices (my wife and me), one paired with note9 the other one with A50.
I've noticed that the one paired with A50 does not have "camera controller" app (the one included free - Samsung app) and it cannot be found in galaxy store.
Ive tried another app (partly free) in store and it works with A50, so I don't understand where is the problem, because my watch has the app and I'm able to find it in store.
Anyway, how could I get the app from my watch (paired with note9) to send it to my wife's watch?
Both watches are LTE, same model SM-R845F.
Or maybe there is any "repository" where I could download the camera controller app?
Thank you

Nevertheless, I grabbed the wgt and created an apk to push to the watch, not sure if it would work but only you can tell, I tested it on my phone and watch...
CameraController installer:
Google Drive - TPKs/WGTs - Camera Controller Installer
Install the apk on the phone that you want the watch to have the camera controller...
Thank you for your effort an sorry for late reply,
Unfortunately it gives the message to update the firmware on my note9, and I do not want to update as I do not want to loose the call recording capabilities.
Found a third party app in galaxy store that is working, even the free version, One Camera.
Thank you,

THX for your effort. But doesn't work on galaxy S8 (stock no-root) android 9 (I think). Just says to update the phone's system software... Maybe it is looking for android 10 and up? Maybe it is possible to just let it look for android 8 and up on the phone instead?

Sadly, tpks/wgts are unmoddable, the things you can change are limited, and shm mainly depended on the phone app, hence it was easier to play with
I have the S22 ultra, and the Watch 5 pro, and this app doesn't work, and I can't install it from the official store, it says my watch is not compatible lol.
