hey guys, I recently installed the lineageOS 16 on my moto x4, but then I came across a problem: the gestures in the fingerprint. I searched for hours but did not find anything that would do this function, if anyone knows of a port or something similar, I thank you.

I believe it is under System, called Buttons. You can toggle it there.

I am on a rom i flashed from here that doesnt include googler caller id due to proprietary reasons, which is understandable, so i was wondering if anyone could point me to the right direction to finding a way to install this on my nex6. I googled and seen kit kat links only and ports. A reply or PM would be fine. Im not sure if this is considered "piracy" if so please delete. I just want to use a feature that came with my phone, thats it
bump if any chance anybody has solution to this for me? thanks

I am pretty sure it is part of the dialer itself. I don't have a solution just a little insight.

Yep. Maybe some can rip the dialer.. IDK if its as simple as moving the stock APK over or not.
Thanks for reading, so im having problems with my proximity sensor on my xt1058, im using linage os 13 and im happy with it, i espend many hours looking for a solution and nothing seems to work, last thing i discover was on this place https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69507586&postcount=253 but thats for nexus and linageos 14 , so i copied the dialer anyway and it didnt work, dialer wont even come up, so i was wondering if theres someone out there that would be kind enough to compile a motox linageos 13 dialer with proximity sensor off for me. Thanks for any help.

Could you do the same to recompile without the proximity sensor for me, please? I would be very grateful, I need it very much, I use it in an LG, I am new to the forum, I forgive my bad English, I am using Google Translate
I know the zealous sharpening issue with the stock moto is a post processing problem and has been mention if not rooted no actual fix yet.. Also others have stated open camera didn't take any better pictures... However I'm wondering if certain apps simply rely on the OS post processing and don't have their own built in. As I used Google camera today to take 2 exact pictures. I sat holding my hand in exactly the same position without moving.. Then launched the stock camera and the comparison is a visibly less noisy and softer photo. I will upload the comparison
Attatched photos taken with both cameras. No hdr no settings adjusted same place touched to focus.
i named each file accordingly. but incase you cant see file names.
goes moto google then for st shot google moto
On custom roms, the Google camera is great, but still has a few issues. Sometimes, it only allowed me to take a few photos at one, and then stopped letting me take any. I had to exit out and go back in to fix it. That said, I saw it on the lineage camera and open camera to...
Either way, the big problem in find is other apps using the camera, which seems to either not work or show a very dark image. This affected mostly QR apps in my experience, (2 factor apps, WhatsApp, etc.)
What version of Google Camera did you use?

Thanks, I tried 4.1.006 with some buildprop tweaks and 2.7.008; just was curious if you were using the target sdk version for stock or not.

How did you guys installed Google Camera, since it's not compatible with the G5 plus? Is there an apk? Thanks

Sorry maybe this one isn't compatible. You'll need a apk off a mirror site but I don't know which to trust so will leave that decision to you
Nah, that's for a different processor I think. I can't find it

I downloaded the versions listed previously from apkmirror and enabled camera2 in build.prop. There is a Magisk Module for enabling camera2 now as well.
I had no issues with 2.7.008, but 4.1.006 would occasionally fc when switching from camera to video.
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 is the build.prop I used.
Someone please kindly share me the APK of Google Camera for non-rooted Moto G5 Plus. I thought I could also use it in my phone!

Yeah, I already tried looking for it but couldn't find anything on the G5 Plus forum.

Damn! I knew we had a 32 bit ROM bit I don't know it brought such limitations with it. Maybe we see 64 bit with andrpid O.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi people..
I bought my Moto G6 xt1925, maybe 2 week ago and from the first day i note it laggy at the time of input text.
I mean, i write in an aplication like whatsapp and it gets laaggy at writing or, at the time i press "enter".
it goes like that before writing too, when i try to press "back" for getting out of the app.
Is any solution for an issue like this?..
Thanks for a quick answer..

G6 has a better chipset than the g4. Do you have the 8 core version?

yes man, and the experience is really really worst than with the moto g4 plus.
Will change the kernel (a kernel with a customizable frequency) make it better?

Hi, recently my Redmi 9 has been having issues and I don't know if it's because of the update to MIUI 13 Android 12 or if it's something else, but I can barely use the phone now because I can barely see anything on screen because these vertical lines appearing. I searched online and can't find a solution to the problem, so I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue...
