I've just got a HTC One in black and i LOVE IT, but i use poweramp and would like a way to use the poweramp widget on my lockscreen. I tried widgetlocker but i quite like face unlock now it works properly so i'd like to keep that function. Is it possible to add widgets to the sense lockscreen?
When 4.2.2 will arrive, yes
I just installed another launcher (Action Launcher Pro), so I no longer have access to the HTC widgets. I want a basic music widget with play/pause, next/previous, album art and artist/song name. Basically, something like the stock HTC widget. 4x1 or 4x2 would be ideal sizes.
I have tried:
Plug In Music Widget: Perfect functionality, pretty ugly.
Phantom Music Control: No album art. Also, instead of a pause button, it has a stop button, meaning pressing play after that restarts the song. :-/ Also, it's feature of tapping the widget to open the music app also doesn't work for some reason, it says that it was unable to open the app.
Pure music widget: No previous button on any of the widgets other than the 4x4 one, which is too big.
Anyone got any other suggestions?

I use .. https://play.google.com/store/apps/...=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zZXlhLnBsdWdtdXNpYyJd
Very good imo, not 100% sure if it works on the default HTC player but it works fine on the Google one.

Works perfect on the HTC player. I guess it is better than the previous winner, since it does everything I need.
Ideally, I just need one that looks better because this one is pretty ugly. However, I guess beggars can't be choosers, so if I don't find a better looking one, this is the winner.
Ugly is a very subjective word, what's ugly to you may be beautiful to someone else ... Saying that, I have mine set up with a transparent background and other stuff so that it works well with my wallpaper and screen setup ...

That's not a bad way to implement it. However, you had to put a lot of effort to get that 1 specific look. What I like about some widgets, like the HTC music widget, is that it's very versatile and looks good with just about any scenario.

True, I quite like a minimal look, although for me, there's a lot going on in that screenshot I posted lol .. I agree, the HTC music widget is nice, I'm just not a fan of the background colour, I think all widgets should allow you to change the background.
I will be loading up Stock KK and I hate LG's stock lockscreen. I have gotten use to the AOSP lockscreen and really like it, especially the way KK shows album art over the entire screen during playback. I was wondering if there is a Lockscreen app out there that does this? I use to use Widgetlocker, but haven't touched it in a good while. Anyone know of any good apps to take a look at? Thanks

In 4.4 lg changed something that broke the aosp lock screen on stock. No one had found a way around it yet.

Check out widget locker. You should be able to make it look like aosp.

Loving dynamic notifications so far. Lockscreen notifications and replacement lock screen. Need to be rooted with xposed framework.
acdisplay puts art over the entire screen. It's a lot like dashclock, but with some added nifty features. very minimal too.

I second acdisplay. It's works like a charm (it mimics Moto's active display) and still allows for that ugly stock pin lock so we have that extra layer of security when unlocking.
Should be pretty standard by now but somehow I can't find it in the settings?
And no, I don't really want to install a lockscreen app like widgetlocker.
No, there's nothing built in, so unless you want to wait until Android Lollipop (which has lockscreen notifications) you'll need an app like NiLS or Floatify - both are excellent, and work better than standard lockscreen apps since they float above the lockscreen rather than needing a widget.
Is there some setting that I am missing to get my album art screen back on the lock screen?
Try Hi Locker.. It has fullscreen album art and works well on my s5... Stock Samsung lockscreen on lollipop, at least on my s5, only gives the music widget and no longer has the full screen art anymore.. Hopefully, they bring it back.
