I was disabling some packages and I must've disabled something related to those two functions without realizing, the problem is I have no idea the names, because i was getting them from a package list app, and since they're now uninstalled i have no idea about the name. The air command package appears as install, so It must've been something related, does anyone have any clue? I don't want to factory reset the phone
Can't you just reverse the process to enable the packages that you disabled?
I assume you disabled via ADB?
I recently read that doing this does not actually uninstall the app, it disables and can be re-enabled.
Yes, you're correct, but I have no idea what the names of the packages are, is there an app that can show me disabled packages?
Look under Air Commands

Already tried, no luck it must be some package that's related to it, idk

Does anyone know how to modify the Touchless Controls app? I've pulled the apk, disassembled and tried making some modifications. However, I'm having no luck reinstalling the app. It's also impossible for me to uninstall the app despite having root.
The reason it won't let me reinstall is due to the lack of matching certificates between the original and modified apks. I imagine this would be solved if I could just remove it altogether, but I seem to be unable to do that for some reason.
I was hoping to modify it a bit so that it would respond to other phrases besides "OK Google Now" but it's just a waste of time if we can't even reinstall the apk.
Hello,
I've been using AcDisplay for a couple of weeks now but today I decided I no longer needed it. So, foolishly, I tried uninstalling it in the normal fashion. Then I proceeded to remove the module from the Xposed modules list and soft-rebooted my HTC. Unfortunately, this must have caused some trouble as the app had been granted device administrator status. Now, its icon is in the app drawer, but cannot be dragged to the uninstall button (which is greyed out), clicking it leads to an error message and every other attempt to uninstall it properly through Xposed says that it first needs to be removed from the device administrators. However, this is not possible as the app is no longer visible in that list.
Could you please help me find a way out of this mess?
Thanks!
So I think at this point the only solution too my problem is to perform a factory data reset, but would like some suggestions before I try that.
I got substratum working, and I tried installing a paid theme, but didn't like it so I uninstalled it. After I got the refund I realized that the modifications caused by the overlays stayed, but they are causing problems. Namely, anything in the phone that requires a yes or no response won't give me that option. I attached a screen shot of the problem. It shows I can't uninstall the overlays through the substratum app. I can't authorize adb on my computer either. Nor can I gain access to the settings menu on my phone, as the other screenshot shows.
Any ideas?

Excuse me, I´m totally new to the package disabling and I´m really looking forward to get it working on my new S21 Ultra. Could somebody please take some time, and explain to me what does it do and if the apps will still work even after disabling? (For example the bixby voice wakeup was disabled as seen in the screenshot, will my phone be able to get awaken via Bixby if it is disabled?)
Secondly I´d like to ask you if there is some sort of "best" list of packages to disable. I really want to maximize the battery life and performance of my device since it´ll be my inevitable workstation for couple of months.
Kind regards!
It didn't work for me, the message "operation not supported" shows whenever I try to disable a package.
In the end I removed everything bixby related manually through adb.
Sorry been busy with daughter and cutting and back.Give me hour show you guys how use it.Do you guys have root or not.Two ways to do it
I use package disabler root. But they also have adb method as well
i want to delete samsung calendar, will it generate errors?
It is possible to stop permission monitoring via developer options --> running services --> permission monitoring --> stop. Unlike some other vivo services it dosen't restart.
Why? Well it interferes with shizuku and constantly kills shizuku. If it's stopped shizuku started via adb command will run until reboot. Also it constantly messes around if you remove permissions from vivos spyware apps / system apps.
Most phone OS have an option in developer options to disable it. Howevre Origin OS 3 is missing it. Could we create a key with setedit or similar that is respected? Anyone knows which key Oppo Color OS (which has this setting) is changing and the text of it? As usual vivo is only hiding features I'm pretty sure but if we know the name we can set it permanently.
Well I think it's related to device management (com.vivo.devicereg) app. If I remove this- then the permission monitoring is off as well. Now I think the device monitoring if uninstalled broke something? Or did I confuse that with something else?
I removed from day 1 as well. No problem so far I guess. I also didn't have any problem with shizuku before, but for now I'm not using it anymore.
so we can disable or remove com.vivo.devicereg safely? just to double check....thank you
yes i think so.
