Use NikGapps Basic. You can search it on Google. I don't recommend using OpenGApps anymore

where is capacitive buttons customization? did i miss a settings?

i dont understand why some many android 11 version, while the freeze bug is still there, and no one develop a decent stable android 10 version.
what is the point of have android 11 if you cannot use as daily driver because of the random freezes?

please add rounded corners. dot os is one of my favorite roms and it works great.

Kudos to developer. This ROM is amazing. For me all is working, including Google Assistant with "Ok Google".

I tried it today and working here too

This Custom ROM, dotOS 5.1, has two zip file versions to download. I chose zip file with gapps and everything is working good.
One doubt: when I'm on lockscreen and swipe qs tiles down qs tiles background is on transparency color. Is it normal? I don't know where i change it.

Impressive UI and buttery smooth but status bar is bit thicker, so can you adjust it to 35dp like arrowOS next update?

Hey! Can Anyone Tell Me What Camera App This Rom Has?

I am trying this ROM right now.
Everything looking good, only one thing - no battery percentage icon on status bar Even if I check in setting "percentage always on" - nothing, only battery icon.
Google Pay and Google Play certified working without any fix.
I flash this ROM with TWRP 3.5 on MIUI eu stable 12.5.1 (data format after flash).

i am on evolution x .6 rom now ..
do i have to install Gapps separately or it is already included in rom ?
what is the different between ramadhan rom and unofficial rom ? which is the best one ?

First Make sure recovery is installed. (LineageOS recovery works fine as of now)
Reboot to recovery
Make nandroid backup (Not Necessary, but just in case if you lost somewhere)
Perform Factory Reset/Format
Choose - Apply update from ADB
then sideload the lastest build - adb sideload latest-Build.zip
package sideloads till 47% and you can skip Signature verification.
Reboot to System
DIRTY FLASH :
Download the latest build
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest build
Wipe Cache
Reboot
If you're coming from Stock OxygenOS - check here

There should be no problem using orangefox. If you don't want to use gapps install the vanilla version instead if you need gapps install the gapps version

Only bug is not working Device Settings in this version, but I released other builds with working XiaomiParts (https://github.com/ririxidev/dotOS/releases/tag/v5.1.2-beta).
Recovery depends on you, but OrangeFox is recommended.

GCam doesn't have option to save stuff to SD since Pixels don't have SD card slot. You can use GCamTool from gplay

DotOS is quite good, i´m not missing anything.
Perhaps I´ve found a bug with Airpods.
On an incoming call, the ringtone with connected Airpods only works for a fraction of a second, then it stops.
Everything else is fine like audio, calls, gestures.
It works on havocOS and also with my iPad.

It doesn't happen only with AirPods. It happens whatever Bluetooth device you have paired and it happens in many ROMs. Not only on DotOS.

Are you planning to go to version 5.2? It seems like it hasn't been updated for a while.

In the DotOS website, it says there is no maintainer anymore... Did you stop working on this device just today?

OOS cam pointless in my opinion anyway, so good riddance for not adding it Thank you for your work.

The other version is official, but the maintainer is no longer maintaining it and is looking for the next maintainer. I hope you can take over.

So just to know, to this days is there any bugs with this ROM ? A little review could up the numbers !
I really would like to test it but I don't have time to take 3hrs+ to flash then go back to havoc...

That should answer what you wanted. As far as the dev writing up a review, I think we should be grateful for the work he's done for the community. He doesn't even have to do that for us, so I think that's a lot right there.
And as far as it taking 3+ hours to flash a rom and then go back to another... I don't see that being very realistic. I can flash and setup a fresh ROM in like 30 minutes... :\
I suggest just trying for yourself. That's the best part about trying a new ROM or kernel.

No worries I ran the latest build and it ran fine for me. Try it out

3 hrs if you take account of the time to redownload every app twice !

Fingerprint doesn't work, UI glitched - status bar

Any news about 5.2?

i tested this rom 24h hours . So it's the best custom rom in all tread xda for one plus 8T ...
very very smooth and performant in all things you want to do in 8t really i'm so happy with this Dotos Os ... work perfectly thanks for the developper for this
i tested all custom roms ( many bugs & crash )
but Dotos is the best with may specific & fluidity ..
If you want to flash a custom rom for 8t !!
