Yes I tried there times with his tutorial but only one time worked

I tried haky's method but my device got bricked after b049 flash

I haven't tried again, because I got sick of troubleshooting that day. I may try again because I plan to send it for repairs (WiFi range over 2 meters is RIP)

I read that post.......I do nothave linux....that post is not useful for me.

Is the new v2 root using Oreo or still on Nougat?
