Android on Trinity wanted!!
now that the full Android code is out it's possible!!
we can have Android on Trinity!!
please help... I cannot stand anymore WM!!
What do I need to get started? (Programs to download, etc.)
Any good readings on the particular subject?
Do I need to know any programming languages? (C++, etc.)
How do I know which SPL and radio are required?
How could I fix bugs?
Most importatnly, what are the detailed steps in creating a ROM?
Before I get the unoriginal e-rage phrase: "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON HEH HEH HEH HEH," I have. But when I do, the results are really broad, and I'm not willing to go through 12 pages of non-related threads. And yes, I did use google. Same thing. Androidspin only teaches the basic first parts to creating a ROM, and in my opinion, doesn't really get into it. I'm experienced when it comes to flashing, as I have done it for a while now. I'm not a complete noob as I know what basic terms are when it comes to rooting and flashing. These are the questions I need answered and I would really appreciate it if I had a lending hand to help me get started.

-EDIT-
I'm working on getting ubuntu now..
Well, if we want to build from source (who doesn't), you'll need linux or os x. File moving can be done on any os.

Is it possible to access the field test application in lumia 520 in the new amber update? I found from the internet that it should be possible with dev unlocked phones which I now have but I have no idea how to proceed from here.

Just look at my Diagnostic Apps thread in my signature. Its ##3282&call or just ##3282#.
It might be disabled depending on your device and provider. I'm still missing reports on many devices on it.

Then you need to install the Native Toast launcher. You will need a Windows 7 (64bit edition) or a Windows 8 Pro (64bit edition) computer.
If you need more specific instructions, you can follow the FAQ in my sig too.

Need twrp first
I have read of "delicacy" of this device and the ease of damaging it using rooting with lightness.
Despite having performed hundreds of "genetic experiments" on my previous devices, I think this Mate 10 Pro will leave you in peace also seen the price not so cheap ...
Apart from the fun of modding and changing rom this Huawei works too well to play with lightness.
There is no bloatware, energy consumption is optimized, and you can only do damage.
With the root I can only make it worse, so let him in peace. For a while...

Try to uninstall drivers through device manager, and then reinstall them manually... If you haven't already...
Suggesting someone to switch whole operating system just to connect phone to a PC is pretty dumb in my opinion... And to Linux non the less... You'd be better off switching to Mac OS... Tbh...
