I had a Samsung A6 2018 stuck on FRP locked
My firmware version is R16NW/A605GDXU3ARK2
I follow recommended as this forum
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/bypass-frp-lock-samsung-galaxy-a6-sm-t3806207
But, there is no guideline for firmware version R16NW/A605GDXU3ARK2.
How can I root this firmware device?
Anyone who has experience of this, please help
Thank you.

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N9500 HK variant with the latest Firmware and security patch
I bought it since 1 month. eagerly waiting for installing TWRRP and rooting it using Supersu
I tried the following TWRPs through Odin
1-Galaxy Note 8 N9500 Unofficial TWRP Android Nougat 7.1.1.tar
2-Galaxy_note_8_twrp-3.1.1-0-greatlte.img.tar
3-N9500%20Nougat%207%201%201%20Unofficial%20TWRP.tar
4-N9500_TWRP_3.1.1-0.tar
5-N9500+Nougat+7+1+1+Unofficial+TWRP.tar
All these when installed through ODIN showed "PASSED" in Odin. but failed to install in the phone, I can not reboot into recovery.
Then I got the following 2 TWRPs
6-N8-TWRP-835-3.1.1-1-greatqltechn.img.tar
7-N9500_TWRP_3.1.1-0.tar
Both installed , I swiped for system modification, then wiped to factory reset, installed SuperSU, but failed to reboot into system. it is bootlooped in recovery , I have to flash my stockrom to recover the phone.
So if anybody have the knowledge how to install the correct TWRP and root this variant , kindly help me and others who are in the same situation. It will be great help if they can provide the links for downloading the necessary files
Thanking You all very much

I'm using Note 8 hongkong n9500 128gb dual sim version. The android Oreo 8.0 final leak build (March 4, 2018) is for the n950u1 which I wanted to flash onto my note 8 hk model. Has someone flashed n950u1 to n9500? And if possible kindly show the steps to do so thank you.

search and read. especially about downgrading the bootloader
I believe, if you have bootloader version 3 it's not possible to downgrade. I have downgraded international unlocked Note 9 back to ARL4 version back in January. There is a huge discussion here on xda how to do it, but unfortunately I think it can't be done in your case.
Hi Guys,
Need Help on my Root im trying to Root my phone S7 Edge SM-935T with Odin V3.14.4 to add TWRP it fail. Try many different firmware (twrp-3.5.0_9-0-hero2lte.img & twrp-3.4.0-0-hero2lte.img & twrp-3.3.1-0-hero2lte.img ) but no success. could someone assist me. What am i doing wrong?
Andriod 8.0
Samsung Experience 9.0
Andriod Security Patch Level: December 1 2019
Thanks in Advance!!
Looks like the up-to-date bootloader is not letting the custom recovery to pass by, a custom odin might become handy?
There are a few forms on the SM-G935T on how to root, it may take time but has a success rate.
Those recovery are not for ur specific model they r for those with g935f or g935fd.
T mobile has locked bootloader so essentially it is unrootable as international versions like the exynos plus the custom bootloader have a big hit on performance and battery so it is not to try root or recovery (if u r lucky and have an older bootloader) .
Hello,
I am trying to root my S21 Ultra and have tried following multiple tutorials with no success. Looking for assistance to see if anyone knows what I am doing wrong.
Model: SM-G998U1
CSC: XAA
I have downloaded the latest firmware via Frija flashed it onto my device via Odin. I then put the AP file onto my device downloaded Magisk and patched the file to create the Tar file. I then tried to flash the device again with the same files except I swapped the AP file with the Tar file Magisk generated. It gets almost all the way to the end but then fails on "vbmeta_system.img" and my Device shows "secure check fail: vbmeta(1)". Does anyone know what this error means. I tried googling it with no success. Sorry I am a total noob when it comes to this stuff. Any assitance is greatly appriciatede.
Thank you.
@Puffnstuf
You have the Galaxy S21 Ultra's US carrier unlocked variant (U1).
Unfortunately, Samsung doesn't allow unlocking the bootloader of US and Canadian Galaxy devices. There exists an unofficial bootloader unlock method, but you can only use it if your Galaxy S21 is on the v1 bootloader.
Without an unlocked bootloader, you can't flash third-party binaries (such as the Magisk-patched boot image).
@SkandaH
How do I tell if my device is on the v1 bootloader? I am guessing its not if I have updated the device. If its not is there anyway to downgrade to the v1 bootloader?
If I am unable to unlock the bootloader should I avoid updating my device incase a new way to unlock the bootloader is released in the furture?
@Puffnstuf
The fifth character from the right end of the build number is the bootloader version. For example, the latest available firmware for the SM-G998U1 model is G998U1UES5CVF5. Its bootloader version is v5.
There is no known way to downgrade the bootloader version.
You may start deferring updates, but it's really difficult to predict the future. If you want to tinker with your device, it's always better to get one that comes with an unlockable bootloader.
