Hello everyone, two days ago I flashed Android P on my Moto G6 (Stock ROM) after moving off of a custom ROM, I forgot to test call audio. Today, I got several phone calls, and there is NO call audio. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Well After downloading nesscary files android toolkit , and factory images . it kept failing when I did adb>reboot boot loader / Flash all after opening cmd in the toolkit file
What I ended up doing was using NRT Nexus Root Toolkit v2.0.5
To flash the IMG with force flash enabled . but instead of letting it auto download the IMG that would put me back at LMY47I . imported the .zip file I got from google for 47M and wala . back to LMY47M . with 5.1.1 .. Thank you hope this helps someone else .

Hello guys,
When I tried to update my Moto X for AT & T to RETAIL BR "VICTARA_RETBR_XT1097_5.1_LPE23.32-14.2_cid12_CFC.xml" version, now only comes into fastboot boot and says "Bad check failed for boot, downgraded version for boot, failed to validate boot image ".
Then I thought that would solve flashing with "VICTARA_ATT_XT1097_5.1_LPE23.32-21.2_cid1_CFC.xml" and I found this legend now, "downgraded version for primary_gdt"
Any idea how to fix it?
Thank you in Advance.

Sorry but there is no solution to that error. You upgraded your bootloader and partition table to the ones from 6.0 and it is impossible to downgrade those. Do not under any circumstances take an OTA or it could cause a hard brick which is impossible for us to fix.
As far as getting your phone working, flash that firmware file you have. When you get to the errors about downgraded version, just ignore them and continue. You will need to erase cache and data to get back to 5.1. So make sure that you do:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
If all goes well your phone should be on 5.1 and working. But as I said before, taking an OTA now would most likely cause a permanent hard brick.

You need to re flash it with this firmware, is the last one with the Stagefright Patch: http://www.filefactory.com/file/705qta2o0wrt/VICTARA_ATT_XT1097_5.1_LPE23.32-21.9_cid1_CFC.xml.zip
Before the flash, power up you phone and put this command: fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
Then, turn it off amd be sure to power up your phone in FASTBOOT mode pressing the Power Button and Volume Down at the same time, when the phone boots, connenct it to the PC and flash it with RSD Lite like you did with the Brazilian firmware.
I hope it works! :good:

Yes you can! I have the same Moto X and i did it that way.
It does not matter if you have the bootloader lock, to flash with RSD you don't need to unlock the bootloader.
You actually try to flash the phone with the lastest firmware ?

- Download the latest Motorola drivers for Windows: http://www.motorola.com/getmdmwin
- Download the latest firmware for your phone.
- Install drivers and RSD Lite to your PC.
- Make sure your battery at least 80% before we proceed.
- Turn off your phone and press both volume keys and power on. You'll enter bootmenu. (IMPORTANT!)
- Connect your phone to PC and your PC will detect and install the drivers automatically.
- Open RSD Lite and click ... beside filename. Browse to the firmware and double click it. A menu will popup and choose "uncompress and start flashing".

Exactly, because you need the latest firmware for your phone. When you try to flash the Brazil Firmware, you already have the latest firmware, and now the flash fail because you need a new one...

My device: PRA-LX1 (Dual SIM version)
Got bricked. I was installing Google APPS on EMUI (Dumb) and it just kept on looping and restarting.
I decided to try the rescue zip and when I successfully restore it, it boots back to TWRP after I reboot to system.
My recoverys: TWRP (installed on recovery2) and Stock EMUI Recovery (installed on recovery)
Bootloader: Unlocked
Fastboot: Command not allowed
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Hello, is the FRP status on fastboot mode LOCKED or UNLOCKED
if it's UNLOCKED then you can unbrick it using fastboot to flash boot.img system.img and do a full wipe of your data partition.

I already booted, that's good news!
Now I've got a problem. The famous unbrick guide everyone uses - the firmware is buggy for me.
Fingerprint scanner doesn't work - camera doesn't work and audio doesn't work.
I think this is a problem with the firmware as they are more models of the PRA-LX1?
Btw, how do I find mine?
Thanks

I'm experiencing the same thing right now with my PRA-LA1 and the only way that I found to make it works is to install a TWRP recovery and root it. But I have a lot of bugs after that I've already created a thread for that if someone can help
[Help] Bugs after rooting PRA-LA1
Hi all. I have been trying to twrp and root my XZ2 for a week now with no success. I have the H8296 variant that came with the HK firmware but I messed that up so bad I had to fully flash another FW, specifically H8296_9.0_52.0.A.11.32_India. I'm in the USA but this was the latest FW I can find to download. I was unable to flash the US h8266 FW or any h8266 FWs...
Anyway, this is where I am at, stock FW as said above, android 9. I've followed every tutorial I can find on how to twrp and root. I can get to twrp no problem then after magisk is flashed all I get is boot loops. Something that is not mentioned anywhere is the very first option twrp asks about. "keep filesystem read only" or something along those lines. No where in any of the tutorials say what to do here. I've tried both options with no luck. I'm just at my wits end and feel like there's something wrong with my hardware. I've been rooting android since the droid 1 days, so this isn't new to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
(BTW I am on linux)
My H8296 is happy.
And the H8266 firmware did run fine too.
(Got delivered with hong Kong or Taiwan firmware)

Same.. Newflasher was giving me an error. I finally got it to flash the latest H8266 tonight! So I went ahead and tried to install TWRP and root again following your post. I got to "Advanced menu -> "Install recovery ramdisk" -> Choose twrp.img" then when rebooting back into TWRP its stuck on the Teamwin logo even after running " fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img" again as specified. The phone still boots into android amazingly, so thats nice. lol
Any tips for when stuck at this point?
Thanks!

Yes, I've read this post in geat detail many times looking for where I messed up haha. I did read the "dont flash TWRP" thing and thought it meant dont flash twrp from fastboot XD. OK, well I'll try and flash Magisk from the "fastboot boot twrp" and see if it bootloops like always.

Great, thanks a lot! Do I need to install Magisk.zip after that or Magisk Manager?
Sorry, been off from rooting the past few years but now I felt the need to do it again.

I did figure it out what cost the problem, when i set up the phone for the first time it updated it to a new version which cost the incompatibility so i reflash the OEM rom that matches the patched boot.img and it worked, the only issue now is that the update fails, my Razr 5g is the unlocked version in the US. thank you
Can this be done to make a Verizon variant?

You have to download the same version of firmware that is in you phone then unzip and extract boot.img
From telegram you find you fmw in this bot:
@motoupdatestracker
. . .
File IMG Patched for european firmware Android 11:
- Version: RPSS31.Q1-40-17-12-6
- Phone Model(s): XT2071-4-DS/PAJR0021RO
- Magisk Patched Boot.img
- Stock Boot.img
Anyone know where i can download the latest zip which contains boot.img? It's great to be able to root the first image, however any update after that makes root useless since the boot img causes issues and you'll wind up reflashing.
