I have looked for this answer everywhere and do not seem to find an answer for it: Which version of the Note 4 Exynos works with T-Mobile LTE?
From a post I read, seems that the SM-N910C sold in Qatar works, but I am not sure.
Any help is greatly appreciated !

Interesting...unless the Qatar version supports 1700MHz band....I'm don't think you'll fully be able to utilize the TM network.

Short answer, The N910C and N910U has Band 4 LTE. Neither has band 12 (700MHz Block A)
Also, when on call or in a low-signal area, hold the phone with your left hand. The diversity receiver (2nd antenna) is right beneath the power button.

Yup, thanks a lot ! I was getting to that conclusion... T-Mobile uses Band 4 (AWS 1700/2100 MHz), which you are right only the N910C and N910U have. And also true, as with other international phones like the Sony Z3 and others, the biggest regret will be Band 12. However, for what I have read, the regret there of not having Band 12 is WiFi calling and some better reception indoor like in buildings and such.

LTE Band 12 has nothing to do with WiFi calling. WiFi calling, in terms of hardware, simply requires WiFi, which all N910 models have (2.4 and 5.xGHz). The rest is carrier support (which T-Mobile has) and software on the phone (which if it isn't on by default can be added via root).
LTE Band 12 doesn't matter much outside of California, Florida, Texas, New England, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Atlanta, Minneapolis and Indianapolis. Leap (Cricket) Wireless owns most of the 700MHz Block A spectrum in America. Check out this map and see where you live vs what your carrier holds.

I looked at that map but did not quite understood the results. So, can you please educate me on what really I might miss should I go missing the Band 12 for someone living on those areas you have mentioned above?
I am tired of waiting on the T-Mobile Note 4 availability and the N910U seems to be available on eBay, plus it has the Exynos.

What's so special about the Exynos processor over the 805? The 805 in my Note4 is a beast.

How do you add wi-fi calling via root? My understanding is that no one has managed to extract wi-fi related software pieces from T-Mobile ROMs and successfully port anywhere. That's why I'm always stuck with TW ROMs.
Just get the sm-n910t. Why do you want Exynos version? Many app wont take advantage of that cpu.

N910C VoLTE and international dialer questions.
For anyone that has the N910C running on T-Mobile, is VoLTE actived for you? When you make a call, does it stay on LTE or does it drop to 4G (HSPA) and then go back to LTE after you hang up.
Also, does the dialer include the video chat icon on the bottom left and is there a way to remove it since (I'm guessing) it doesn't work.
I have a n910c and I'm on tmobile when I call it drops down to 4g then goes back to lte.

Does HSPA (aws) 3G/4G (H+) work on your 910c on tmobile?
Also are you able to make calls & use data at the same time?

Can anyone confirm for sure if they're able to surf the web or do any data related activity while on a call with their sm-n910c? I have ZERO data connectivity while on a call and as soon as the call hangs up, I instantly have my data back. Any help or confirmation is appreciated.

Also the reason I want the Exynos is so I can run ASOP on it or as close as I can anyway. Are there ASOP ROMs that maintain the unique features of the Note 8, IE all the S pen stuff.

Note 8 really isn't the phone for you if you're looking for an AOSP ROM that retains all the S-Pen features.
Firstly, AOSP is far from d aily driver material on the S8/S8+, so I wouldn't expect a decent Note 8 build in the near future. It'll take a while.
Secondly, Verizon will work as LTE only on the Exynos Note 8 since it doesn't support any of the CDMA bands, VoLTE probably won't work due to the lack of a Verizon flashable CSC.

Kinda what I've gathered, flashing ASOP, even if it were stable, would cost me the main reason I would want the phone for.
So let's throw rooting out the window. Is there a dual SIM Snapdragon version that will work on Verizon? I have a work phone that runs on ATT and it would be nice to only have one phone to carry.

There is a Dual SIM version with the SD835 chip, but it's the Chinese variant.
Won't work with Verizon and probably won't work with AT&T either.

Well, technically they shouldn't have the required bands for th US, only for HK/China.
AT&T may work, with some tinkering, although I can't guarantee anything and Verizon is probably hopeless, the HK variant does support CDMA for China, not sure if it does for VZW.

If the specs are to be believed they should have one CDMA band that verizon uses, whether or not it's the one they use for calls I don't know. Yeah sounds like a big risk on a thousand dollar phone.
This issue is my dilemma. I actually got a Hong Kong Note 8 primarily because for the same price of the item in US without taxes, I get Deep Sea Blue, 128gb and Dual Sim
On to the technical part - Verizon uses bands 2/4/13 for LTE. If you would look at Samsung Hong Kong Note 8 technical spec page, it lists

Essentially, if it indeed supports the required bands of your desired provider, it should work fine. If you end up deciding to root it I'm sure you can flash a Verizon CSC as well which may give you any missing features such as VoLTE, though I have absolutely no knowledge or experience with Verizon.
So Tmobile's complete 4g band list is as follows; 2, 4, 5, 12, 66, and 71.
According to clove.co.uk, and another spec sheet I found on ebay, the international model s10 will support all these, except for 71.

Being that LTE bands require hardware support one cannot create it in software. Sure, disabled bands can be activated on certain QC devices but that's an exception. The Galaxy S1 lacks support for LTE. Even if someone managed to add LTE on an OS level the phone still lacks the antennas, proper modem, etc.

Never heard of LAA, LTE-U**, or 5**. Are those just separate frequencies? I just listed what I found on tmobiles site
Wanted to post that on Verizon and Samsung website the LTE bands supported on the device doesn't not include bands 12 and 71 that T mobile uses. Well i have used it on T-Mobile and it connected to band 12 which leaves me to believe the Verizon edition supports all bands like a unlock model would. Single and bands 2 4 and 66 worked great and are the main ones used in my part but 12 is around also and connects. Don't have any area where there is band 71 so cannot test that but like i said probably does just wanted to pass the info.

I just started using the Samsung galaxy s10 5g verizon variant with tmobile and had band 71 in the band selection app but today I checked and the highest band it has now is 66. Why did band 71 disappear from the lte band list?
Would you know about that?

It seem the 12gb ram Chinese Asus rog 2 have more bands than the 8gb ram one. Can anyone verify? Has the 12gb ram been release in China yet?

Here's the information for the two Chinese version. IMO the 5999 version is same as intl version except Chinese firmware.

So then is the 512gb tencent no good for Verizon? I tried Razer 2 but they said even if it has the bands to work on Verizon, they may have deleted support to get ready for 5g. Had to send the Razer back and I really want the rog 2 but I'm tired of losing signal with att where I live so I'd really like to get the correct model, if any that support verizon

I contacted Asus North America to ask if the version we get will include bands 66 and 71. I mentioned how it would be a huge selling factor for those of us on T-mobile. They responded that that would forward it to the product team.

Same. Where I'm at, 66 and 71 are crucial for me.
Tencent chinese version does not include EU/US bands..
