Please test the carrier aggregation - 4G+ . Check if 2CA with B3+B7 aggregation is fixed on this Mi phone.
Pictures and speed-tests are appreciated.
I will test it and if i got a stable one, i will inform you that which band would accept the 2CA and would be stable!
Tested but no luck! Set both B3 and B7 values on 68 for aggregation but no luck! No 4G+!
I edited my Mi5 and got and unstable signal moving from 4G+ to GSM and after set the values back to zero, this week it shows 4G+ automatically, my cousin's Mi5 that haven't edited at all, also show 4G+ but Mi9 = Nothing! One thing dude, the speed haven't hanged at all, both phone with 4G and 4G+ downloaded a same file from a same server with same speed!

Hello, There is a problem of 4G+ on the mix 2, it can't aggregate with bands 3 & 7, there is the official report that I made, 3 months ago, but no problem resolution, Xiaomi Dev looks like "AFK" for this problem... That's Anoying. http://en.miui.com/thread-1419511-1-1.html
So, I just Googled how to enable carrier aggregation for Qualcomm devices, I found this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74573146&postcount=3
And I haved tried to enable it, the process works but there is no carrier aggregation with B3 + B7...
Now I need some of your precious help.
(I am root and i'm using Network Signal Guru, B3 and B7 without aggregation is working fine)
There is the recap:
1 Band
700 Only: Works
800 Only: Works
1800 Only: Works
2600 Only: Works
2xCA Bands
700+2600: Works
800+2600: Works
1800+2600: Not working
700+1800: Works
800+1800: Works
2600+1800: Not working
3xCA Bands
800+1800+2600: Not working.
Thanks so far
HI,
Many thanks for this thread Odrilow, i confirm this issue, i've the same problem with my Mi mix 2 with the same carrier.
I'm not root and i use official Global Beta Rom.
Thanks for your help

Hello all,
I recently changed my phone carrier, and I noticed phone doesn't go in LTE+ mode anymore. Apparently, the phone is able to aggregate band 3 and 1, which was the combination my previous carrier was using, but not 3 and 7.
I read a bit around, and found out some useful discussion here:
http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=redirect&goto=findpost&ptid=392070&pid=10016974
which gave me the opportunity to understand how to set the carrier aggregation on different bands, and avoid to add any combination on band 7 which apparently isn't managed properly.
So, I used QXDM to change the nvram values on band 3 CA (default is 5, which is band 3+1 aggregation), and my phone was able to aggregate 3+7 bands, but that leads to a loop between LTE+ and LTE, which ends with phone in H.
After reverting the changes, phone goes normally in LTE.
Is there any way to enable Carrier aggregation on Mi 5, on combinations not originally present in the firmware? Or does Mi 5 lack the hardware to do so?

I dont really have the technical knowledge, but if you look at some of band 1 configs, there's a few values that are set for carrier aggregation that are not set for other bands. I think we need to configure a few more things than just enabling the CA values. Been trying to figure this out for some time. Too bad i don't have any other phone with proper ca support to compare
does the *#*#717717#*#* only works in MIUI ? currently using OMNI rom

There are some, only usable one in Italy is on band 3, it aggregates 3 and 1, but is really rare operators use this config.
You can enable the engineering mode with adb
Hey guys,
xda still going strong. nice to see.
need some help though.
i bought a note 8(yes in 2020) for some reason(side device) and i got stuck with a problem right away.
i noticed that TDD LTE bands(band 34,38,39,40,41) are all missing from my device.
i am having an exynos varient (n950f)
i was monitoring my network from past 2 days and 3ca was working fine. i was connected to 3,5 and band 40 all together.
i wanted better reception so went in network selection mode and selected band 5 preffered. i dialed *#0011# to check my ca status and i was still transmitting on all 3 bands with speeds well over 100mbps.
after some time my speeds died and i no longer see band 40 in *#0011# menu and i have tried restarting device and what not but still cant connect to band 40.
i am pretty sure TDD LTE bands including band 40 was missing from band selection menu earlier too but things were just fine. not i am stuck with a expensive device that fails badly.
please help.
on some inspection i observed that my phones is continously doing 2ca even when using no major data on band 3 and 5.
basic is stuck on band 3 and s1 on band 5. me changing to whatever setting in band selection in hiddennetworksetting dont affect it.
tried selecting bands that my operator dont even support. not in preffered mode but as the only hard selection. makes no diffrence. network signals shuts for a second and i am back on band 3 and 5 combo
Anyone who owns the Chinese version of the mi 11 ultra can test it out?
I got 5g enabled in the settings, confirmed selected in the dialer menu *#*#4636#*#* top bars say 5G and an HD symbol on its left which I confirmed is Vo-lte...
Issue is it's not really 5g but LTE or 4g, how I came to this conclusion was by running various apps/ simultaneous 5g speed tests on both this phone and an older Huawei phone I got..
Mi 11 ultra caps at 140+- dl speeds
Huawei caps at 500+- dl speeds
Provider runs 5g on band n78 which is supported by both phones..
Can running the Eu ROM fix this issue for me?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-xiaomi-mi-11-pro-ultra.4260617/post-84978259 Happen to me in xiaomi.eu STABLE. In China ROM probably it's a standard fake 5G icon, when connected to 4G/LTE network..

Thanks for forwarding me there, guess all I can do is try it out and hope for the best otherwise a 12gb/512 is up for sale
n78 is 3.5 GHz 5G band (is wiiide band, is not a 600hz band lmao) Your phone preferred to stay connected to 5G bands more than 4G bands.
Try to switch to 4G network preferred
And check it out your actual speed on 4G
(Huawei supports more bands than xiaomi...due to different processor which is Kirin)

Is there any way to get 4g+ on redmi note 11 spes
And also does 680 supports carrier aggregation
If yes then how many bands i.e 2 ca or 3 ca
I have a redmi note 11 with 4g+
It will depend on your SIM, company and signal that arrives at that moment.
For example, in my house I have constant 4g+, but since I use Wi-Fi most of the time, it is not important.
At work it only takes in H+
