Hi! I've installed on my Grand Prime G530H XXU Variant & Everything Looks Good. I faced SIM 2 Call's Bug. SIM2 Call has bug and you can just use SIM1 for Calling to anywhere. Camera & RIL Worked. Performance is cool. Battery is same as LOS 16. (about 5h SoT).
SIMs Data Worked well. Wi-Fi and Tethering Hotspot worked too. didn't seen any bugs except SIM2's Call.

Experience a bug, while calling using a Sim 2, is there a way to fix this or we will be waiting for an update?

For now seems all work but there is funny bug. I can't change wallpaper . When i do that they always back to oryginal...
Hm and camera doesn't work but i don't use so it's fine. I can check some tricks like put off battery or something.

It would be amazing. The only AOSP version was the 6.0 Carlos Arriaga one, whose ROM links are down and Carlos Arriaga left the Grand Prime development. I'd really like to see a pure AOSP Android ROM 9.0 in Grand Prime, without customizations and LOs features.

I modified the device tree and some hardware files from lineage-16.0.xml local manifest file on Galaxy MSM8916 Github.

Sorry bro. I don't think it is possible because the whole SoC is different than grand prime and it would be a really buggy port.

Battery backup is not as good as miui
Facing overheating issue with this ROM too like LineageOS14.

Its because MIUI is based on Marshmallow and also they have the source code for the kernel so they can tweak it.
LineageOS/AOSP ROM based on Marshmallow provide better battery life than MIUI.
Try "L Speed" (needs root) with battery profile. In addition to that, install Magisk Manager & try "GMZ Doze" module.

The kernel source code is not yet released by Xiaomi. So if you want proper volte support, then please stick with MIUI Global/EU ROM's.

Everything is fine. In my Redmi 4a, performance is smooth.. there are some lags i think because of the animations are not optimized. Battery backup needs to be better.

Bugs that I found in this latest builds is :
-Equalizer apps doesn't work, every changes i did are same
-USB doesn't detected by computer and can't use usb tethering
-Hotspot error and shareit also can't be used
-Default camera app shows camera too dark, need to use other camera app

com.qualcomm.embms stopped working error after every boot. battery backup is very bad. Yes camera app is not good but 3rd party apps solves this problem.

Trying this ROM since yesterday with f2fs and I have to say it's looking really promising considering its alpha status.
Haven't encountered any major bugs and battery life is really good so far.
With f2fs the whole phone seems snappier but that may well be placebo, but it is great that we have the option.
Could use some more customization options, but I'm sure that will come in due time.
All in all, 2 thumbs up and looking forward to the next update

Thanks for th feedback. Aex is in ALPHA state so there are still getting many features added. I have a question to everyone: What do you think about the Bootanimation? Tbh I don't like it and some other on telegram told the same. Would anyone dislike when I change it to Pixel 2 one in Next update?

I think it would be best if you changed it.
This animation feels out of place with the whole Android P aesthetic and is reminiscent of something on the Android froyo days.

The rom is slow and the auto rotate is not working just like pixellauncher

This problem is exested in my variant too (A500h) and the auto rotate is not working in all of them (exept RR and viper)

I reinstalled the ROM with encrypted data and it's still the same. In settings I don't have the fingerprint option. It just happen with this rom, maybe I did something wrong. Can you guys help me out?

Don't setup any screenlock then encrypt the data partition, after a reboot it'll be there. Or use Pitchblack recovery, it has FP scanner fix included as tweak zip
is this the last AEX rom available for Redmi Note 7 Lavender? or is there another option to try AEX on RN7, if possible a Android10 version?

mi max 2 stuck at AEX logo when booting
after flash aosp extended room my mi max 2 got stuck at logo it wont booting even i try 2~3 time after wipe data,cache,also format the phone.
