Can u singnin to Samsung account? If I root with magisk I cant use Samsung account Android others maps like authy 2FA. If I flash shock ROM without root everything works normal. I tried to flash stock image, then sing in to Samsung account and then flash TWRP, rmm bypass, dm_verity and disable encriptation Force, magisk.zip. But twrp cant uncrypt data partition. Do u know how to root and sign in to Samsung account?

This causes simbreak on my A600FN. Probably needs some kind of custom kernel to fix it I guess.

Sorry if I ask ......
Does the root of the a6 + alter the knox counter?
Thank you.

Yes, I have A600FN and Iam on PIE (via odin) . What kind of security problem? My Bank app works without problem (magisk hide), but secure folder, samsung pass does not work. I didnt try it before root so I cant say if it is root problem, problay it is I can sign in samsung account (galaxy store works). Iam not using samsung Health or any pay app (samsung pay, google pay etc.). I am on Magisk 19.1 (update from 18.1) and everything is fajn. SafetyNet check-true.

Iam using only password and fingerprint and this works without problem. Fingerprint and password (or other method) use after root. It can make problem when you do this before root (my experience with S7). I tried Faceunlock and it works without problem. Try using a password instead of pin (it should be not sim PIN, because its security for sim, not phone, only if it is the same number for both) Iam not using sim PIN, only phone has security. If it still makes a problem flash rom again via Odin (restart, make necessary setting, if you want-google account, samsung account), flash TWRP via ODIN, flash magisk via TWRP and then make security. Try with password and then add fingerprint and faceunlock.

Samsung S5 Plus Magisk above v12 boot loop stuck on boot logo

Hi all when flashing any version above v12 on to my phone it gets stuck at the boot logo I am using Lineageos latest version of typing this but if I use v12 its fine but dont pass the CTS and stuff
I have tried to fully uninstall the magisk and reinstall it on the newer version and nothing can anyone help please
I have also fully reinstalled the ROM with formatting everything and it still don't boot
Your bootloader must be unlocked to flash LOS on the S5, right? I have the same setup as you and running no issues at all. Are you flashing the zip after flashing the ROM?

The Samsung galaxy S5 plus (g901F) is different from Samsung galaxy S5 (g900) si magisk work on second one but on the first one magisk v13 never worked and it's confirmed at the lineage OS side. I'm on this case too so I confirm the issue.

So glad someone eles has the same problem and I'm not on my own it just seems weird how the v12 works it don't pass but all loads fine. Let hope they find why and fix it.
Flash your stock bootloader then try flashing magisk
I'm using the stock bootload not changed my bootloader
If it was the bootloader why foes v12 work fine?
No request to have any information about this ?
What do the devs need (other than time of course) to try a troubleshooting ?
How to get this logs/boot image and logs ?
Managed to get it working, but did a clean install and lost it, first time I got it working I was at 19-07-2017 build with magisk manager 5.1.1 and magisk 12, with magisk folder mount and magisk ext SD access modules installed, then upgraded to 26-07-2017 build through official update from settings, and after installation I rebooted the phone into recovery and installed magisk 13.3 (as you know when updating we lose magisk root) and it worked.
Then did a clean install of 26-07 build (thinking it will work) but nope.

I posted a logging of the problem on the main support thread, let's see what happens
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ap...sal-systemless-t3432382/page1765#post73249492
cross the fingers (I hope that you say like that in English)
Fingers crossed they sort it. Would love yo be able to use magisk again
Does anyone here have this issue on a stock ROM or is it just Lineage OS? From the log that was posted in the main support thread it looks like the Magisk installation was successful, but the system hangs on this one line before it can fully boot. I'm not qualified to read more than that out of the log though...
There's been some code added to GitHub in the last few days. Have anyone tried the latest unofficial snapshot? There was a new one built yesterday: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/unofficial-magisk-v10-beta-built-t3521901
Hi we got anymore news on this I have tried the latest beta one and it still gets stuck at booting.
It seems there is nothing to expect from nor magisk team neither lineage team. Nobody seem want to work on this really specific problem.

Lost fingerprint after root-Huawei P10

I used the fingerprint sensor with no problem after rooting with magisk 17.6 (i think). But all of a sudden it wasn't working in any apps, including magisk manager but still works on my phone's lock screen. When i go to turn on fingerprint authentication for say lastpass or magisk manager it just says fingerprint failed without the opportunity to check my fingerprint like it usually does. Updated to magisk 18, same issue. Also tried a complete unroot and re-root and still not working. Even when i was no longer rooted the issue still occurred. Using a huawei p10(vtr-l29) on android 8.0.0.376(C432).
TIA
EDIT: heres the logcat of what happens when i try enable fingerprint authentication in magisk manager https://1drv.ms/t/s!Aqd1jJ_Y63Gpg7d9GM2_6ZRtB3ZXiA

I've got it fixed now, had to do a factory reset and update to 8.0.0.382. After that I had a safety net CTS mismatch so I had to change the device fingerprint to pixel 3 with the props module via shell
I have the same issue, but to be honest i am kind of lost with your explanation- Can you be more specific, please?

Kernal or ROM that hides KNOX Trip?

Hello,
I rooted and installed a custom ROM on my Note 9 a couple of months ago and yesterday I was getting annoyed not being able to use apps like Android Pay, Samsung Pay and Banking apps, So I decided to use Odin to flash the stock ROM back and set OEM Unlock to OFF. To my Horror, I found out the hard way about what a KNOX Trip was. I have no idea how I missed all the warnings on every ROM post about tripping it and not being able to change it back. I can now use my Banking apps, Android Pay and play Fortnite however, Because of the Knox being tripped I can no longer use Samsung Health and Samsung Pay
My Question is is there a way to just install a custom kernel or ROM that tricks apps like Samsung Pay and Samsung Health into working again without installing root and having modifications hidden so I can use my Banking apps and play games??
Any Help is very much appreciated!
After a bit more searching the forums and Google I now understand that no matter what I do I can't get Samsung pay to work which is fine. However any help on the rest is still appreciated! ?

for google pay, some actualy revert to an older version. just search the forums. for me magisk hide works great with my banking app. and for games, im not much of a gamer so i realy dknt know. but again you should try with dr. ketan rom just in case it works. just choose to flash kernel and magisk during setup.( do a clean install so factory wipe in twrp before flashing his rom)
Well i decided to just use Stock Rom and lock the bootloader so at least most of my apps then work. I installed a modified apk of Samsung Health but it doesn't contain the heart rate monitor but I suppose that's fine and I just have to accept that Samsung Pay will never work again
Where can i get the old version of Google pay which works with unlocked bootloader?
Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
S heath can work on a rooted device with a simple change to the build prop , but secure folder and spay remain a dud

Guide: How to root M20?

TOOLS REQUIRED:
ODIN to flash the firmware
MAGISK MANAGER to patch firmware
LUCKY PATCHER for Good lock
INTRO:
Hey guys after a lot of experimenting, I was able to root but every time it had some problems like no fingerprint, not able to log in to Samsung account, not able to set secure lock screen (pattern, fingerprint, pin) at all.
But this time I am able to root with no problem whatsoever.
THE REAL REASON WHY YOU'RE HERE:
All you do have to do is patch AP of firmware from magisk and then flash it from Odin.
⦁ Firstly enable developer options by tapping 7 on build number.
For that:
About Phone --- Software Information ---- tap Build number 7 times.
⦁ Enable oem unlocking which is in Developer Option.
Settings---- scroll down all the way --- Developer Options---turn on OEM unlocking
⦁ Then download the firmware file
( suggestion right here from XDA http://shorturl.at/tACU6 )
CAUTION: It's an Indian firmware make sure your LTE band is supported or
Google like this: Model number with firmware attached. Ex: SM-205G firmware download)
⦁ Extract the file wherever you like.
⦁ Open the folder you extracted files and copy the AP file (AP in filename) to your device.
HOW TO PATCH AP:
⦁ Install Magisk Manager in non-rooted phone.
⦁ Open it
and look around until you see Magisk and Magisk Manager.
⦁ Press Install of Magisk (not Magisk Manager)
⦁ Click Install in the next set of options
⦁ Now chose the option "Select and Patch a file"
⦁ Then, locate the AP from your device which means select the file and press open.
⦁ Magisk does its magic and when it finishes,
the required file is named as Magisk_patched.tar in the downloads folder.
Copy it to your PC
⦁ Download Odin if you haven't and open it.
⦁ Click on AP and locate the Magisk_patched.tar, from wherever you had copied it to.
⦁ Now, let Odin do its job. Phone reboots and you set up your device.
⦁ Boom you are good to go. You might need to manually install Magisk Manager Apk.
PRECAUTION: DO NOT flash TWRP, it complicates things.
Update: Been using the device for quite a while now and am yet encounter any problems.
Update 2: Finally got good lock modules working.
Update 3: Nah nah nah no problems yet.
HOW TO USE GOOD LOCK APPS?
Intro:
You might be definitely aware that those apps are not available at Galaxy Store for every country, so you better use Nice Lock (which is found on XDA) along with its downloader companion app. Make sure to help the developer either by in app purchase or rating on Play Store.
⦁ Install Nice lock from Play Store.
⦁ Download and install Lucky Patcher.
BE AWARE OF MALWARES. DONOT DOWNLOAD FROM ****TY WEBSITES.
⦁ I am assuming that you're here you're rooted if not see above guide.
Open lucky Patcher
⦁ Click on "Toolbox"
and then on "Patch to android".
⦁ Click on the third option and press apply. Wait for a while device reboots.
(If you want, repeat the process for 1 and 2 as well.
You can't do all at once but 1 and 2 can be done at once)
⦁ Install the applications from the link below and boom you're good to go.
Link:https://mega.nz/#!3p1XhC7R!ZIsiJLjJS5g6jT7xaP6gkWgcE0hCRa6vTeVFIj0bvHM
Update: Valid for android 10 as well.
Disclaimers : Try it with this in your mind that I'm not responsible if you damage your device and you'll be tripping your knox security which cannot be repaired. That means even if you unroot your device, knox is gone and will never be back.

Hi! I am stuck as there is no TWRP for Samsung M20 running on Pie (Andrd. 9)
I went through flashing TWRP that's been shared over most pages over the internet.
It did flash, no failures, but still has the same old stock recovery.
But status on the phone says ''Custom''....besides, I cannot get Super SU to work either, as it says root not detected.
The agenda was to install a custom ROM, now I am stuck getting mu phone rooted.
If you've been able to manage, can you please share step by step instructions, with links to the various downloads you did.
Thanks!

Most probably. Trying backing up with Google, Samsung and from the apps separately.
Examples respectively:

Call logs, Bluetooth,Remainders with Samsung
Finally file backup from Nova Backup

Seems like you're RMM locked.
Follow this up.
And the other thing, I don't think there's any Custom ROM available.
Worked like a charm. Thank you.
Finally got time to install, work perfectly likes stock rom, no problems whatsoever.

Finally flash the AP from Odin by selecting on the second from top.
DONOT flash TWRP, it complicates things. Just boot into system after flashing the AP.
Boom you are good to go. You might need to manually install Magisk Manager Apk.
Update: Been using the device for quite awhile now and am yet encounter any problems.
Update 2: Finally got good lock modules working.
Update 3: Nah nah nah no problems yet.
HOW TO USE GOOD LOCK APPS?
You might be definitely aware that those apps are not available at Galaxy Store for every country, so you better you Nice Lock (which is found on XDA) along with its downloader companion app. Make sure to help the developer either by in app purchase or rating on Play Store. Then the other app you need is Lucky Patcher.
I am assuming dive you're here you're rooted, on lucky Patcher -- toolbox --- patch to android --- patch all one by one. Then download all good lock app you want from nice lock downloader companion and make sure it's on Internal storage.
Now the boring part! Create a modified apk of each application with rebuild function of LP.
Now Install and boom you're good to go.
Tools:

Hey guys after alot of experimenting I was able to root but every time it had some problems like no fingerprint, not able to log into Samsung account, not able to set secure lock screen (pattern, fingerprint, pin) at all.
But this time I am able to root with no problem whatsoever.
All you do have to do is patch AP of firmware from magisk and then flash it from Odin.
First download your firmware file and extract the file. Copy the AP file (AP in filename) to your device.

Unable to use UPI based payment apps after installing custom ROM

I unlocked my Bootloader and installed TWRP to install Pixel Experience custom ROM. Everything was working fine until I discovered that all the UPI based payment apps (PhonePe, Google Tez , BHIM ) are now not functioning showing popup that my device is ROOTED. What should I do? Would going back to MIUI help?
Just do a simple search in Google how to use banking app in rooted phone and you will get solution.
This is not related to mm2 only
