I use that one with that setting un advanced settings - Base : pixel2018 HW zsl hdr(need YUV) https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-urnyx05/
Latest one by arnova works fairly well, you need to adjust some settings as mentioned above.
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-arnova8G2/
Night sight does not work, recording video does not work and HDR does not work at all, so very little reason to use the app over the stock camera app.

Hardly wont work, as Huawei give not 100% Access to our Hardware, its sadly restricted to get full potential. But if youre lucky to find a Version, let us know.

I tried it, but it's the same like all other gcams. The app won't start even if given permissions
I was wondering if it's something to do with the camera2api thingy..

Hey guys! I'm not actually a programmer but I do now how things go around here..... So I want to request the GCam mod developer of the Nokia 7 plus to please update the app as it is not working on Android 10..... In fact no other camera app is working!...... Also to say that can you put OZO voice recording on the app as it will completely take me off of the stock camera app...
Dude, the developer of gcam mod for n7+ already switched phone to Pixel. He doesn't owe us anything so if you're really adamant in using gcam then maybe do the same and switch to pixel or something else.
Can anybody provide g cam for Nokia 7 plus in Android 10
@Ahtasam - dude, you have an unfortunate way of expressing a wish as if it is a demand...
Try this: https://www.cyanogenmods.org/downloads/cstark27-google-camera-7-2-014-pxv4-1-1/
It works pretty fine on my n7+ Android 10

Try KillerCam V1. It works on my Nokia 7+ Android 10.
Hi,
When the phone got released, I've heard that EIS was absent for 4k videos. Has it been updated since, or can we expect it to be in the near future? Or is the solution to use the GCam?
It would be a pretty important thing that could decide whether I buy this phone or not. Thanks a lot in advance

I don't think it will be available in future because of hardware limitation.
There's already a gcam mod with working EIS for 4k. Can't give the link, cause I tried so many and can't remember, which APK was the last I installed, but you should find it in Telegram Group of Redmi Note 10 Pro...

It's t.me/RedmiNote10SeriesPhotography but can't say, which APK it is. There are so many. Maybe you can ask there.
You see, I got a pixel 5a that is imported from Japan and in Japan all phones Manufacturers must have shutter sound when taking pictures and you can't disable it.
If I will root my phone I will be able to disable it, right?
No. Only with root - no. It depends on device ID (US or JP). For p5 there is patch for TWRP that spoofs ID, but there is no TWRP for 5a.
May be with some magisk module but i can't find any.
Or you can use modded Gcam.
Thank you.
I will try download modded Gcam. from here

Hi can you share the steps to do this? Also wanting to remove my shutter sound. From your reply, it looks like you need to root it?

No need to root, just download APK of the google camera and use it instead of the one that come with the phone.
That's what I did eventually.

it is impossible to convert 5a sun of the Japanese version into the American version, the difference is in the bands, only use the gcam mod
does the gcam mod has all the features as the built-in camera?
Faced the same issue. Like other people said, removing it from the stock Gcam probably isn't an option. Just use a compatible Gcam mod, I recommend MWP GCam for latest supported version.
As a bonus, you can use Tasker to intercept the double power button gesture to launch the modded GCam instead of stock.

Several Android versions ago I used to use Root Explorer and delete the system sound for camera shutter, which worked at the time. Maybe worth exploring?
I remembered there was a thread in the Pixel 5 community. It provides a way to permanently alter the device model code to disable these Japan-only features. Maybe it works on Pixel 5a?
It may not be simple, but can permanently eliminate similar problems.

FYI.
Turn off shutter sound from pixel bought in japan
Due to pixel was not sold I was buying pixel 5 from japan. I thought if I flash a US ROM the shutter sound (japan shutter sound law) will go away but it seems like it is still going strong even after I used Cambodia sim. It was used outside japan...

Hello all,
I also have a Japan model of the 5a, and a while ago I put together a Magisk module to disable the shutter sound.
Let me know if you run into issues.

Hi @averne_
could you please make the sound camera_click not empty, but with silence and not zero like it is now as it crashes some devices? Thank you! I can't attach the file here, but you can find silent 1sec ogg files online.
I can't make it work - Magisk doesn't allow me to unzip the file no idea why.

Of course!
Camera2api is an android feature that allows having some camera features like the gcam support. Its not fully enabled on default but there is an easy way to do it.
First of all your phone has to be rooted with magisk (magisk is not necessarily needed but it's way easier with it).
Then you have to download an app called camera2api enabler which you can find in the Playstore.
Accept the Super user request and just let the app do it's job.
