[Q] No baseband Problem

dear sir,
I flashed galaxy S with odin 3.1 to jm8...The problem is that my phone is not showing any baseband and imei. Both the fields are unknown...
But here is the cache..Now after this when i apply roms using clokwork recovery ...baseband version is shown and it works normally without any problem..and my original imei is also restored.
Is there any problem with the permissions...
Can anybody suggest any solution for this..

I flashed my i9003 to 2.3.4 XXKPH yesterday.. then i rooted it.. using the guide of "vivekkalady" .. then i flashed the "GT-I9003_PDA-XXKPE-fixed.tar" to PHONE then it faileds of course.. sorry I'm a newbie for instructions.. my bad.. anyway i checked my "About Phone" section and then i saw my Baseband Version went Unknown now and my phone dont recognize my sim now.. can anyone knows how to recover it? can reflashed XXKPH solve this problem ? Please help me.. Newbie here.. XD

Probably a bad or missing IMEI...

The one that you mentioned: "GT-I9003_PDA-XXKPE-fixed.tar" should be put on PDA not on PHONE.
You can flash again the correct PHONE component since PHONE/Modem/Baseband has responsibility with data connection.

[Q] How to restore my IMEI?

Hello everybody,
I just installed a new rom and I booted my phone and it gave me this message: A problem was detected with your device. Your device IMEI number is invalid. An invalid IMEI number could cause network issues including the inability to call emergency numbers.
Does anybody know how to restore my IMEI?

first thing always provide more detail stuuf like what you did...which rom, version so some ones can help you quickly
are you able to connect to network if yes then don't think you need to worry.
if you're are not able typo connect to network then try flashing different modems and even that not solve your offside them go back to gb and then flash the rom after rooting

help IMEI but not signal after flashing a kernel

Hi everyone
I've done a research before but don't find someone with the same problem.
I'm no signal but my imei is here.
I'm using a french I9305 so i downgrade to MB4 still no signal. I was in ME1 and tried ausdim kernel.
I flashed the MB4 with odin and even flashed the param.bin here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1946915
After doing a manuel research in parameters my provider is here and i can see the name but i can't receive or make any call.
Can someone help me?
EDIT: i just choose my provider and everything works now! call and receive thank god!!
EDIT2: no joy after few minutes if someone have a solution

my phone is unable to find the specific network operator K3 NOTE...

i had installed the custom rom : STABLE CYANOGENMOD...
and installed the GAPPS.zip tooo ...... but after that when i rebooted my phone the phone showed no signal bar for my both sims (vodaphone and airtel) ..
i tried to search for network operators but these two were not listed in the list .....
plsssss help me i do not want to go back to the stock rom ....... and i live in INDIA ... my phone model is LENOVO K3 NOTE (k5-a40)...
because of it i cant recieve any calls and messages .........
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED......

Fixing imei issue with lenovo k3 note
I think u have issue with ur mobile imei it's normal thing after flash custom ROM in k3 first of all check ur imei no by dailing *#06# if imei appear then u need to flash into another good ROM if not showing invalid then I can help u to fix this imei issue first do check
