A lot of games turned to gray and can't play, did those games be uninstalled automatically? If not, how to remove them to avoid wasting space?
Also after press main key to exit some apps, they will keep running in the background and consuming battery. I can't go to task manager each time to close it.

I don't see why they would be uninstalled automatically, but why don't you just look under "My Apps" in the Play Store?
Hit the "back" button, not the home button.

This is how android was designed It closes the programes in the background by it self when certain criteria are fullfilled...
Sometimes you can even damage the programe if you force-close it they say...

Some apps don't close after 24 hours. This is the problem.

Those apps not in "my apps", I suspect they left 'dead body' on 'sd card'.
Some app needs to hit several times of 'back' to exit.

Does restarting phone helps

they are left also possibly cached services, but you dont want to go in running applications everytime to kill those.
uninstall reinstall,
if that doesnt work, painful clear data of app, uninstal reinstal.
You can also experiment copying folder with saved games from sdcard to external, doing the clear data, uninstal and then reinstal and copy data back. Android can be oddly buggy with that.

happens to the apps moved to SD. Try a reboot.(fixes most of the time for me). if not then try a dalvik cache clean.. these can be unistalled from the app manager of the phone
Today I tried to install an app I installed by myself but disappeared after 4.0.4 update.it says 'replace'. So during update, they deleted some app and left dead body on sd card. That sucks.

After every call ended, S-Health pops up, after unplugging headphones S-Health pops up, and sometimes varies with other apps when exiting them or doing whatever... wtf. Thought it was me but two buddies with new S5 as well said the same thing. Any way to disable this, I don't even use it and not signed into it. Useless to me, I keep my workout sched for different days in Evernote anway. Praying to the root gods something is figured out to get rid of this bloatware.
Go to settings/application manager and find s health in the All tab. Uninstall updates first, and then hit "turn off".

Thanks. Went through and pretty much did the same for every AT&T and Sammy app showing.
It doesn't remove the apps, but at least it prevents them from running services in the background.

Same issue
I've had this same problem on my S7. I 'Disable' the app and it asks me if I would like to restore it to the factory version to which I say 'yes'. Then at the next update it reinstalls the latest updates and it all happens again. I'm not very tech-savvy so am hoping someone can help. I've now removed all permissions and blocked notifications on the app settings so fingers crossed it stops happening.
Guys, any of you seeing the lag in auto rotate after the kitkat update? It's ridiculous to the point I've just turned it off. I'm talking like 5 secs for orientation to change. Plus when I open the messages app and the phones in portrait, it goes straight to landscape. -I'm thinking because at some point within the last 10 seconds the phone was oriented differently.
Is there a fix? Would rather not reset. ..

I'm not having any trouble with my auto-rotate, I just checked in like 8 apps just to make sure. But I am have a lag issue where when I am in the conversation list in messaging and open a conversation, it lags like 5 seconds until the text bubbles load.
Hmm Def strange. It's the worst for me in the messages app. I was looking on the t mobile forums and there are quite a few complaining about it there.
If it's not affecting everyone I'm optimistic that a reset might fix it...

Issue is definitely with the messages app.

So something very weird just happened to my phone: the Xperia ringtone suddenly started playing on its own, and would not stop.
Restarting the phone had no effect, and no apps were running.
Eventually I reset the app permissions and that seemed to work.
Anybody else experiencing this issue?
Edit: as I'm typing this, the ringtone started playing again.

and now my phone just randomly restarted itself...
is it possessed???
OK, so I've traced the culprit app to Tapatalk.
But even choosing no ringtone for the notifications STILL results in the ringtone playing on a loop.
Is there anything I can do to stop this, I really don't want to uninstall the app.

Sounds like there's a problem with the Tapatalk. Uninstall/reinstall might be helpful
I use an app called Mood for all my SMS messaging and really like it. It is working perfectly on my V40, but every morning at the same time I am getting a spam message in the Messaging app and the notification goes to my smart watch. It is really annoying , but I do not know how to stop it. The message does not come to the Mood app, just to Messaging. There is also no apparent way of blocking it in Messaging. The phone will not let me uninstall or disable the Messaging app. I think I am pretty much out of luck, but though I would ask all you people at XDA. If anybody would have a solution, somebody here would!
Edit: There is a "mute" option in Messaging that I just activated for this message. Did not notice this before. I will find out tom morn if this works!
Long click on the app icon, tap on the i in circle option, go to permissions and untick every one of them. Then, go to storage and wipe data and cache. That should do it. While you're there, you may also want to disable it, undo every access the app possibly could have. Whittle it down to nothing more than taking up space in the system partition

I did all of that, plus installed an app called Package Disabler for LG devices, disabled Messaging in it, and I am still getting this message every morn. The mystery deepens!
Sounds like a 'push notification' from an app, not a regular text message.

Verizon model? Is the spam message related to the app or something else?
If you get another notification, long press it in the notification screen and disable notifications from the app.
Using Android Messaging app and never had this issue.
