can't get the home clock to appear - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

This is driving me mad. I'm trying to add a home clock to my phone but I can't make it appear. I have ticked the add automatic home clock tick box under clock settings but I can't see one anywhere. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Problem dismissing/snoozing an alarm

I have an alarm set to wake me up in the morning. The phone is set to ask for an unlock code, so over night the lock sets.
In the morning when the alarm goes off, there is no way to dismiss it. First I have to thumble with the dark keypad to try and enter a code, then I have to try and press that little alarm icon at the top of the screen, then the screen changes to the large task bar icons, then I press the alarm icon, and then, finally the balloon comes up so I can dismiss the bloody alarm.
Its a great thing though as I am fully awake by the time I've finished messing with it, but then I am grumpy for the whole morning.
How can I get a dismiss/snooze alarm option on the locked screen like I get with WM 5?
Start > Settings > Sounds & Notifications choose the notification tab and in the "Event" drop down window, choose "Reminders"
You should see an option "Display message on screen" tick it.
Should be able to see the "Dismiss" button now when the alarm goes off.
Don't know if this is already "fixed" in the newest rom version but i did this back when running on the old rom and works fine.

Two problems

When I set the clock to display the time on the bar at the top, while in a program, it used to display it with the digital time. Then one day it started showing it in analog form, a small clock.
Also I can't seem to get my alarm to pop open a wake up message on the screen (so I can either snooze or dismiss). I used pop up, but now I have to touch the bell sign at the top (which is annoying when you're tired) and then click dismiss.
Any thoughts? I'd greatly appreciate it.
i also has the clock changed fr digital to analog, how to change it back? anyone can help?
tap and hold on the clock on the top bar and when the menu appears, select digital.
as for the alarm thing, I dunno. I haven't had that problem just yet...Although I'm sure someone round here will have the answer for you.

[Q] Customize Lockscreen?

Just got the Moto X from Verizon (white/bamboo), but having come from an S3, I can't figure out if there is a way in which to customize the lockscreen so that I can see weather and other information simply by touching/waving my hand over the screen without having to unlock the phone? Any advice is greatly appreciate.
You need to turn on Enable widgets. The option is in Settings -> Security.
After that on the lock screen, swipe downward on the clock widget, it will expand it to fullscreen. Then you can tap and hold on the clock to drag and remove it. After that, it will let you add other widgets. You can swipe to the right go to a second page and add more widgets.
I believe that the OP wants to see the info on the active display screen, not the lockscreen.
If it is the same as toe 2013 X you can go to settings and choose which apps you want to see notifications from on the active display.
Only notifications can be displayed on the active display, not widgets.
Waving your hand over the phone activates the active display.

[Q] Settings Crash in Lock Screen Options?

Hey guys,
So I am trying to disable the weather widget on my lock screen, but every time I go the option, it crashes.
Settings --> Lock Screen --> Clock Widget Options --> Weather
As soon as I tap Weather, it crashes. All the time, every time.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

No weather details in calendar

As the title says... The weather details have stopped working /showing in the calendar app.
Also on start up my phone home page background is usually a grey default pattern but on start up each time I turn the phone on the background shows complete black for a split second before the grey image shows up
Anyone know why for these 2 issues?
Thx
Is location enabled? Can't predict the weather without knowing where you are.
Open calendar app's settings
Scroll to bottom, 4th option from bottom, turn on weather forecast.
From what I remember first time setup you need to put in your city.
It updates when you have internet...I think its the same thing which powers the weather widget, someone else will know if this is true
Yeah guys...the calendar settings have location enabled...it says my city...in fact the weather updates were working in my phone up until I installed and messed around with Themer...then they stopped working. I have since uninstalled Themer...and the calendar weather updates don't work.
Do I have to enable 'Location Reporting' in general phone settings?
