Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin

For dual sim - u should have the stock rom is 1'st installed, there both sim are working. Coz RR rom have no "sony modem switcher" & modem configs. Use the stock rom for switch & configure modem.
Before install gapps or twrp or something else(magisk for example) from twrp-zip u have to reboot in twrp again after install rom. It needs for A/B slot switching.

Blobs same as LOS16. It'll be work same as LOS16 (with source what was updated and compille at same time).And I don't want update RR7 for newer source. Only CrDr 5 will be. Coz I have no time and good PC for that. I can update only one...which i use myself. I use CrDr 5.2 (I love some of fueture from LOS like the LiveDisplay, RR hasn't this)

I successfully installed this rom with micro gapps, and it runs smoothly for awhile and then I get a screen flicker that gets pretty bad.
Has anybody else had this? Any ideas? A kernel, maybe?

@noogi this is most likely caused by the applied kernel, based on the Fabian/Offain/33bca kernel tree. This occurs on Rolex parts. Try a muralivijay tree based software like Citrus-CAF 5.0 KeyLime-Pie or AospExtended ROM V6.2.

I used this rom for 2 days now.. It can be used for daily rom on latest build.. The only bug i found is after long screen off.. It will bcome dead.. Need to hold power button 8 sec to restart again..

Wow really?? Im install this rom using batik recovery.. Or it have issue with batik recovery.. I see my device have randon reboot.. But not always happen.. Just once a day..

even i use batik recovery, didn't faced any issue, wipe everything before installing rom, and then gapps.. this is best pie rom i used on my redmi 4a.

Sometimes simcard status rejected. Reboot device is the only way to again enable the sim detection.
Does anyone face same issue?

audio glitching in audio fx equalizer on using Spotify. sound get very low on headphone , sometimes there is no sound in headphone. please fix this issue .
otherwise the rom is very stable , smooth . it is the best pie rom for rolex.

your vendor image is corrupt. flash vendor file from twrp. donwload it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmx1851/files/fastboot_files/
unzip it and copy it to your phone then flash it as vendor partition from twrp.

Did what you suggested.
Then magisk gets installed with showing error "Failed to mount '/vendor' (Device or resource busy)" , previously it was showing and magisk was not getting installed but this time it does after your method.
The problems still reamins are VOLTE not working and No Sound in Calls.
Can you please suggest something?

Thanks for awesome Rom. Had used RR Rom for years on my other phones. Going to install this Rom on my Realme 3 Pro too.
In pie roms, encryption error is generally faced. Phone goes into bootloop or OS gets stuck at startup screen. Kindly suggest steps to avoid this problem.
I faced this problem on LOS Rom. But finally, it was done.
I have unlocked bootloader. Unofficial LOS with Magisk-Canary.

Pity that you decide who is "serious" or not without even knowing them, pity that you "perdict" the future of my ROMs. I have a life, and this is only a hobby for me. No one has ever supported me with anything, and I don't beg for donations or anything else(unlike some others), and I only do this in my free time. If you are not pleased about my work, no one is stopping you from using other ROMs, or building ROMs yourself and maintaining them. Let's see who will do it better.

That is because the build you are using was built by another dev and the latest one is from different Dev. So I think you have to clean flash.

This is an initial build by me, I don't know what did the older build have, so no changelog. I suppose at least you can think of WhatsApp VC lag being fixed and also newer RR source with August security patch.

Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome combination of performance, customization, power, and the newest features, brought directly to your device.​​Many things in previous versions were tweaked with mods and are now included by default in the ROM so please enjoy!​
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed (TWRP or SHRP)
1. Download the latest Resurrection Remix ROM & the latest GApps package.
2. !Read all information from post #2 - the system will not boot if you miss reading it!
3. Boot into recovery.
4. Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution.
5. Flash Resurrection Remix ROM
6. Flash Google Apps package (Optional)
7.Flash Magisk Root (Optional)
The first boot may take up to 5 minutes.
Notice: Make sure you had Samsung's Oreo firmware bootloader and modem before installing this ROM.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix, and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

In order to be able to boot the device successfully, you must to remember something.
Me making this ROM is particularly nothing compared to work done by developers of these devices.
They spent tons of hours to prepare working, stable, and now almost bug-free device-tree, with proper sepolicy to get enforcing SELinux.
Remember about them in the first place in any case - donations, thanks, and even when you think about how our development scene got to the place where it is now.

Backup your PARAM partition first, tested only on A5 - waiting for feedback in case of A7.

I seen a smaller bugs. Screen video recording unstable. I watch it when the screen video is finished, but there is a green screen. Also sound mutes completely after activating and turning off the speaker mode in dialer

Hi can you maybe port this Rom to galaxy a3 2017 using astrakos device tree?
