[Q] getting force force close on some apps like google maps when i start my phone...

hello i am getting force close error on some system apps like google maps...how can i fix thi?do u have to wipe dalvik cache?will wiping dalvik cache format my phone?

which rom are u using?

stock rom
i m using the preloaded stock rom

dalvik wont wipe your phone it wipes the main cache that apps run from.
if your rooted best option would be to clean dalvik from recovery and reboot. it will take alot longer to boot, once booted i would suggest using rom manager and fix permissions. then allow it to reboot, if not reboot it yourself and it should sort its self out

[HELP] Playstore FC [SOLVED]

My playstore keep fc when I launch, download or update app.
Tried
-wipe data and cache
-reinstall
-wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery
My phone is rooted. Anyone can solve this? Or anyone face this problem before?
Solution > Install it as system app.

[Q] Play Store doesn't open(crashes) after upgrading nightly CM 11 build

I upgraded my Samsung Tablet SGH-T849(P1000) from "cm-11-20140207-NIGHTLY-p1.zip" to "cm-11-20140729-NIGHTLY-p1.zip ".
After the upgrade, most of the Google Apps don't work esp Google Play Store.
I previously had "gapps-kk-20140606-signed.zip" installed.
I have tried to wipe data, wipe cache, re-installed Gapps from different versions but doesn't help. I also downgraded back to "cm-11-20140207-NIGHTLY-p1.zip" but no help either.
I also deleted the google account on the tablet but now I cannot add it back.
Am using CWM-Based Recovery v6.0.5.0
Appreciate any pointers.

I took the below steps and it still doesn't help.
boot to clockworkmod recovery
make a backup
format system
wipe cache
wipe dalvik cache
flash rom
flash gapps
reboot

Also noticed that I was out of space and installed minimal apps and am able to open Play Store but it does not connect to the internet - it just goes into a circular loop and finally says connection timeout...

Since you can't really uninstall or reinstall gapps, did you format system, re flash rom, re flash gapps, after you realised the lack of space?

ROM Problem

Welcome.
I have a problem with a custom Rom - SpiritRom.
After updating Google+ crashes error: "Unfortunately, the process was stopped com.android.systemui".
Nothing can be done, the error disappears for 3 seconds and again it appears.
Someone had something similar?
Or is it the fault of the ROM, has anyone installed it?
ps. I cleaned Google+ memory before the update, wipe cache & dalvik after installing the ROM will also be made​​.

several default apps "stopped working"

Hi guys
heres what happened
I flash my device via spf flash tool to stock MM
then flash TWRP_boot_root_s228 then
copy CM13-2016-09-26 build & tron kernel
then I put my device via recovery mode then
flash the cm13 restarted all good then
flashed the tron kernel, all good again
here's the tricky part:
after I install facebook via google play store as soon as it as it is finished installing. there's several apps that stopped working like trebuchet, package installer, calculator and several more and when I check the settings several apps contains 0 bytes, none whatsoever. what am I doing wrong, I have been flashing several times ends up same result.
btw I wipe dalvik cache, system,data,cache,internal storage before flashing.
pls help me guys

There is no need of wiping internal storage
And
The problem you are facing can be solved by changing the rom
Simply download a random Custom Rom and gapps then flash them through your recovery -> this time just wipe dalvik, cache, system and data only.
I faced same problem once and i found solution through this step
