i tested and works great!
slow motion works only in SD resolution, works nice but yeah 480p, i think would be great if you can change the icon for a rounded one.

My test are exactly opposite And in front camera the difference is extraordinary..

Which Goggle camera version are you using ? Also are you trying only normal mode or HDR+ too, tell me tho HDR+ configuration as whenever I select any of them fro the list the app force closes... And if tat settings is off then HDR+ will not work.
Update: got v 3.8b working... With these settings

Yeah but tested with other camera like oneplus camera its working fine maybe incompability with gcam its self that make it force closes checked with logcat there some error see screenshot

Mine work fine with my settings you should try to clear app data of gcam and try again my settings dont use front flash in light condition

Bro did you realy use gcam app from mine its hould be iso bar in the left screen like this check pics slide it to 625-3200 dont use auto it will be errors,force stop your app first

Uninstal first your gcam then install mine dont install over old gcam
Im using cosmic os with that settings and all goes fine

Well, any of the old Gcam not working in 8.1. Only some of the BSG mods working. And back.rider mod also not working in 8.1. In my knowledge its because we have "FULL" camera2 api support. But in Nokia 7+ its Level3 and all the Gcam works fine. Thats a shame

Sorry for late reply. Nokia camera seems to do better in dynamic range but loses some sharpness. GCAM does better in sharpness but photos look a little dark.

Works fine. All working.. Don't expect a special port for Nokia 8.1. Since we don't have development support its not possible. You can use all the port from Poco F1 and Mi 8
