I have a Asus Zenfone Go (zb500kl), it has very poor custom rom support. (at least not so good as Asus Zenfone 2 Laser)...

I have found that the Asus Zenfone Laser has a very similar specification like my Zenfone Go. Same cpu, same ram, storage, etc... Only the camera does not have the laser focus...

Zenfone 2 camera has different hardware--different camera sensor--even a port of the camera won't give a better low-light shot.
