asus zenfone ZE500KL <---> ZB500KL

Hi,
I have posted this to the https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser forum too... Maybe here are more people with the similar interest....
I have a Asus Zenfone Go (zb500kl), it has very poor custom rom support. (at least not so good as Asus Zenfone 2 Laser)...

No LineageOs, nothing....
I have found that the Asus Zenfone Laser has a very similar specification like my Zenfone Go. Same cpu, same ram, storage, etc... Only the camera does not have the laser focus...

Is it maybe possible that the ROMs/Howtos for Zenfone Laser 2 works for my Zenfone GO?
