Substratum

I'm just curious. As far as i find out, substratum won't work on our p9. Or is there a way to make it work on a stock rooted rom?
Or, are there other tools for customising our p9? Ok, i have nova launcher but i wan't to go deeper under the hood than that.

you can use themes...themes are very powerful on EMUI

Yes, I've Nova Launcher too and theming lets you do a lot of things. In fact my screen looks like a google phone.

if you like stock material look search for Pure AOSP theme on play store...

It looks like its staying transparent on Samsungs launcher too.

Is it transparent on settings and other apps? User doesn't have to just be in nova home page?

Give this a try, it works on my snapdragon. Install the apk and reboot, if you don't like it go to menu>settings>apps>uninstall and reboot.

Ah. I expected the color to be also transparent (#00000000) so that content was visible underneath.

Transparent nav bar means it's not visible, the buttons are in the usual place and you can still tap them.

Which navbar app is this? İs transparent in all app or just in homescreen and app screen?

Do you mean in Nova>nova settings>look and feel>transparent notification bar>on ?
Because in my case, it does nothing about the nav bar, it remains semi transparent

Its only on home page. My bad. When in settings, its either white of tge color of the theme.

I can't find this to uninstall under menu>settings>apps. Is it called something other than transparentnavbar?

Mine is transparent on the home-screen, using the stock touchwiz launcher- stock phone too.
I am using a Samsung theme though?
It's called Material_Black if that helps.

I'm using Material black theme and Nova, transparent works in most app fine, some it goes white for some reason. Why does it have that stupid platform under the buttons on the home screen? I hate that. See the pics someone posted on pg 1, it shows that stupid little platform. Any way to make that go away?

I generally use the Google keyboard, but trying the Samsung currently. Was wondering, can the keyboard theme be changed ? Or is it just driven by whatever theme one is currently using? Thanks

the samsung keyboard doesn't have theme abilities. I use swiftkey. 1000s of themes. but you can try 4 different high contrast themed choices in the samsung keyboard options.

You can install a theme from the Samsung Theme store.

you can try high contrast setting for kb. it has 4 choices but swiftkey is supreme.

Already checked that out, didn't like it. I favor dark and black. I miss substratum theming since oreo

Too much hassle using it last I checked . It doesn't stick after reboot last I read.

i love the themeing on it substratum but im sticking with nova.

im sticking with NOVA prime, substratum is too much like rooting attitude and modding.

Hello! Can someone share lg game launcher that comes with pie?

You can do a similar setup by setting up a folder of game icons in a launcher. I don't see this being all that ground-breaking, IMHO.

I've used Nova for my screen management for years. Well worth the purchase. Easy to make folders of icons, screens, custom actions, etc. No root needed for nearly all functions. Kept up to date for Pie.

Since I had the 9.1 iv had the surgestions bar at the top... How the hell do I get rid of it!

I think iv gone through all the settings, can't find anything now.
