Turning on bluetooth freeezes and then reboots the phone - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

When I try to turn on bluetooth (which is usually turned off) everything freezes the moment I 'click' on the turn on/off switch. After the freeze it takes around one-two minutes to restart the phone and then I can normally turn the bluetooth on.
The strange thing is that I can turn it off and on then and it will work, but when I turn it off and leave it off for a few days, and then try to turn it on the phone will freeze again...
My build number is EVA-L09C432B505. Stock firmware, regulary updated.

Did you have the same problem before updating to b505?
Maybe there is a problem related to specific BT headset you are using or so, does it reproduce if you delete all BT connections...
Have you tried Factory Reset and Wipe Cache from Recovery and then turning on BT (without registering yet your BT headset)
You can boot to eRecovery (switch off, connect by USB to charger, press and keep pressing Vol+, press Pow button).
From eRecovery you can opt to (re)Install latest firmware and recovery, followed by Factory reset and Wipe cache

why does the h6515 power itself on?

question, i've got a 6515 and it keeps powering itself on. when i turn it off (with the on switch), it automatically powers on after a few minutes. this drains my battery within 18 hours since the pda function is activated (back light and screen comes on). it keeps powering on automatically every time i turn it off. i disabled all connectivity (no sim present, bluetooth of. so both are disabled). i disabled the gps download applet, so it cannot automatically download. i disabled the active sync setting (After setting it to manually and unchecked all the peaktime settings). i also tried to reflash my current rom (the latest), but it keeps powering on? i also took out all the memory cards and there are no third party applications installed (just did a hard reset). any help is appreciated, or else i will throw the thing out of the window (then i know for sure it will never turn on again)!
mine did the same thing for a while and it was related to activesync and blutooth ativesync. no idea what fixed it tho. sorry
Disable Hardware Buttons
Have you tried to disable the hardware buttons to see if it maybe a button that is getting pressed. To disable them hit Start, goto Settings, tap Buttons, tap the Lock tab, then put a check in the "Disable all buttons except power button" box.

kaiser turning on few seconds after standby

I was flashing rom (stuck at 75%), then I realized that it was not downloaded completly, After that It stuck in 3color mode, so I flashed another rom.
After that, whenever I have ON my kaiser, and I press power button, it will go sleep, but after few seconds it will wake up again. I tried several roms, but same issue, I dont know what to do now, when I will let it to go sleep it wont wake up itself, I have to press power button.
Also I am not able to make hard reset, it just soft reset.
I have tried to reflash spl (3.56 hard2) and few radios too, but it still wakes up when I switch it to sleep by power button

Try a hard reboot, (press the power button until it turns off, then turn it back on)
That's worked for me when I have that issue
You can also try booting into CWM, going to the advanced menu, then "fix permisions". For some reason doing the fix permisions in CWM instead of rom manager works better for me. It might for you.
Getting BT working
OK buffnutz1, here's what I did. I went into ROM Manager and did a "Fix Permissions" and then I did a hard reboot. When I restarted CM7 I was able to get BT working no problem.
I have also bought CoPilot Live 8 and use my BT GPS receiver to turn my Nook into a fun BIG navigation device.

[Q] how to enable bluetooth at tizen first start?

I connected to Kies 3 and updated firmware. My watch had bluetooth off, and on restart with Tizen, the watch is stuck waiting to connect to the phone before doing anything else, but of course cannot connect because bluetooth is off. How can i turn bluetooth on?
Factory reset does enable bluetooth, so all was fixed. At first attempt it did not appear to work, but after a power cycle all went smoothly

I'm in the same situation as you were. Even after I turn it off and on various times, Gear Manager does not find it when scan.

It has been turned off and does not turn on or enter fastboot or Erecovery

Hi, I was doing a backup on the PC, the phone went off and started at Erecovery, I gave it to restart and after several attempts it stopped turning on. I press the volume keys + and - and it does not turn on, it does not vibrate, it does not charge or the LED lights. It only sounds when I connect it to the computer, as if I were connecting a pendrive. Version 9 beta.
It has 3 months of use and has a guarantee, but I wanted to know if there was any way to get it back without having to send it to the technical service.
