Issues with Magisk Moules: Doesnt show Modues, cannot install them - Magisk

Hello Guys,
After trying around for days i decided to turn to a Forum to seek help.
I have the following Problem:
After trying for Ages to install Magisk on my Samsung XCover 4 (because there is no TWRP or CWM recovery for this Phone) i finally managed too find out how to get the boot.img and install magisk and later that day also some modules(For example Smalipatcher). But two days ago there was an option to update Magisk, and i tried it. The thing that happend was that my Phone crashed after updating and i was stuck in a bootloop which was going from reboot automatically in the system recovery/bootloader and so on. I had to reflash stockrom and resetted everythig to the way it was before updating. BUT: there was a Issue. After reflashing stock and rerooting my old patched_boot.img.tar with old magisk (v.18.1) i was not able to install modules anymore. After trying to install Terminal Emulator the Log said:
-extracting module files
-Setting permissions
-Done
And i was curios, because last time i installed it, it was very much longer, and after checking installed modules, it was nowhere to find. Same thing with Smalipatcher. nowwhere to find as well.
What can i do?? I really need to get the old ,,Working´´ Magisk with modules back for some spoofing shenanigans.
i hope someone can help me.
If you need my stock rom or something else to help me, im gonna provide it asap.
thanks

lost recovery/can't boot into CWM/TWRP/Philz

So I've rooted my Z3c using dual recovery method, and later on flashed the Rectify mod, and everything seemed to be working well until I wanted to flash a file in recovery (I know I had CWM working at one point) but it is not working. I found the little NDR tool in the Rectify mod and tired the various recovery options (previously I would just use up on volume key). Well this is when I started noticing it not working and so I tried the manual volume key approach and still it is not working. I installed busy box and have found that can sometimes cause problems with NDR/Recovery however I attempted to uninstall was going to try different location but that's broken now too... I think.
So anyway, my problem is, if I re-install DualRecovery it still does not go to recovery.
Please help me get to Recovery mode so I can reflash rom.
Thank You
Have you installed a different busybox, most others aren't compatible with XZDR and will cause this kind of issue.
I'll tell you what I did, I downgraded firmware using flashtool, followed the dualboot method to upgrade while re-rooting and confirming recovery along the way (this seems to work) then as soon as I install rectify (making sure to flash dualboot flashable zip file before reboot) I'm no longer able to access recovery, not manually or using NDR. I also didn't intall busybox yet.
Oh boy what now, I'm back to square one.
I'm an idiot, what's the rectify mod? Point me to a download link and I'll see if there's something in it that's causing issues with XZDR.
Edit : I see its rectify rom. Well it most likely includes it's own version of busybox, hence the issue.

Requesting some help :)

Hello Everyone!
I am new, my name is rohan and I have my eyes on the Xposed framework. I wanted to download some cool apps but i realized i needed Xposed framework. I own a Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 5.0, It has an ARM32 chip or something like that and i am a huge fan of Xposed now. So i didn't realize until now...I download TWRP, created a recovery and then i downloaded the .zip file for Xposed's framework to be installed. I was using TWRP and flashed the file via recovery but then my phone was starting, remained on the "samsung" (the blue dots like some fireworks) and never went beyond it. Could i get some help on this? Is this the BootLoop?...
Also, I don't know how to recover my phone too, it was also a rooted phone -- i forgot to do a backup for it...So any chances my phone will work again? Currently i have an S6 Edge - SM-G925F. But no plans to root the big boy yet.

First of all: facepalm. A backup is mandatory if you flash any file through recovery. Always, no excuses.
Concerning your problem: you are encountering a bootloop... maybe. How long did you wait until you decide to abort the boot process? The first boot after flashing takes some time. If you have waited more than ten minutes, download the uninstaller.zip from the Xposed thread and place it on your SD card. Boot into recovery via key combo (use Google to find out about this). Then flash the uninstaller.zip and wipe cache&dalvik. Reboot and you might have your phone back running.
Another hint: after flashing the Xposed framework, it is recommended to wipe cache&dalvik.

Maybe i clearly did not explain it, after the flash success from TWRP 2.8.70 i used the re-boot option and then it got boot-looped from there i suppose. And you recovery mode, the recovery mode is still the odin download recovery mode, i ended up restoring the 4.4.2 firmware for now on my S5.
Plus, the issue is fixed - mod lockdown requested.
Closed at OP's request.

Installed Xposed Framework zip, soft-bricked phone :(

Hey guys,
I know I know, I was stupid to try to get this working but I tried and failed. Now I'm just looking to get my old phone back and just leave it at being rooted (with custom recovery installed) and a custom rom. All 3 of these I had successfully done before I installed the framework zip which is where the problems arose.
I'll give you as much information as possible:
Phone: SM-G935F (UK version and on EE network)
Rooted with: CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f
Custom Recovery flashed: twrp-3.0.2-2-hero2lte.img.tar
Other things flashed: UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip
no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip
Custom Rom flashed: KryxxOS-R1.3-G935F.zip
All of these were working and I should have stopped here but with the new Pokemon craze I really wanted Xposed installed to use the modules for it however massively regret it. I wish to get back to this point.
Zip used for Xposed: xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip
Phone initially wouldn't do anything apart from show a battery (not charging (grey icon with lightening in it)) icon when connected to power. And it would ONLY do something when booting into download mode allowing me to go into it. It seemed the custom recovery was no longer working. I then tried everything, flashing back all Stock firmware for my model using ODIN and correct files for my phone (G935FXXU1APF2_G935FEVR1APE2_EVR), that didn't work. Even when installing only AP, all 4 using first HOME_CSC in the CSC and then using all 4 using the CSC file in the CSC. Then I tried using Smart Switch's recovery system, this failed also. Then I remembered hmmm, I can try to reflash my custom recovery using Odin. That WORKED. I thought great now I can do something and sure enough I could wipe my phone and access my files on my phone again when rebooted. After the reboot I tried just re-flashing the SU, the no-verify and the custom ROM thinking it would take me back. It still didn't boot. Black screen nothing. The last thing I attempted was to flash the Xposed Framework uninstaller and used this zip : xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64. I didn't know what this asci files were so I didn't flash them? After flashing the uninstaller, I again flashed SU, no-verify and the custom ROM. Nothing. Still nothing. However...whilst I was typing this, because my phone was connected to my PC and not stuck in DL mode or anything, it's now randomly come up with a battery charge. 3% so far but I want to wait until its higher before I risk trying to turn it on. Could it have been a dead battery all along whilst trying to fix?
I'd appreciate your help even if its to clarify that the battery seems to be the problem. I'll keep you posted with it throughout the night but if it gets sorted tonight it means I don't have to go into the city tomorrow to buy a fix. Thanks to all who post. Ask if you need anymore information.
Chris
hey, how did things go now, is it back to normal... rooted with TWRP and your custom ROM of choice ?

Problem from uninstalling xposed (SOS)

Hi. i'm on Galaxy S6 6.0.1 marshmallow (STOCK ROM) that recently rooted and installed Xposed custom build by wanam.
I regret after finding out that i was unable to use barclays banking app and snapchat;
Unsure if my phone is soft bricked due to my history of actions:
First, i have installed normal xposed that caused bootloop and then proceed to replace it with the custom build version by wanam upon researching in the forums.
Upon finding out that i was unable to use the apps mentioned above after booting,
I unrooted my phone believing it was due to the root without removing xposed. It still didn't work so I rerooted it back just to remove xposed.
After flashing the uninstaller.zip, it went on bootloop again. I tried flashing several uninstaller including the one provided by wanam and it all didn't work.
The only solution i found in the internet was to deleting the file on data/data/de.****xposed via TWRP file manager. That didn't work as well and I panicked when the reboot button in TWRP weren't working anymore so i manually rebooted and proceeded to wipe my data heavy-heartedly which also didn't bypass the bootloop.
Now, i am left with no option and only able to use my newly wiped phone after reinstalling Xposed again.

Yes, although i need to manually reboot it as TWRP doesn't reboot automatically for me.
Would you think that might be the problem?

I don't think so. I would suggest that you ask for help in wanam's Xposed thread as this is the version you installed.

How can I remove SuperSU root on Galaxy S6 ? / if root removed stuck in bootloop

I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S6 using Odin (v.3.11.1) and SuperUser (the name of the .ZIP file was N920_Nougat_Root_SuperSU_No_Kernel_included.zip), and I want to get rid of the root and remove any trace of it. I tried getting rid of the root from the SU app itself and it resulted in my phone being stuck in a bootloop. To get it working again I had to boot into recovery mode (TWRP) during the bootloop so that I could reinstall the SU .zip file, and now it works fine, but I want to get rid of the root access and any traces of it so that I can get the official Netflix app from Google Play (they made it so that rooted users won't be able to download it from Google Play), because most .APKs that I tried are quite troublesome and full of issues. I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to be asking this on, but I am new to this website.
ALSO, it's probably worth noting that my phone first got stuck in a bootloop when I was attempting to install TWRP, and even though the install itself succeeded and TWRP recovery mode was working, my phone had been placed in a bootloop, and if it wasn't for the fact that I had already downloaded the SuperSU .ZIP file on my phone I don't think I would have managed to get out of the bootloop, so I simply flashed the SuperSU to get it working again and out of the bootloop.
I would really love some help here, I really have no idea what to do in order to get rid of both the root and the traces without bricking my phone.
Thank you.

As far as I'm aware LINK TO ARTICLE, Netflix is simply hiding the app from the Play Store if you are rooted. This means that you should be able to download the official netflix app from elsewhere and install it yourself. You can download the latest version here (ApkMirror is a very reputable source).
If all else fails, you can always just restore the phone to the factory set-up. This involves re-installing the firmware and will cause you to lose your settings and files. Follow this guide here: http://rootmygalaxy.net/unroot-restore-samsung-galaxy-s6-back-to-stock/
Can you remove root without deleting or factory resetting your phone? what happen to that? bootloops for me too. had to reroot, but that messed me up and had to reflash firmware lost everything..
