If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

The only fast charge that is possible to activate is the one for charging via pc and that's up to 1000 mAh, actual fast charge via charger isn't possible to be activated
ah ok. But with RR with oreo i think there is the fast charge or not? 10 percent every half hour is very low....no chance to speed up the charge?

Dunno really.

Governors only for XPerience project
You Kernel Developer aren't allowed to use my governors without ask for my permission.
Alessa:
A less aggressive and more stable ondemand modified by klozz(AKA TeamMex). A good compromise between performance and battery. It can be used with the complementary hotplug governor.
This governor is a balance between performance and battery.
XPerience:
Made by klozz (AKA TeamMEX)
The governor aim for an “ideal frequency”, and ramp up more aggressively towards this freq and less aggressive after. It uses different ideal frequencies for screen on and screen off, namely awake_ideal_freq and sleep_ideal_freq. This governor scales down CPU very fast (to hit sleep_ideal_freq soon) while screen is off and scales up rapidly to awake_ideal_freq when screen is on. There’s no upper limit for frequency while screen is off.
This governor is a balance between performance and battery.
HOTPLUG:
Alessa Hotplug:
A simple hotplugging driver optimized for dual to octa core made by klozz (AKA TeamMEX).
When the device goes into idle state, the hotplug is responsible for moving the processes to a single core, keeping off the cores that are not in use.
And it lowers the frequencies to the lowest possible, but without getting to remain in a deep sleep of which it does not wake up.
Note:
Touch boost enable only if you do a hard work if not maintain it disabled .
Alessa Thermal Optimized:
An in kernel replacement for Qualcomm's Thermald. Developed by TeamMEX.

Many thanks for this rom!
I have noticed 2 bugs:
- video recording from Motorola Camera crashes and reboots the device. It happens quite often, so it's not hard to capture the bug.
- same problem with a stock camera app which comes with this rom.
I captured logs just like you suggested, but the page https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=19282#bugReporter is empty. How would you suggest to report the bugs?
By the way, I really enjoy the feedback animation each time I tap on home button in navbar. It makes the rom a bit special
All 7.1.1 rom has same problem, when using stock camera or another camera application, on video recording mode phone restarts and reboots. this is cancer of Nougat roms. that's why i am using 6.0 stock rom XT1095 i have

I have tried almost each Nougat rom represented on this forum and the problem persisted on each of them. According to numerous comments from other members my problem is not that unique. Each thread here contains questions from users like "is video recording working on this rom?"
Anyway thank you for leaving a comment about CrDroid! I'll see how things go with Lineage. CrDroid sounds like an alternative if camera bug persists. Does it support OTA updates by the way?

Cosmic-OS OTA Update v1.1
First OTA is now online and can be downloaded from the software updates section in settings. The device will prompt you to reboot into recovery and will flash the zip automatically.
The system partition will be wiped so you might have to reflash any of your mods again. You can place your mod's zip files inside InterStorage/OTAUpdates/InstallAfterFlash/*.zip to be flashed automatically while the update zip is being flashed.
Please make sure that you're on Mohan's 3.0.2 twrp recovery. The 3.1.1 recovery is a ported one and fails to boot into recovery after update.
Changelog:-
v1.1
Updated kernel to 3.18.45+
Compiled kernel with Linaro toolchain for improved performance.
Update and cleanup of OMX blobs.
removed derped drm blobs.
Fingerprint response time and detection improvement.
Added Expanded Notifications feature.
Minor improvements.
Synced upstream changes.
Note: The upstream kernel is still kind of experimental, so if you face any issues report over here.

Wow great man!!! Will install it now......
Is the camera flashlight working?
NOTE:
The new upstream kernel turned out to have some CPU freq issues. The cpu clock freq seems to be running at higher frequencies all the time. This is causing a slight battery drain. This will be fixed in the next OTA. Till then you can flash the ZeroAddition kernel the best alternative available for now. :good:

This rom is just amazing . The new update is really lit. I can already see the improvements in smoothness and battery.
Please make it official

Battery is fine, no problem with that.
About encryption.
I myself don't use it.
However you will probably have read about it in several threads that it is often a problem. It should work in crDroid BUT, is it also working for our beloved osprey??
I would appreciate it if you would test and report. Others can have profit from your testing.
The only thing is that maybe you have to dirty flash the rom, so be prepared and make a backup.
And thanks for your feedback.

The flickering in the UI can be fixed by reverting this commit: https://github.com/crdroidandroid/a...mmit/8194bddad103d30d47cbc5aa34cdf5b268f9f867
It started happening in Havoc 3.5 and I found that this was the cause.
New build: crDroid v6.6 - 20200516
The screen stutter has been resolved.

Probably not anytime soon. I don't really see any advantage from making it official.

Dirty flash from previous build is fine if using the vanilla build, if you want to switch to the gapps build then a clean flash is required
Clean flash guide:
- Install the latest custom recovery
- Format data
- After formatting data, you may have to reboot again to recovery
- Wipe system & data & cache & dalvik cache
- Install ROM
- Reboot

thx! I had using this rom, feeling so good!
Amazing Rom, work very fast and well.
For now the only thing I found is : is you phone is power off and you charge it you don't see any animation about the battery levels... Only black screen.
The levels of bright is not working well.
To slow in automatic change.
For gaming I tray CALLOFDUTY and work very well.
I love this ROM.
Thank you
Is this rom good as a daily driver?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into the problem with automatic brightness and the offline charger.
Carl
I found an issue in my daily use...
after switching the dual sim cards data using, the newly using sim's data become very very slow, about 50kB/s
so I have to switch the card's APN setting to reset data's speed
In my evoX rom and officail MIUI using , I never experienced it.
I found some wrong with the app Pinterest.
All ways ask for user name and password.
Then every time that I click to see some image apen the WEB browser.
I tray to download Pinterest from differents sites and is the same issue.
. .......
Other issue is when you write to fast or move your home screen to much.
I'm getting screen LAG and some times just won't work well.
.....
I'm testing games with this Rom
CALL OF DUTY : working perfectly with high settings and MAX fps, I get my phone warm but perfect. Better than MIUI EU BETA....
PUBG : is not working well, to slow with any settings. Is impossible to play like that.
Real Racing 3 : work well, no issues.
Gear.Club : no issue
Sky : work well to.
Genshin Impact : Perfect with MEDIUM Settings.
I'm gonna continue testing.
I use more than 100 apps
Thank you, for this fast ROM.
Will be any Updates in the Future ?
Thanks ª!~
I found issue with FULL screen gestures.
Some times the gesture BACK won't work.
With any app or game.
So any update? Or something?
Thanks
I found issue
When I pull down the status bar, FPS is very low.
This problem has been bothering me all the time
