First time installing crDroid to your I9100G, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery(Switch off, then hold Power & Home & Volume-Up, release Power when you see Samsung logo)
-Wipe system,data,cache,dalvik cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip[Open Gapps Recommended](optional)
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
- Copy crDroid ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash crDroid zip
- Reboot

tested it a day now. no crashes, WhatsApp is good with this rom.
VoLTE is working in Germany.
Cant say much about battery life. At least it has no issue during screen on. Battery is same like AEX 5.1 I guess.
So far no issues. Good rom

I don't use WhatsApp, but Google voice works. So I don't see why it wouldn't. I still haven't been able to use the battery properly in the real world yet, but it should last a full day at least.

I use o2 as Provider in Germany. Contract, no prepaid.

Updates are scheduled weekly. Next update January 20

Excellent rom, the camera is ok and the battery life has been optimized. Unfortunately u-healt does not work

12/05: I fixed NFC and it work flawless on F/Y variant, unhopefully it doens't work on FL variant. I am investigating .

I am starting to use Oreo blobs, It helped me for nfc and overall smooth, but Not kernel yet,

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.

@malinathani Since we don't have a cache partition since it's an A/B device, would you mind deleting it from the instructions in the OP so people aren't taking any extra unnecessary steps when flashing?

Working pretty well. Adaptive brightness seems a bit janky though. Seems to flicker at the same brightness level in the room.

Well that seems weird, I'm not facing anything like that.
Actually, smurf's kernel has a flicker free mod (which is off by default)
Try using that and see if the issue is there.

You need to ad magisk before boot back into recovery otherwise it's good night to be encrypted....

This rom is seriously amazing. 2 things though, is there OnePlus like gestures? I couldn't seem to find them. And when trying to use fling gestures, system ui kept crashing

Love the ROM. Haven't found any bugs. Good stuff.
Although I just noticed my battery... Down from 100% to 72% with only 9 min SOT
Google play services is the culprit according to battery stats. It's taking up over 20% of battery..

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

The clock can be set in the RR setting. Turn off the auto hide mode

The only fast charge that is possible to activate is the one for charging via pc and that's up to 1000 mAh, actual fast charge via charger isn't possible to be activated

ah ok. But with RR with oreo i think there is the fast charge or not? 10 percent every half hour is very low....no chance to speed up the charge?

I use stock charger and it charges in less than 2 hours maybe ur USB port/charger/cable is damages

I can reach 1700mAh at most and it says fast charge

with this rom???

thus th emaximum level brightness with this rom is a bit low compared to miui too...is there any chance to improve it?

Dunno really.
RR team just said that you can do that instead of OTA. Anyway I don't really care about that.
