help me, bad key problem - Moto E5 Questions & Answers

Hey its my first time uploading to XDA. Its not my first time watching this forum or using the resource that it provides but i need some help over here.
I was trying to install TWRP on my MOTO E5 PETTYL and it seems that that the twrp file that i download was for MOTO E5 JAMES. Im very noob on rooting, unlocking bootloader and installing new recovery partitions, its my second time doing it but the first time that i have problems.
Long story short i cant boot up my cellphone because i install a recovery that was different from the cellphone and i want to restore to full factory mode (OEM locked, original recovery, etc). Is there a way to find the original boot img and what do i have to do to restore it? is it going to work like before?
Sorry for the broke english
i really appreciate any help that you guys can give me

[Q] Moto G stuck after flash

Hello everybody. First thing first you should know that I am a noob. You will see why in the explanation of the problem. Then...
I have upgraded my moto g to lollipop via OTA (xt1032 8GB). Didn't like it so I tried to to downgrade to kitkat. Success, but I got the screen flickering problem so I was looking for a way to get back the previous bootloader. I even tried to flash to cwm recovery. And that is the point where I did the (probably) most stupidest thing. Thinking that I could flash back the stock rom, I've wiped out everything with cwm recovery. Now I'm stuck, have nothing in the moto g except the bootloader screen (41.18), I panicked and I flashed the stock recovery with the moto tool, but I think I've worsened everything. Now it's the time for laughing. Ok I deserve it. The question is: can I do something to get back my moto g? I don't care if with lollipop (I will keep it as long it works), I'm in total panic. Now even adb doesn't recognize the device.
Thanks for reading all of this. If you guys can help it would be wonderful (don't be afraid to ask something in return because I will do almost everything! ).
Greetings.
Freddy.
P.S. There are surely problems with my english. Sorry about that!
Ok found a topic (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/unbrick-method-t2794271) about how to unbrick and following the procedure. Flashed the Philz recovery with success. Now I'm following the OP procedure. In a few minutes the results...
After a few tries and a lot of strange errors that I decided to ignore I've been finally able to get kitkat back!!! Ok the screen is flickering like before but it doesn't matter. Learned a lot of thinks and discovered lot of useful tools!
Bye!

Not a good idea to downgrade a moto g and your posting in the wrong forum , you need to post in the first gen forum your posting in the 2nd gen 2014 forum. I'd redownload the stock lollipop ROM and flash using fast boot
http://www.filefactory.com/folder/c6cdedc45a775d27 find the one that corresponds to your model and carrier and country.
Thanks for the advice. In the end I've updated to lollipop because I was tired of all the "bugs" between the new bootloader and kitkat. Sadly I was unable to find a compatible version of the xposed framework, but I think I will just wait for the stable! .
Thanks again!
Freddy.

Need help with missing OS on Criket Desire 510

Hello, I recently helped a fiend out with rooting his Desire 510 and all went well until recently when he decided to try and recover the phone to a previous state without root. He ended up deleting the OS off the phone and lost his backups aswell. Anyways, I've been trying to recover it for him but have had no luck; I have tried to flash a recovery .img file onto but I don't believe that will get the OS back, as it didn't seem to help. The next step I tried was locking the bootloader and then using HTC's EUU recovery software for the model but that failed to recognize the device. So any information and help is very much appreciated, and thanks in advance. ( I will also attach some shots of the phone in recovery mode).

I wonder why the RUU did not work even though you locked the bootloader. I can't think of any other reason it would fail. I have used it when I deleted my OS and there was never any problem.
You're right, the recovery.img will not get the OS back unless you use TWRP.
You should unlock the bootloader, root, and flash TWRP. Then download, extract and install the backup from here.

stock recovery for vzw?

Hello everyone. I don't know a whole lot about HTCs, but I want one badly after rooting one for a friend. I have another friend that tried to root a 626 verizon version on 6.0 with a tutorial on the HTC site for a different phone (he didn't ask me, I assure you and I gave him a scolding) and his recovery is broken. He's not sure if he fastbooted TWRP onto it or not but I think he may have without unlocking the bootloader. Is there possibly a stock recovery that he could fastboot back on there? His system is still booting and adb and fastboot are still connecting, I just don't know if there is a stock recovery for his and since it's not mine, I don't want to spend hours looking. Also, he doesn't have a lot of understanding yet as this was his first root attempt so I'm asking for him. Thanks so much for any help with this. Any Android down makes me sad. I told him if he wants to root get something non-verizon. He just ordered an unlocked S5 and I told him thats a very good place to start. But, if possible, I hope we can get his HTC right again. I also told him not to factory reset EVER if we can't get his recovery back. Thanks so much for any help.

Where to find stock boot image LG G4?

Hello,
I have everything ready to install Magisk on my LG G4 LS991ZVI and I have ready many tutorials and believe I am clear on the steps but I am using the method without TWRP, where the Magisk manager does patching of a stick boot image and I cannot find what I believe to be a legitimate stock boot image anywhere on the net! (I'm sure I just dont' know where to look)
Anyway, this is the first time I've ever modified a phone so forgive me if this is a really simple question, but if anyone could tell me where to download this image or send it to me I would be very grateful!
OK, thanks a lot for reading this and have a great day!

Mi Max 2 stuck at bootloop!

Hi Im feeling really bad to my stomach as Im typing this.
I was trying to enable camera 2 api and Dolby atmos.
I flashed TWRP and booted into it (so I could install zips and for it to go back to stock recovery afterwards so I can get OTA)
I tried installing the camera 2 enabler but it didnt work, the Dolby one did work though.
But when i hit reboot it just stuck on that Mi logo, please please help!
I tried going back to TWRP and flashed the TWRP image as recovery (I figured it didnt want to boot because it didnt recognize the recovery) but still nothing.
I really dont want to have to erase everything. I didnt do a backup :crying:
Im running the latest stock global rom btw.
Edit2; Bootloader is unlocked, the phone is NOT rooted.
Is there a way I can prevent data from being lost? I can enter TWRP and I see there is a "BACKUP" option, can I maybe save some of my data? Im guessing my most important stuff is my Whatsapp convos and pictures. I have a USB OTG I can connect to it too.
I am desperately updating this thread in hope for someone to reply and searching MAO for any solution
UPDATE, I did it!
If anyone is as NOOB as I was, please, its even written on the TWRP WEBSITE WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE THING. YOU NEED TO DISABLE DM-VERITY. THIS IS EASILY DONE BY FLASHING LAZYFLASHER!
Im almost embarressed.
Dear Mod, feel free to do whatever with this thread, even though you guys didnt have the time to help it still felt comfortable knowing that you are out there somewhere caring. <3
