Is my bootloader locked? and is there a way to tell?

is my bootloader locked?
i just bought a Galaxy Note 3 sim unlocked at&t 4.4.2 sm-n900a

i already rooted it and want to know for sure before i throw on Safestrap so i don't brick my new phone.
i want to flash a rom.
Also my note 3 is asking me to update the firmware if i do will that lock it or unlock the bootloader if it is or isn't?

The bootloader on the att note 3 is definitely locked and cannot be unlocked which also means you must use safestrap. Twrp is not an option with a locked bootloader.

what version of safestrap 3.75?

Unfortunately, I don't have access to an att note 3 so I can't make any recommendations about safestrap. My note 3 is the n900w8.

No, an s9 ROM cannot be installed to the AT&T Note 3 if it has a locked bootloader.

Note 8 N9500 root and tarp possible?

I bought the blue version. Could someone confirm if root and twrp is possible for Snapdragon N9500 version?
Also any decent ROMs for this phone

This is what me2151 answered to my question if the N9500 is supported or not and it is not supported and no plans to support it. Only US based Qualcomm devices are supported by SamFAIL root method.

It's possible. I unlocked my BL with this file. Currently waiting for people to make 3rd party roms for it.

Knox was tripped to 0x1 as expected... Magisc is running pretty good except the know issue that it sometimes disappear and i have to restart so it is "rooted" again. Only thing that im not happy about is that i have a badge notification on the settings icon because device is rooted and i dont know how to remove it without disabling the badge app, here are my screenshots

Hi there, I rooted using the same method but unfotunately every time I have done it when I login into my google account the phone sofbricks with the FRP lock and nothing else can be done, just reinstall the stock rom and start again all the process. Can somebody help me to understand whats happening and how to avoid it? The device is the Note 8 N9500

[HELP] My Note8's Storage decreased from 128GB to 32GB after installing New Firmware

I need some help with my Note8. I installed the PHE (Spanish Unlocked version) to my Mexican Note8, mostly because of the **** the carriers usually add to the OS.
I verified the storage and now it says my phone only has 32 GB. Originally it had 128 GB.

Similar thing happend to me, after the flash just do a factory reset and it should clear up your partition issues.. Got mine from 32gb back to 64gb. Good luck!

Note 8 kills the 7.....just does...i really liked the 7, but it feels clunky already in compare to the 8...the 8 takes a little bit of time to embrace coming from the 7 as far as fingerprint scanner...but that passes too this phone is awesome

It's an amazing upgrade. I totally recommend it. I owned a Note 7, and was really disappointed on Samsung because of the recall. I had to stick up to the S7 Edge... And, though it is a good phone, it's not what I was looking for.
No phone can compete against the Note 8.

Ok, I already ordered a 128 GB black note 8! I am expecting it to arrive on Dec 9th

Is there a clear guide available yet that works for Root for Boost Mobile moto e5 plus ?
Does everything work after root i.e. tether / gps/ finger print etc?
I have the e4 plus but this looks like a good upgrade.

I used the guide on here for E5 play/ plus which unlocks bootloader and then fastboot boots into TWRP to do a back up so you can patch the boot.img with magisk and then flash the patched boot.img with fastboot.

No I did it the hard way, easy way involves flashing the patched boot img the op provided and I believe it won't work on all E5/ E5 Plus variants.

cool thanks. just wondering.. how do you like the phone after root etc? I have the e4 plus with OrionOS custom rom and I'm not sure how much of a upgrade it'll be. Right now the phone is $119

The E5 Plus is a really awesome phone, considering what I paid for one on Boost Mobile using their fall promo code I can't praise it enough. Others might have a better screen, others might have a faster processor, others might have a better camera. But THIS phone hits all the key areas at a BETTER value than anything else I looked at. The Boost E5 Plus also gets the snapdragon 435 octacore whereas many other variants I saw only have the 425 quadcore. And then there's Turbo charge out of the box, a crazy 5000 mAh battery, and a 6" hd+ screen. All for roughly $150-180 minus promo codes. I went out and bought another just because.
I also should note I'm a HUGE Motorola fan although I'd still buy this phone if it was made by someone else. But knowing it's from them I'm that much happier.

Post some screenshots! How's it feel?

I got it last night as well. It feels different, runs smooth. I need more time to tell if battery is better. I'm mixed on the new UI...but it will grow on me. I haven't taken any pics with it yet...but the app looks different so I am sure there are changes. I love having system wide dark mode now. Overall it is an improvement from a short test drive.

Not yet that I'm aware of I believe Xsavi or someone else is trying to pull the KDZ...but IDK how that went..

Has anyone with AT&T who did the unlock via the 9008 mode try this update? Right now my update fails, logcat shows a CRC error because boot_a was modified. I assume if I wanted to apply this update I'd need to restore boot_a and laf_a to the original copy. Then update, then unlock again via 9008 mode. Any issues with the unlock method and Android 10?

Got the T-Mobile update yesterday. The Settings page is completely reorganized and more logically arranged.
