Maybe all ur ports is USB3, you can check the bios either, and even using a USB2 hub would be an option.

Mi4 Hard Bricked No Fastboot,Recovery,USB

Hi,
So I flashed Leaked MIUI 7 MM on Mi4 extended partition via TWRP 2.8.7.0 After successful flashing. I reboot phone just went off Display never turned on after that but at that time my device was being detected my PC as QHUSUB_BULK. Now nothing happens when I connect it to PC
If nothing works the last option is to wait for battery to get drained completely, which should get back ur fastboot probably (?)

push power+(volume-) keys at less 2 minutes, when the PC detect it as QHUSUB_BULK, install the "Qualcomm_QHSUSB 9008" driver, the "QHUSUB_BULK" should changed to "Qualcomm_QHSUSB 9008" , then use Miflash, flash the stable or develope package for Mi4, It should work again.

No, You don't need any drivers for it. MiFlash will automatically detect it.

Mi5 hard bricked?

Hey Guys,
yersterday i installed thrue TWRP the LineageOS + LOS Root + Gapps. Everything was fine... till today.
I would like to enter the bluetooth settings. After then, the display recognises no touch, went black. First i could restart the phone. After restart i was going to bluetooth again. But, the same... After that, no more response from the phone. No, Battery LED, No Fastboot, No Recovery. The phone seems dead.
When i connect the phone to PC there is a "qualcomm hs usb qdloader 9008" device listed but no more. Miflash recognises no phone, adb is not showing.
What can i do? In which state is the Phone? EDL?

Going black for no reason is a common problem of Mi5.
It's in EDL mode.
Flash a fastboot rom and you will be okay to go.

Ok, thanks!
How can i flash a fastboot rom? Miflash can not find the Mi5! Have i to use a another Miflash Version?

You don't need to flash anything. Just disconnect and reconnect the battery. 2 minutes job. You can find a tutorial on YouTube.

But after then, the warranty is lost...
How often does the Mi5 land in this mode? This is already a risk because of the use in the long term.

I figured that opening up sealed phone might make people scared or worry for their warranty.
Fastboot flash is easier sometimes maybe?

In my case it happened very often on stock Lineage OS kernel. Never happened on Lineage while I was on DragonXia kernel or on MIUI.
OK! What can i do? Is it possible to switch the Kernel?
I have good news! Phone works after disconnect the battery. But this is not a solution.
I had after rebooting to ROM the same issue when i go to bluetooth settings. BT seems not working probably. If i go twice to BT settings the phone will brick.

I had made a new installation with lineage OS without Root and mini Gapps. Now it seems, that BT will work normaly.

Question Cannot detect device in fastboot/mi unlock

Hello,
Just got my new Mi 11 Ultra. Trying to flash Xiaomi.EU ROM but unable to unlock it because the phone isn't detected by mi unlock tool. ADB/fastboot list devices turns up nothing as well.
Tried:
miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.24
miflash_unlock-en-5.5.1224.27
Out of ideas, suggestions appreciated. Suspect it's a drivers thing but my zip folder has no MiUsbDrivers.exe
Thanks!

No such file in the package either.
Package was downloaded from here:

Absolutely nothing driver related in the zip.

Tried all ports, swapped a couple of cables too. Cables all work with my old P30 Pro. No other PC to try with. I can also copy files to the device but it just doesn't show up in fastboot. Is it possible I have a faulty bootloader?

Thanks for trying. Do you know of a way to at least switch to global rom without going through fastboot/flashing? I remember xiaomi used to have an app that allowed you to switch on the go.
No because you need fastboot to use Miflash for example ..when you do get fastboot to work... Dont forget to disable lock when switch from CN to global rom
Hello, did you try enter in recovery mode in your windows pc?
hold shift > restart pc > choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Choose the F7 "Disable driver signature enforcement". Now try again detect your mobile.
Using my wife`s notebook i have to do this all the time to detect my mi 11 u, if i use mine, i don't have this problem, i just don't know why this happens, but worked for me
I had this issue, when you go adb devices you get empty device list.
HOWEVER!!!!!!! FOR SOME REASON, YOUR DEVICE IS CONNECTED AND DETECTED. Just keep going with your commands. It will go ahead without any issues.
It is a common scenario that also occured with a few of my friends and people in here.

I had the same problem with adb today because I did not use the original xiaomi usb cable. When I changed the cable to original adb worked fine.

Bricked flashing custom ROM then locked the bootloader

I made a mistake while I was flashing a custom ROM PixelPlus UI in my device Redmi 9
after seccessfully flashing it I locked the bootloader and now my doesn't turn on either going in fastboot mood.I need help to fix it..plz plz plz
Hi, make sure that your battery is full, then hold VOl + and power key together and connect USB cable and see if is detected. The other things is to flash with edl mode but you need testpoint and flash tool like MRT... See over the internet for your model...
Vol+ and power key doesn't shows any sign.
Try then with VOl - and power but keep pressing and plug usb cable, if that doesn't work you need edl flashing....
Does edl supports in MTK processores?
Hi, sorry I mixed your device with Mi 9 model.... For MTK chipset you need BROM mode, so try to hold both VOL + and VOL - and plug usb cable and see if is detected... If it doesn't then send your device to nearby service center in order to flash with service box...
It shows something in ports......and few seconds later it goes away.
Good sign, then follow this flashing... use only if you have same chipset!
Mine is Mediatek G80 / MTK6769

Have your issue resolve and if so what exactly have you done, one of my friend done the same and facing the issue.
You are screwed if you locked the bootloader. Nothing you can do. At all.
