I have a moto g6 play xt1922-7 boost/sprint phone. How can i tell if its a jeter or alijeter? Also if its a jeter can I flash an alijeter rom?

Well, first, it's just ALI and JETER.
ALI is the base model Moto G6. It is overall faster and the screen resolution is 1080p. RAM/ROM goes up to 4GB/64GB.
JETER is the Play model of the Moto G6. It is slower, has a screen resolution of 720p, but has a larger battery. RAM/ROM goes up to 3GB/32GB.
I would advise against flashing an ALI ROM on a JETER device and vice versa.

Just to be 100% certain, these are not interchangeable, correct? I know i sound like a newb asking this, but I have been finding a pretty even mix of Owens and Nicklaus versions of TWRP for my version of the Moto E4 Plus from Boost. I also want to make sure of this for when i decide to root my girlfriends Moto E4 from MetroPCS, as the only version I have seen so far is Woods.

Hello There - Dont understand the different versions of the phone, or find stock firmware for xt1922-2
When i boot into bootloader it says JETER on the bootloader, but looking in this forum, ALJETER is the firmware for g6 play, there is simply nothing on the internet for the g6 play

There appears to be 2 stock roms for the g6 play. Aljeter and Jeter. My boost variant uses Jeter and I can't find the stock rom for it anywhere.

not true i got moto g6 play ,,,bootloder says at the top its a Ailjeter, not jetter

if thats true then whys mine say Aljeter when i boot in fast boot, but people are saying the G6 play is jetter
Very confusing. I got UK XT1922-3 variant and cannot figure out... Flashed JETER Stock FW from mirrors.lolinet.com and it boots but radio and camera non-functional... will try ALJETER.
Any clues are welcome.
EDIT. ALJETER worked, despite it shows as JETER in bootloader. Had to use previous FW release: OPP27.61-14-4. Apparetnly some files were missing in OPP27.91-87 (from mirrors.lolinet.com). Phone is now downloading OPP27.91-46 via OTA.

I believe boot is cdma use the sprint firmware. just like i need att&t for the unlocked 1922-9 becouse it gsm. https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/jeter/official/Sprint/

Possibly if the bootloader was unlocked.
Flashing different software channel firmware on a device with a locked bootloader can result in a non working device.

my moto e5 plus identifies itself as hannah even though it should identify as rhannah. also installing roms for the rhannah doesn't work due to this miss identification. any help?
