Hi, I just bought a tripod for my P30 Pro, the Huawei AF14 and I'm worried about the clip, it's my first tripod and in my opinion seems like there is too much pressure on the phone, specifications says that the maximum clip distance is 85mm but I feel like it's too tight for my phone. Is there any danger to use this tripod? Is it possible to damage the phone's body? I know it's a stupid question but I want to be sure that it's safe.
Thank you
Nobody?
I don't think it would damage the phone...did you try using thinner protective case on phone while using tripod?
I'm using the tripod without a protective case. Huawei told me that it's ok to use it because it's for all of their phones.
Better buy a sturdy and better tripod. There are lot of choices in the market

I'm looking for a high quality selfie stick for my travels (not those chinese $5-7 ones). My needs:
- Durable (must feel solid and can support heavy phones with ease)
- Big slot for phones like the Note 5
- 3.5mm cord variant is preferred (bluetooth is okay)
- Good grip material is a plus (not required)
- No need of any extra flashy features
Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks in advance!
Bump?
Get a monopole and a phone clamp with a normal tripod mount.

Sturdy branch and duct tape
I got this one and reviewed it from stalion. It was actually really well constructed and held the phone with a TPU case easily. It is bluetooth, although I think they may have a wired version too.

I too am searching for a something to increase the grip, but so far could not find anything
I don't think that's possible. unless they make a wide place for the camera. I'll do some searching
Edit: Ok this the case i found so far Hard Case and This
I couldnt find anything anywhere. I ended up making a holder from my g3 otter box that mounts to my tripod so i got a tripod setup now and makes pics come out 10 times better
I just posted a video.. My thoughts on the AOCHUAN gimbal how well does it work on the note 20 ultra I would love your feedMod Edit
I don't think the gimbals are needed at all. Especially in my case - I used to case covers, so no gimbals/pods can work with the cased phone, so I need to bring the phone every time and install into gimbal. Also they take a lot of space and you obviously have to take it while leaving home etc.
I guess the proper solution will be either gopro (better) or dji pocket.

Thanks I sold the gimbal
I sold my gimbal
I use DJI4.
There is a magnetic sticker. This works when you have a case.
However, I just use the naked device with it.
I wish Gimbals have an option to integrate with the default camera.
The camera app that comes with the Gimbal app is very limited.
Hi all,
I tried the Razer Kishi controller on the S21U, and it works, and better with a small surgery on one of the sides (for the camera hump).
I still think it's at the limit and probably could be better, but good enough.
It really is great to use for games that really can take advantage of it, and also Steam Link.
The accessory is well made, the shoulder buttons a little mushy but still, does the job well
Ah I was just looking at this the other day. As I was unsure whether it would fit I ended up going with a clip for my xbox controller. Now I might order a Kishi though! How do you like the build quality?
In the UK, EE actually offered these as a part of a deal when signing up for the S21 Ultra. I've not tried it on my Ultra yet but as @kipue says its a tight fit. I have tried my Huawei P30 Pro in it and thats a good fit.

Build quality is overall good.
It feels solid and well designed. As I mentioned, some buttons are a little too soft, no real feedback on press but it is OK.
Nice device, but if you would like to get it for a specific game, make sure to check that it supports controller properly first, that's my advice
Looking at some alternatives, the Gamesir x2 looks pretty good. Anyone know if the s21 ultra will fit?
Did you have to remove the rubber insert?

Nope. To be more comfortable, I cut a little piece of it on the side of the camera module. Not strictly necessary though.
I'll make a picture for you when I get back home.
So here is the little modification I did.
Basically made the part circled a little deeper so the camera module slots in better.
It's then very snug and everything is level. The plastic is surprisingly soft so it's easy with a simple pair of scissors.
The more I use the thing, the more I really like it!
I am planning to buy the X30 Pro from China at around 3000RMB. Is it worth it or should I push my budget (which will be really hard for me) and go for X40?
I don't bother too much about the cameras.
Some youtube reviews indicate the metal edges are too sharp, like razor edges. I am really concerned about this though as I want to use my handset without any case. I don't want to compromise even a little bit about in-hand feelings.
Please share your experiences in this regard.
Thank You.
Wouldn't waste your money, these phones are junk.
Global firmware standards I really like this phone overall (I haven't used Chinese firmware) However, it's a disadvantage that the firmware update is later than other companies, and if you use it without a protective case, the grip of this phone is the worst of the worst. Fortunately, the basic quality of the case is good
