Learn to read, its not hard. I'm sure there is threads already with this same question. If you want root after a ota go to magisk and install on inactive slot to keep root.

Do exactly this:
Boot into TWRP
- Flash full OTA
- Flash TWRP installer zip
Reboot into TWRP
- Flash full OTA
- Flash TWRP installer zip
Reboot into TWRP
- Flash Magisk
- Wipe dalvik
Reboot system.
For future reference, this question was probably best suited for the q&a forum, but good luck!

Root Note 8 Exynos, basebabd: N950FXXU4CRG8?

Hello all, thanks for your insight.!
Just wondering if it's possible to Magisk root with the most current SM-N950Fxx. I see no guides for that so wonder if I can simply :
1. Install TWRP & 2. Install Magisk root via recovery.

The same method as before.
I've updated my note 8 to the latest firmware and was able to root it using magisk. I suggest to flash a custom kernel that has rmm fix. otherwise if you reboot your device you'll have an error "official binaries.." something like that and you wont be able to boot it up.

Not able to boot in the system after install magisk

Hello, guys. I have an issue with magisk 19.3.
I flashed MIUI 10 Global version in my Mi 9. After that, I flash TWRP then reboot to TWRP install magisk 19.3 and reboot system, but not able to get in the system instead boot to recovery. Does anybody know why?

Working TWRP for Mi9T Pro on Android 10 (QFKEUXM) **SOLVED**

Now that we have finally got the update in the EU region I want to know if anyone has successfully flashed TWRP or any other recovery?
In case anyone wondering I have managed to get root with the latest magisk via patched boot image method.
**UPDATE**
I flashed the latest TWRP from this thread and all went smoothly. Also managed to get Viper4android working which was my biggest concern coming from Android 9. Happy days :victory:

I'm currently on MIUI 10.3.4.0 Stable with OrangeFox Recovery installed, Going to attempt updating later since, afaik, OrangeFox has Support for OTA Updates.

Waiting for your feedback, because my orangefox is ready for OTAs but i think because i forgot to check DM VERITY and FORCED ENCRYPTION it asks for password when rebooting for update and ruins it...this is my guess. So please share your feedback and it you checked the 2 options unlike me.

I'm also interested in this. I want to keep TWRP and magisk post-upgrade to Android 10
I updated with no issued with the following steps:
1. Installed latest TWRP from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-redmi-t3944363
2. Download latest Magsik
3. Download recovery zip for miui 11 rom
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Install rom zip ( do not reboot after install)
6. Install Magsik
7. Install TWRP img via recovery that you downloaded in step 1
8. Reboot into TWRP
9. Reboot to system

Okay so, coming from 10.3.4.0 Stable, OFox Recovery and encrypted, the update ran through fine without any problems. Since I'm encrypted I had to enter my password first but after that it started installing the Update. as far as I remember, I've seen that Orangefox's script that prevents Orangefox from being overwritten after every update (it's called OTA.bak I think) already handles both DM-Verity and Force-Encrypt on it's own, at least I didn't had to take any further steps regarding Encryption and such stuff and after updating it booted into MIUI 11 just fine (which ofc since it's an Major Update took a little longer than usual but at least it eventually did)

So what do you do when you're on 10.3.4 pfkeuxm Rom and running with twrp and magisk installed?
Can't I install the miui 11 rom via twrp and then immediately flash magisk again?
Following the advice here, I've got the update installed with twrp and magisk working fine. The only problem I have is that I can't read/write the system partition so titanium backup isn't working. Any ideas how I could fix it?

Question Install Xiaomi EU ROM on Redmi Note 10 Pro

Hi! I need some help! I would like to install EU rom on my Redmi Note 10 Pro phone, but I do not know how to get started. I've already opened bootloader and installed Drivers, ADB. I should install TWRP after this, but I don't know if I should install disable dm verity forceencrypt. In principle, you don't need disable dm verity forceencrypt for TWRP 3.5.2.0. Someone could write down the steps on how to install the EU rom? I need a fresh guide. Please help!
no need to flash anything
make sure you have the latest twrp (nebrasy-3) and just;
- flash ROM
- format data by typing "yes"
- reboot
flash magisk after the first boot if you want it

No need to install twrp. It is enough to flashed the patched by Magisk boot.img. What version of miui do you have, 13 or 14?
Already exists a non-TWRP recovery (by @santoshhh000) for Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G (MIUI 14.0.10) (ruby/rubypro). The steps and files are in this link from youtube channel AllTricks. Follow carefully every step in the video.
It is called BEGONIA Recovery Project MIUI v3.7.0 A12.
I have successfuly installed the recovery and later rooted the device (with a inner procedure inside the recovery, based on Magisk) and everything is fine except that the backup operation of the Data partition (excl. storage) inside recovery fails at 80%., aproximately. I hope @santoshhh000 will fix that error soon. Nonetheless I am quite pleased with that recovery as a beginning.
