A really annoying bug with AOSiP and other ROMs: fingerprint sensor is unresponsive when device is sleeping. In other words I have to press power button first and then use fingerprint sensor to unlock.
Issue with kernel or ROM? Any fix available?

Since week or few days more i've started to have problem with proximity sensor during calls. After covering the sensor it doenst turn off the screen. After timeout the screen is black, but after uncovering the sensor it doent wake up the screen.
I use the latest Galnet Miui weekly, and in factory test on miui the proximity sensor works perfectly. I dont know what to do to fixed that.
any ideas?

I still can't figure it out that after my screen locked for awhile, then my fingerprint sensor not working only until I press the power button.
Is there some way to disable the brightness change when unlocking? I read the faq in the App and it says it does it to fix auto brightness but since I dont use auto brightness at all I wish I could disable this effect

I had same issue, try disabling pocket mode in settings,.... You will have working finger print sensor

Don't disable motion detection and your fingerprint sensor will work fine.
any good advanced settings for Naptime (without aggressive doze)?
I mean for light doze, deep doze ......

I'm running MIUI 12.5.6, and since the last update the fingerprint sensor has become temperamental.
Previously, just touching my thumb to the power button would unlock the screen.
Now it will sometimes unlock, but other times I actually have to click the button.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Try unregistering and registering from scratch.
Has any of you here experienced problems with the fingerprint sensor, in my case the option to add a fingerprint to unlock the device disappeared

Hello guys, is there a way to disable the proximity sensor or mock it somehow? Some devices also have an option to disable/enable pocket mode.
Using the phone with a bricked proximity sensor is a bummer, because I can't use AOD, tap to wake, or display new notifications. I would be really thankful if someone could help me.
PS: I always use root, so there shouldn't be any restrictions that way. I also tried xposed and the sensor disabler module, but it didn't work on A11 nor A13.
Update: the sensor is probably not fully broken, it works under bright sunlight, but only under bright sunlight.
