Hey guys,
I recently upgraded to CM 4.2.5 and I've been having some weird issues. First I can't access gmail, gtalk, gmaps, gcalendar, the marketplace, etc. Any time I open those programs I see the window open on my phone and then close immediately.
Second, my phone randomly reboots, but just to the CM Android logo. It finishes "booting" in about 5 or 10 seconds, but it's pretty annoying.
Phone info:
T-Mobile G1
Firmware version:
1.6
Baseband Version:
62.505.20.17H_2.22.19.26I
Kernal Version:
2.6.29.6-cm42

Mod Version:
CyanogenMod-4.2.5
Build Number:
DRC83
Any ideas on why this might be happening and what I can do about it?
What rom were you using before flashing to 4.2.5?
Did you download and flash the HTC 1.6 recovery image?
I believe I was using 4.0.1. I remember downloading an HTC recovery image that was specific to Rev B phones and using that before upgrading to 4.2.5.
Hello everyone,
Long time reader and supporter but just now made an account because I cannot figure out how to fix this issue.
Device Information:
Android Version: 2.2
Baseband Version: A1-05.01.04
Kernel version: 2.6.29
Build number: Acer_LiquidE_4.001.08_PA_ROG
2 days ago i was about to take a picture and someone called me, after hanging up the phone crashed. So i had to reset reboot it. When I tried to use the camre again, the camera image had a red tint on it, as if its stuck on Porterize Color Effect.
I know this is fixable because when I use the camera for a split second I can see the image properly and then it goes into the red overlay effect. I can also switch in between all other color effect...
I've tried using a dif rom and still the same!
Any ideas?
If anyone trying to help me needs anymore information please let me know.
Thank you,
p-Lo
Hi, sorry if there's already a topic about this specific issue, couldn't find any.
Now, as the title says, I'm having problem to connect on Wi-Fi network. I have a Galaxy S (GT-I9000B) running on CyanogenMod 10.0 (ICS 4.1.2) since 3 weeks.
Everything was fine when it started, 3 days ago. I can find the network but can't connect into it. It keeps looping on "Authenticating/Obtaining IP Adress".
Today morning I checked my phone and it was connected on Wi-Fi, so I thought the problem was solved, now it is not working anymore.
So far I tried: restarting; "forgetting" the wi-fi and connecting manually/by wps; wipe cache..
Anyone have an idea on how can I fix it?

fleurdelisxliv I suggest back up your phone and do a factory reset, should fix your issue! Really after every software update a factory reset should be done.
Hi all,
I have a brand new nubia z17 mini eu version. I have noticed that when the phone is turned off it doesn't charge (the red notification blinks but nothing appears on the screen nor the phone vibrates).
I thought it was due to the software OTA last update. I performed a factory reset but the problem persist.
I also noticed that rarely but not always, when the phone is turned off I'm able to charge it using the PC port.
Anyone has faced the same issue? Is there a way to solve it? I am afraid of running out of juice and won't be able to charge the phone anymore.
P.S: I tested with another cable and another charger and the same occurs :crying:
Maybe the following phone details are useful:
