[Q] Unlocking Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-5839i

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-5839i which has been rooted and has CWM installed. SU and ROM manager are installed on the phone. I have the network unlock code but no prompt appears when I put the phone on with a foreign SIM.
I have tried to install stock ROMs from sam mobile forums and an alternative three forum, as I dont have a backup of my original ROM image (Three UK). Have tried with Odin and ROM manager, both abort/fail.
I have tried the various keyboard codes and still cant unlock the network - #7465625*638*12345678# and #111
No luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

[REQ] help me IMEI problem in s3 LTE

Hello guys and devs
My friend has a s3 GT-I9305 LTE qualcomm base phone.
I don't know what he has done with its phone but the IMEI and baseband version says unknown.
I have tried tools like efs professional pro , nv data backup restore, qualcomm software but none of that worked for me.
the phone is rooted and when I check into efs folder there is nothing except 1 file called ms_code something.
There is no backup of old efs nor any of the nv named file is there in the efs folder.
I also tried to flash diffrent modem, updated the phone to 4.4.4 KK official stock but none of this worked.
now I am downloading official stock of 4.3 JB from sammobile[.]com.
Can anyone please help me by providing GT-I9305 nv data files so that can backup by editing the file by hex editor.
and yaa one think I forget to say that when I dail *#1234# in that phone it says phone and CSC only there is no CP information available. when I dail *#9090# for service menu, its totally blank and no option is available to choose.

Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9515 / GT-i9505 no sim after root and no sim after unbrick

Hello, friendly internet ghosts!
Yesterday I've bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 (in the system it says GT-i9515 but on the box GT-i9505)
The seller said he bricked the device at a shop to lineage 15.1 and after that, he had a no sim card error and that is the reason why he sold it.
I bought the phone thinking that if I would unbrick it back to original stock ROM (Netherlands PHN) it would work again, but NO! damn phone! Tried all different version (AP only) and .pit, ap, csc, etc. type of files with no luck.
It has been 10 hours non stop troubleshooting any way I could find, also hardware wise in order to make the sim card work but just no luck.
Any help is welcome, I've read some things about loading files in it, or rooting it or whatever but that know-how is just above my lollipop :silly:
At this moment I've put the following ROM on it -> I9515XXU1BOC3_I9515OXA1BOC3_I9515XXU1BOC3_HOME.tar.md5
Now i am downloading this one from sammobile -> I9515XXU1BOJ3 and CSC I9515YHN1BOI1. The operating system of this firmware is Android 5.0.1

You're in the wrong forum, this is the forum for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (GT-i9295). You want the forum for the regular Samsung Galaxy S4 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4). Good luck.
