Torch / Flashlight via power button? - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
On the Redmi Note 6 Pro I was able o double click on the power button fast to turn the Torch / Flashlight on. This doesn't seem to work on the xiaomi mi a2. Is there a way I can configure the phone to do so? It was really useful (many phones allow this in different ways...on the Moto G6 Plus I would shake it and the Torch / Flashlight would light up)

[Q] Off-screen navigation button vibration?

I turned on the vibration feedback for the off-screen navigation button but it only vibrates when i hold my finger on it to return to home screen.
The phone doesn't have any feedback for going back or entering the recent apps menu.
Can anyone check if their phone behaves the same way?
I'm on VTR-L09C432B113 firmware.
p10 Plus user, it's the same way here. Only a long-press will produce a vibration

Yeah, that's what I thought but it's better to check. Went to the Huawei center today and their models are acting the same way so it's probably a software error/feature.

Android 9 power off question

I recently updated my Moto X4 to Android 9. When I press the power off button I get the standard power off options on the screen to the right. Is there a way to switch it to the left of the screen?
That's a default option. Not possible to change it.
Ah ok, no worries then.
Thank you for your help.

Schedule restart

Hi friends..
Does Asus rog phone 2 have this feature?
Where we could set time for scheduled power off and on? I tried searching the settings for preset, schedule, power, etc but I wasn't able to.. I wish to restart my rog 2 daily automatically.. I have this feature in my oppo a83 and Gionee m7 power.
This is helpful just in case the power button doesn't work.
Also is there any app which would allow to use on screen buttons and do the functions which the hard buttons do..?? So that I could minimize the use of physical buttons, power button and volume buttons...?
Thanks.

One bug so far with my device...power button

So recieved the device this morning, everything all good coming from a X2 Pro, however one weird issue I currently have (am on latest firmware) is that the holding the power button does nothing regardless of how long I hold it for, so I can't turn it off or restart. Double tapping it works fine and pressing once to unlock etc, so it's not a hardware issue, is anyone else having this? Firmware is CPH2305_11_A.16
Welcome to android 12 --- volume up + power (2s hold) = the new power button .... don't ask... google did it!
I'm guessing Google think people don't switch their phones off.
Very annoying

Actually this is OPPO's fault.
On Pixel 6 Pro "power key to launch assistant" can be disabled and then power menu is back when you long-press power key.
On Find X5, the option just disables assistant launch and no option to restore power menu...
That's so annoying and unnecessary. I'm also struggling to find a vibrate only mode. I can't believe a 1075 quid handset can't do the basics.

There is...
In the notification quick access it's the bell. That turns on silent mode. If you long press to go into the options one of the tick boxes is to vibrate on silent mode. So that's your vibrate only. Once it's set you can literally just then use the bell quick button to go between ring and vibrate

Thanks. That's helpful. Is it possible to pull this onto the home screen as a toggle rather than swipe down each time from to access?
Cheers
