dark/night mode - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

I've enabled the dark/night mode. I've found that when inside apps, the bottom navigation bar turns from black to white. In chrome, eventhough I have it set to dark mode, the title and bottom buttons are white.
Is there any way to change it to black?

[Closed] SwiftKey black bar at the bottom?

I can not seem to remove the black bar at the bottom of the keyboard, and it's driving me crazy.
Any clues or tips? The keyboard pops up, makes a small pause at the bottom before it slides a little more up for the black bar to be visible..
It's down there even with the keyboard undocked.
Meh. It was full immersive mode on expanded desktop that gave me the black bar.. Switched to semi-immersive to remove it.

there is weird notification on screen

I have a rooted nexus6. So before I used to have star instead of circle with a slash in it that place. What can cause that . do you guys any idea. The seems to function normally ...here is a screen shot.
That means no notifications. Its like silent mode but no alarms will go off when its selected see the screen shot below. You are on the "none" mode which you could change to priority or all

Need a night clock but needs to hide N6 buttons

For many years I have used Night Clock and it has been able to turn off the backlight for the S3 and other phones. But being on the Nexus 6 there are no physical buttons and it does not turn off the buttons lights
What night clock can i use to hide the N6 buttons or some way to turn them off?

I use ClockPlus. It's the same as daydream in an app form.
Long press on the screen to go into daydream mode.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
I use alarm clock pro with GMD Immersive
I set the clock and the auto hide bar both to red as this is the least intrusive color for sleep. there is also a paid night clock app that auto hides the buttons but I can't find the link to it right now.
I use the stock clock app. Open the app and click the 3 dot menu and select Night mode, or just long press on the screen and it switches to night mode.
This shows just the clock, which changes position about once a minute so no screen burn in and no buttons.
You can also set the standard clock to daydream when plugged in and it does the same thing.
This ^
Timely.
Chronus has a daydream clock that hides the buttons completely. The stock one leaves those little dots where the buttons are supposed to be which bugs me. Chronus goes full immersive mode.
I set it to show the time and weather all in dark blue and set the brightness so low you can hardly see it. It's the perfect clock for me.

Hide/change color to the navigation bar?

Hi,
Is it possible to make the navigation bar be hidden while in the home screen outside of apps? Cause in apps you can hide it and go full screen.
Also is it possible to hide the top bar with the clock and icons kinda like the nav bar when it's hidden making that you have to swipe down ( up for nav bar ) to reveal it?

Click to collapse
in settings-> Display->Navigation bar
turn on the show and hide button setting
now double tap the dot on the far left of the nav bar (will turn into outline rather solid circle)
caveat nav bar will show up when virtual keyboard is activated*

No nav bar on home screen for me but might be because I'm running Google Now launcher

Force showing status bar in an app

I have an app which shows full screen, and the left upper hamburger button is therefore hidden behind the front camera. Is there anyway to force the status bar to always show, so that the button is pushed down a bit?
I have googled a bit but almost all results are about hiding the bar instead of showing it
