A few pages back, steps to enable gpay.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/magisk-google-pay-gms-17-1-22-pie-t3929950/page31

Is your bootloader unlocked or are you using a custom ROM, the official MIUI China ROM or the official MIUI Global Developer ROM? Any one of these will prevent Google Pay from working.
If you are having problems adding a specific card that could be an issue with the issuer. I've had problems adding my Chase card in the past when Chase already thought the card was activated on my phone (so I would never get an activation text from Chase) and also when an internal limit was reached in Chase computers regarding the number of times my card could be added to Google Pay. In both cases other cards worked fine but I needed to contact Chase customer service to get their card to work.

I connect to spモード
There also seems to be a hidden APN called docomo tethering (which can only be seen in non-docomo ROMs), I'm running 10.3.A.0.423 on my SO-02E.
Before I upgraded to a non-docomo ROM and while I was still using a docomo FW, I used Ti Backup to back everything up and restoring Phone/Messaging Storage (SMS/MMS/APN) fixed my APN.
Hi lanceBUKAKAKE *lol*
thanks, i realised in the end i can only get it to work when i connect via spmode.

Ya I'm on 4.2.2 now (10.3.A.0.423). I'm liking how you can now change which quick setting are displayed and their order. The other thing I like about Generic ROMs is I can disable LTE (to save battery) and only use it when I'm tethering. High-speed FOMA (3G) is good enough and since I'm always on the train LTE really doesn't do much good - I like the choices.
If you have an sp-mode contract option, like most users, you should be connecting to spmode.ne.jp.
You NEVER want to be using mopera U 設定. That is pay per packet (325 yen/mbyte) with NO plan discounts applied.

I'm using C6603_10.3.A.0.423_Generic ES. When flashing I suggest NOT wiping anything so all your settings are intact. I used DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (v15) to root it.
Japanese keyboard still works.
i wiped everything, only things you need to know:
- NFC not working. (already knew that before i flashed)
- APN settings need to be entered.

not sure - I'm only assuming that it would be physically possible since the hardware is there. I guess someone would have to port the files over and test it.
I tried porting 1-seg over but couldn't get it working.
really eager to try 4.2.2 as there is no date from docomo about the update.. but i cant lose services like osaifu keitai..
osaifu keitai utilises the NFC doesnt it?
i read somewhere the NFC found in intl version and japanese version are not the same.
so chances are nfc will not be working, until you flash a japanese rom.
If I'm not mistaken, the japanese version (so-02e) have both the standard NFC and felica-based for osaifu keitai. Either way, I'm going to try it anyway, have already backed up all my setting.. wish me luck making it working..

They have NFC-A _ONLY_ if you go to the docomo shop and get a pink sim for it. The situation is a little different than the standard versions.
Standard version: NFC-A secure element in handset body.
SO-02E: Felica secure element in handset body, NFC-A secure element in sim.

Root for HTC One Dual Sim EUROPEAN version?

Dear all,
I just purchased a HTC One Dual Sim. On the box it says it is an 802w and the id is M7CDUG. So it would seem like a Chinese version BUT it is in fact official Polish (European) distribution. The OS on this device is 2.41.402.3 HBOOT 2.27.00.
Any idea how to S-OFF / Root this device?

Root Galaxy S4 Active GT-i9295

I post here all way I found on the web in order to root the S4 Active i9295 (international version) NOT AT&T version
I remind you that S4 Active have a knox security which is supposed to secure our data, in fact it's a way for Samsung to void our constructor's warranty if we change the firmware / software part of the phone as root, custom recovery, install a ROM from another than Samsung or from an other country than the phone ( more precisely baseband) origin. If you active knox's flag, a binary will be change from 0 to 1 into the motherboard of the phone and this is irriversible. But I found also that : http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:31999L0044:FR:NOT (choose your language by the links in the tab). This European directive says that a constructor CAN'T VOID our legal warranty of 1 or 2 years if we change the software part of our item (terminal as tab, laptop... here smart phone)
Odin way with cf-auto-root file : http://www.phonandroid.com/forum/root-du-samsung-galaxy-s4-active-gt-i9295-t62684.html This method ACTIVE knox's flag to 0 x 1 In French
http://wccftech.com/guide-to-root-samsung-galaxy-s4-active-gt-i9295-sgh-i337/
In English
http://www.android-hilfe.de/root-cu...i9295-root-anleitung-mit-custom-recovery.html
In German
With KingoRoot software (that I tested and it works) : http://www.kingoapp.com/ this method doesn't active knox's flag but if you have a too updated version of android, kingoroot can says "It is impossible to root your device by employing exploits. Next, we will try to root it by flashing custom recovery through odin mode wich will void your warranty claim." CANCEL IMMEDIATELY, it means that if you continue the knox's flag will be actived.
Tuto : http://forum.frandroid.com/topic/173493-tutoroot-en-conservant-knox-0x0/ in French
And a last method that I haven't tryed : http://www.geekyguides.com/root-your-samsung-galaxy-s4-active-with-this-easy-method/ from this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTC7muLX5jM

But inteenational s4a still dont have knox activated in bootloader if you doesnt have 4.4.2, if you have 4.2.2 and root it even with custom recovery in download mode there is no knox warranty bit. So if you have 4.2.2 and no knox in download mode you can root it without thinking about knox. Yes? I rooted mine and than unrooted, I dont have knox bit so I still have warranty, yes or no?

I'm not sure but I would think that it would still trip a flash counter or void the warranty somehow through recovery. There's ways to undo this and/or cover your tracks, but I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject.

Like all software which root / crack a firmware are considered as "Trojan" by a part of anti-virus, it's false as I tested on my PC, did buying on internet (Amazon, Ebay...) and all is good. I remind you that isn't my software but one than I found during my searches about S4 Active (i9295)'s root.

I personally just love the links leading to sites, where you can download something and win iPhone, 10years of free shopping or 1000virgins for your private use for 5 years (with 2 years warranty on their virginity, what doesn't affect your statutory rights).
Or, to call the things simply and straight: to the sites which are stealing your personal data: address, email, phone etc.
The price is not worth download.
...
I bought my Active in cash for 440 euro and with 3 year legal warranty. But stock 4.2.2 is so laggy and stupid and pissed me out.I want to root it and flash some .4.4.2 custom but only, only if Im sure to may return to stock and use warranty. It have too many problems with water damaged phones, flappy usb covers and other. For these reasons I want to keep warranty.

Has anyone tried to root the latest 4.2.2 firmware for S4 Active i9295, namely I9295XXUBML3?
Chainfire Autoroot is detected by that frickin' Knox, which makes the phone unusable.

The last is BNC2 according samsung-updates: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9295
The normal file that I've been used doesn't work with this firmware version, so i tryed the file that is for the 4.4.2 versions (Kitkat) and worked! (DOWNLOAD HERE) The only thing i did is install manually super su from the Google Play and all done! :good:
BNC2 is for New Zealand only, for specific network reasons I think.
Anyway, for my European needs, BML3 is ok.
Which file are you referring to, CF-Auto-Root? For S4 9505 you mean? Because S4 9295 didn't get KitKat yet.
So you pushed it through Odin and then separately installed SuperSU, which should have been installed by CF-Auto-Root?

Yeah but, you see, "JFLETATT" itself says that the phone needs to be "ATT" (namely AT&T version), aka i537.
The rest of us free people, with unlocked bootloaders, use i9295. You do too. So no wonder safestrap didn't work.

[Q] Sony Xperia SP M35h

Hi all,
I've bought a Sony Xperia SP M35h in China and everything works fine but I cannot install Google Play or other Google Apps (Gmail, Maps, Drive, etc). From what I've read I should root my phone, but I have not find any suitable version for my phone.
I have been trying to solve this issue for months now..Any idea?
Many many thanks,:good::good:
Martim
thats highly unusual since google play comes installed on the phone, are you sure its a legit model ?
Google: Googleplay apk and find a suitable link, you should have no trouble installing it to be honest as the phone should come preloaded with Google services, plus when you get on it, it will need a Gmail account which can be made via the Googleplay store
Guys, thanks for the help.
The phone is legit but was bought in China and is from China Unicom. Even if it is unblocked and I can put my sim card, all google services crash whenever I try to open them (I can install but they do not run).
I tried to install different .apk. There was one that I was able to open, but I could never login to the Google Pay store.. at it mentioned connection problems.
Any idea on how to solve this?
Many thanks!
Got some photo's of the device for us? It is weird that the device you have is not working since it is (or seems) a legit device.
try sony pcc to make sure your phone is legit then you can easily update or repair your phone .
It works just fine with Sony Pcc. In fact, I have contacted Sony before.. and what they told me is that operating system for Chinese phones is different and that should be the reason why I cannot use Google services.
Should I need to change operating system? Is it possible?

Did you went to a store or something to ask what kind of Xperia they sell there?
Because you have C5303, C5306 and C5302 < This one has no LTE and the C5306 one is mostly sold in USA..
Edit: If I Google Sony Xperia M35h I get the C5302 on many websites. I will dig a bit futher for you but I recommend you to visit a nearby store to check what version they sell..

Try with another.SIM maybe the problem is with your SIM card, if not you can go to Sprint and talk about it or try factory reset if you have official Rom
