Hello,
I rooted my MotoG6 XT1925-5 4G/64GB last year successfully.
Now i can't have turbo boost to recharge my phone.
I tried to check with Ampere but average charge is 250mAh with 3 different turbo charger.
USB debug mode is not working anymore, always showing slow charge and device not recognized (error 43)
Device is no recognized on 3 differents laptop with different USB cables.
Motorola will no provide support on unlocked device.
I tried factory reset without sucess. now i can't use adb or turbo charge.
Do you have any tricks to make is work again.
Thank you.

I ordered a new genuine battery, but i doubt that it will solve my problem.
Now my phone is always plugged to an AC adapter to keep my phone charging.

Rooting doesn't cause that. You deleted some system or config file. Or flashed a GSI, or borked your boot.img (kernel)
Flash back to stock with fastboot

Guys please help me out I am in serious problem.
I have an international M7 with developer ROM on it. Till yesterday everything was 100% fine. But this morning when I tried to charge it, it gave me an error saying use a supported charger. I have been using the original charger from the beginning. And since then no other chargers are able to charge it. No error message no nothing.
When I try to charge it while powered off it shows "charging" for 1 second and powers down, then again powers back on saying "charging" and this keeps going on n on.
I tried using an OTG flash drive and its working perfectly. Device is powering on without any problem what so ever. Its just not charging. Its also not getting detected by computer.
Please help me out!
:crying:
Interestingly enough, I had this problem last night.
The first time I plugged it in, I got the error about using a supported charger but i simply just unplugged it and replugged it in and everything was fine.
So... I don't really have a solution, sorry.
I'm on InsertCoin 4.0.2 on a Dev Edition M7

you also tried charging from your pc's usb port?
if a factory reset and another outlet doesnt work then i'd consider contacting htc..

Its not charging or even getting detected on a PC as already mentioned and HTC CC is charging me 150$ for repairing :crying:
In fact they are charging the first 100$ just for opening the device. Huh...
Cant factory reset, very little battery is left so big risk. Is there no one else who has faced this problem ?
Again reminding you, OTG does still work...

The OTG still working has nothing to do with charging
their are 4 conncetions inside that usb port you need 2 of them to charge the other 2 for data. You say you cleaned the port.
Define cleaned the port.
I had a Samsung (same microusb port) stop being seen by PC or charging. I shut the phone off and used a paper towel folded to a point on one end, and dipped in rubbing alcohol. I inserted this into the port and let it set about 1 min. Removed it and folded the towel again and inserted the dry end. After 3 attempts at this the charger and data ports all work again. give it a shot.

I faced a similar problem while I installed cm11 nightly version. I resolved my problem by letting it charge for 9-10 hours in power off mode. It worked for me.
Hello,
I seem to have lost the ability to turbo charge on my N6. When I use the turbo charger, the phone charges normally, but does not "turbo" charge. I've also lost the ability to connect to a PC. No machine will recognize my device, so I'm also wondering how to update to 5.1 once released without a PC.
Not sure if these issues are related. Maybe a hardware issue? I'm on a stock, rooted device (with forced encryption off) with TWRP recovery. The problems seem to have started after I manually updated to 5.0.1 using this method:
http://nexus5.wonderhowto.com/how-t...ncryption-when-updating-your-nexus-6-0159062/
Please let me know if anyone can help.
Thanks
there's no real "turbo" mode in the n6, if its charging normally, then its right. how long would you say it takes the device to charge? and about connecting to the pc, is your nexus driver installed? sounds like it had an error somewhere. try installing it again, or manually. if the n6 driver isnt installed, your pc will never see the n6.
I noticed, I used a longer cord plugged into the Turbo charger, it would take about 5-6 hours to charge (I forget the %). Then I switched the cord back to the one that came with it, and the time was cut in half, 2-3 hours. Make sure you are using the correct cord.

It takes about 5-6 hours to charge from 0%. And yes, I have tried deleting the drivers and reinstalling them automatically and manually. It's not a driver problem as I've tried multiple computers (both PC and MAC). I've used multiple USB ports and cables. I've tried literally everything.

Thanks. I'm using the correct charger and cable. In fact, I thought I had a defective charger so I had Motorola send me a brand new one. Still not working correctly. In fact, when I enable USB debugging and MTP connection, it won't charge at all using the turbo charger. I have to disable USB debugging and MTP to get it to work. Very strange. That's why I think something went wrong with my installation of 5.0.1 or one of my modifications (enabling landscape mode on home screen, enabling screen mirroring, enabling tethering, franco kernel, root, decryption, etc.). I'm really hoping it's not hardware.
If it takes that long to charge on a wallplug you're hardware is probably defective. It generally takes me 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100 with a 5v 1amp wall charger. A little less with a 5v 2amp port. About 2 hours in fact.
5 to 6 hour charge rates only make sense if you're charging off the a powered USB port from a computer.

Either it's charger's issue or it's charging IC's issue. If you can find another turbo charger, try charging with that. If the same issue repeat, then ask for a replacement

Good luck getting a replacement charger. I have been trying to get a replacement charger for two weeks. Moto customer service is terrible.

Hey all, I find my nexus with the turbo charger goes from empty to full in about an hour and ten maybe twenty. Today I plugged it in at 13% at noon and by one it was at 94% so some of the charge times I'm seeing here seem way long compared to what I've been getting on my device. Is there different turbo charge blocks out there!?

Must be my Canadian electricity.
If by any chance you have access to the Note 4's charging block, try that one. It works extremely well with every turbo charge device I've used.
I left my phone to charge via USB pc port. When I woke up, the screen was showing me the Bootlogo (Unlocked bootloader warning bla bla bla). So I disconnected the X and tried to reboot it and now it won't "wake up". Not even to fastboot. I tried all the keys combinations, for short and long time pressed. Nothing. When I connect it to my computer and hold the power button, the green LED blinks once and the computer makes the "Device connected sound" but after a few seconds, the disconnected device sound kicks in. Did this happen to someone? Did my battery died? Or my entirely phone did? Thank you.
Try a different USB cable, microusb connector or port might be worn out.

I have the same problem
If I keep the charger connected to the phone, it stays on and the load to 100%. If I disconnect the charger, it is instantly turned off, as if it had no battery connected inside.
More than a month ago I have this problem and can not find any solution.
Anyone know anything? He could solve this problem?

Nope. Sigo igual :/
For those interested, having the same problem:
It turned out to be the battery. I tried different cables and chargers before (Original and generic) and nothing. But today I tried (As a last resource) on of those crappy multi-pin usb cable (http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAwMFgxMDAw/z/lWoAAOSwyQtVuK4e/$_35.JPG) with an old Sony-Ericsson wall adapter (http://www.mobilemonsters.lv/images/charger_sony_ericsson_ep-800.jpg) and the screen turned on to the battery with the 0%. Waited a couple minutes and the phone booted normally.

850mA is max recommended for revivivng Moto X from deep discharge. I'm using 700mA charger from LG
I updated my phone through OTA, but once i rebooted it aftet installing update, my USB port started to act strange. The phone takes 6 hours to fully charged ( with the same original power brick and cable) and also the cannot be recognized by any computer. OTG flash drives don't work anymore too.
Anyone else experienced these symptoms?

Bad wire...
You've lost a couple of pins... So you're not getting the turbo charger handshake... Further confirmed by loss of data to your PC...
Get a new wire... Make sure it specifies DATA/SYNC...
Unless you've burned up your turbo charger... Which I have heard of yet... Though I've broken the board in a couple of QC 2.0 compatible wall warts... But they just stop charging all together

Hey, I have the same problem but I bought and changed the cable USB so I solved the "problem".
This is weird but seriously I noticed this problem, Really I don't know.
Nexus 6 USB/charging port are this phones Achilles heel
I have recently resurrected my nexus 6 and found that it no longer gives me the turbo charger notification.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Fast charging notifications are ROM dependant. AFAIK, still not part of the stock ROM.
A way to tell what's happening is to use Ampere and look for ~ 1900 - 2200mA of current on the quick charger. ~ 500mA on a regular wall charger and <200mA on usb (computer) port.
The phone will only fast charge below a preset level. Somewhere around 80% the fast charge starts to slow down and that is reflected in the current measurement. By 85%, my N6 drops to ~1600mA.
If you go to settings -> battery while plugged into a wall (AC) charger and it shows usb charging, then check the cable and charger. Try different ones. If still it shows usb charging, then your phone charging port is messed up. I'd first try cleaning it.
If you can't remember the last time you cleared the caches (clean flashed) a factory reset might get things cleaned up as well.
If you're still using the original battery at this point in time, slow charging might just be a result of an old, expended battery.
Hej Folks,
my Santoni has this quirk that I can charge it with any charger, as long as it still has some energy. When it shuts down automatically because of low battery, it will only accept the original Xiaomi charger to recharge. This just gives me headaches, because when I loose my charger while traveling, I'm completely screwed! It will still turn on in fastboot and recovery and burn the last bit of energy left in the battery, but it won't charge there either...
I' running microG Lineage, and don't know whether it worked before I installed it or not, cause I didn't test that.
Any Ideas besides buying more original Xiaomi chargers?
What about USB cable? which USB cable you are using? have you tried using different USB cable?
check with USB port if there's any dust/lint, if so then try cleaning it and try charging it again.

I tried various USB-cables, all of them work with the original charger, but not with the seven other chargers that I tried (even though these work when the phone is still on).

Any USB and charger combination(s)should just work fine, i am not sure why are you getting this issue.
Have you changed your device's battery? (just asking, if so then that might be culprit).
Anyways for time being let me presume you haven't so in that case you may want to try clean flashing some other ROM(s) and see if you face the same issue. sometimes ROM or kernel causes this issue. similarly you can try changing kernel. (Do backup everything if you choose to clean flash)
