Hi,
my xperia v's touch screen broke about 2 weeks ago, so I take it to a workshop and they replace it with a new one (certainly it's not as the old one's quality)
But my big problem is:
my mobile go to Sleep of death after 30 minutes.
How can I fix it?
I installed about 5 different roms (among 9.2.A.2.5_CE4 (android 4.3)) and some custom roms but the problem still remain.
Please help me!
I don't know if this addresses all the issues related to proximity sensor & in-call display touch triggering issues but I recently had this issue on my MI A2. So I checked if this is a software related issue. I called the Xiaomi Customer support if they had any knowledge about such an issue. I even searched for this issue on xda and none of the solutions worked for me. Then I stumbled upon an article in gsmarena which was a long-term review of MI A2, where they faced a similar issue during calls and that was in November 2018. Then I thought if the issue was with software then it would have already been fixed. So I visited the nearest Xiaomi service center and got my device checked and they told me the issue was with the display(I never had any issue with the display outside of calls so it never occurred to me that the problem I had would be a display issue). So after 2 weeks I got my display replaced and its been 3 days since then and the problem is gone. So suggest to whoever is facing this issue or a similar one please get it checked at your nearest service center and get your display replaced. It still hasn't been a year since the phone got launched so you can still claim your warranty. Sorry if my English was bad.
I am extremely disappointed to know that Honor didn't bother fixing this screen touch delay issue that I have been having for more than 12+ Months. Ever since I bought this phone, I have had constant touch delay on every FPS Game except PUBG and that's the only game doesn't even have this issue. I've contacted Honor and they didn't even respond back at all, they just ignored my emails for no reason. When you put one finger on the display, it works perfectly and there's no problem at all, however when I put two fingers on the screen, there's this 100ms input delay and it feels horrible. I know this is a software issue but are there any ways to fix this?
Did you update to the latest emui?
Hi there,
my Redmi Note 9 NFC version has a problem with its touch screen. For me, it is too sensitive, which means my finger hovers about 1 mm above the screen an the phone detects a touch, which is clearly wrong. That leads to wrong typing and all sorts of other annoying issues.
Does anybody of you know how to turn the screen less sensitive? The tips I read on the Internet are not applicable to the Note 9 or are simply useless.
Your input is highly appreciated!
Thanks!!!

If you searched the internet and found no one facing that issue on the same device then it might be just your unit with this problem. Anyways your phone has a warranty and contacting Xiaomi's support is recommended.
Sorry, don't think I can help you - I haven't come across this problem. Just tried to reproduce it myself but can't. Are you using a screen protector? If not, you might find it helpful to use one - they tend to dull the sensitivity a little, though if you're getting touches detected without any contact being made I suspect a screen protector might not help
that's unfortunate that no one has the same problem, which means it could be a hardware problem, which means I need to return it or take it to a service center.
I'm using the original screen protector, didn't tear it off. I had hoped there was some internal feature within the CIT, for instance, that I can use to recalibrate the touch screen, but it merely checks the touchscreen.
Hmmm, need to think about it a bit more.
I also have this problem , . I have a Redmi Note 9 pro EU version . My finger gets registered about 1 mm above the screen . Although I don't seem to have a problem with typing, it is annoying as sometimes the screen registeres my finger without touching by the screen witch leads to all sort of problems , ( like wrong friend requests on Facebook )
Hello community.
First, I apologize there may be some difficult to know what I want to say because of my poor english skills.
I bought CN version Mi 11 ultra last week. I have been using it but sometime I feel something wrong about touch input while gaming.
So I recorded video while playing game with touch position indication.
Here is the video.
It looks like happened when two finger input.
When problem happened, it seems like switching 2 touching position very very fast between currently touching.
It looks like only single touch is recognized in phone system...may be...
Anyone have same problem? And I expect someone have solution.
Yes, I've had it when typing on gboard and then I changed to SwiftKey and same issue
Sometimes a ghost touch makes the keyboard disappear
It happens less now I'm on 12.5.4 but sometimes still, there's an issue
Maybe related to notifications arriving at the top
I haven't figured it out yet or had much time to work on it
Touch quality was very bad , my old OnePlus 8 pro too much better touch sensitivity
I already asked in forum about that touch problem...
Touch function quality
Hi Recently i bought xiaomi 11 ultra Chinese version with global rom about a week ago, coming from OnePlus 8 Pro (that was my main device for last 8 months). Last week i noticed slow touch response and i feel the touch function was very slower...
