Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.
Also, we got our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM, share some love, ideas or even have fun with us!

Aod and 5Ghz hotspot on h870 is not working and you can customise a lot.

If you install gapps stock incl. Pixel launcher yes.

Right ok. ROM installed. Here are my findings...
After installing ROM... Had to reboot twice to get it to boot as got stuck in bootloop.
Initial setup made phone extremely hot and laggy but eventually cooled down after setup was complete and restoration of data was complete.
Using dark mode, system text is invisible. Had to turn on light mode to get text to be visible
Chrome build in browser refuses to load websites. Any site. If you install a browser from playstore they work fine.
The boot splash screen with bootleg logo is just awful.
Apart from these issues... The ROM seems run ok.

The bootscreen is the best thing on this ROM

The rom is very nice. But no camera app seems to be working. Can anyone provide working camera app for this rom.

Youtube videos are not playing. Any fix?

One bug I've noticed is sometimes phone doesn't take charge but when restarted while on charge, It charges.
Please fix this issue.
I came from Havoc OS for SMOOTH PUBG but PUBG is also lagging a little bit and fps drops too much.

camera and youtube are not working. There is no point of using phone without these 2 apps. Will switch to another Rom.

Do you realize that all roms use the same device tree?
Stock camera app is broken, use open camera or gcam or whatever you prefer, if camera still doesn't work with those apps you have to flash the 20I stock kdz, wipe dalvik cache system and data and then flash the ROM

I will update about battery life and performance tonight as i charged 100% in the morning.
I played many games, trust me it was best experience among all oreo ROMs. I didn't felt any multi touch issue.

Hi, flashed it a couple of days ago, works great and is very nice. No lagging for me but GPS isn't working, cannot use navigation apps like Waze or gmaps. Do you know if this is a common issue for Oreo or it's just something which needs to be fixed?

This is the best, smooth and cute rom without bugs. It became stable for ever in my phone.

on par with aex rom..

No option to slide to adjust brightness across statusbar available..
The brightness slider sometimes doesn't work..
But the rom is great, no glitches or lags at all..
way better battery backup than other oreo roms, for me it's better than aex 5.3..

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on Ground Zero Open Source Project (GZOSP) and brings custom features with the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of "Making you feel like 家".
Using the stability and compatibility of GZOSP, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpaper (Dawn by fxckingdeathwish), ringtones, and fonts, to bring to your device into a more fresh look, also with a selection of apps, header packs and wallpapers (on ShishuWalls app).

Ok.... Thank you for the rom

Guys i want to report an issue with the rom.
Today after using 2days, the apps started crashing on after another. Reboot seemed to have solved the issue.
Also nice to haves.
1. Proximity speakerphone
2. Increasing ringer
Battery time is super sweet on this rom. See attached.

Omnijaws keep crashing in latest build. Any ideas @Sayan_tan ?

Okay issues in 29th build.
1. Omni jaws are not working.
2. Apps keep crashing randomly
3. Battery drain faster than previous build.
4. Performance seems slower now.

31st May Build is up, I suggest you to update. And the build you're using currently has no such issues, many users tested & reported me. Do a Clean flash if problem remains.

May be they didnt test hard enough
I am using this rom for daily use. Latest build from 31st seems stable. Email keeps crashing though.
performance is still an issue. degraded somehow. Early builds were super responsive.
Also, can you fix bluetooth calls ?

Bluetooth Calls will be fixed in next build. Email app is not crashing, I'm myself using it on a regular basis. And yeah, the proximity earphone thing, I'll look into it. #KeepTheBootleg

2. Download GAPPS
3. Go to recovery and TAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
4. Wipe Data and Cache
5. Flash OOS Latest + TWRP (from the OP)
6. Reboot to twrp
7. Wipe data, cache(system optional)
8. Flash ROM
9. reboot to twrp. This is compulsory
10. Now flash additional addons like gapps and magisk.

Hey bro its great to test bootleggers on my OP6 and unfortunately & accidentally messed my phone with trying this more hz display which doesn't work on android 10 i haven't glanced that forum clearly(my bad:crying so please provide me necessary code to start my device.

Try using the Magisk module "disable hardware overlays" and then try.

1. I am not sure why you would flash some overclocking thing for the device especially when our displays are capped at 60 hZ. For adding code to add higher refresh rate, i will NEVER DO IT. You may wanna use msm tool to re install OOS directly.
2. OOS Camera support i may be looking into. The things are slightly different than that of pie, so not really sure by when i will be able to add it.
3. Face unlock is something which google took out from code when they brought the pixel 4 series into the market. It is something which is currently not possible for any custom rom running android 10.

You may try to flash the stock 60 hZ and see what goes on

How can ppl be soo dumb? Op closed the thread and told that this mod dont work and ppl still flash

Magiisk module
Unable to install magisk modules from the app. However they can be installed on twrp. The hardware overlays magisk module does not install and as a result using android auto is difficult.

New Build Up!
Changelog :
• Shishufied (official) yay!
• Source built vendor (thanks to @neobuddy89).
• Using Avalon clang 11.0.1.
• Using CAF surfaceflinger.
• Auto brightness turned on by default.
• Fixed AUX cameras.
• Using HyperX kernel as default (thanks to @TheDemon12).
• Enforcing selinux.
• Lawnchair as default launcher.
• Wallpaper is now perfectly cropped.
• Fixed changelog in settings.
• Misc stuff here n there.
Well, it's smooth lol...
Note :
There is no way of changing refresh rate to 60 or disable pill style cutout for now.

• Back to using stock vendor (If you aren't on it, you need to flash stock vendor first!).
• Notch pill and refresh rate toggles are back.
• Default dpi to 411dp.
• Replace Jelly browser with via.
• Replace Camera2 with Google Camera Go.
• Fpc fp must be fixed now.
• User build type.
• Check changelog in settings for more.
Since some people were having issues with gapps, installation instructions are updated in OP.
All the downoad links are updated in OP.

FPC fp still not fixed. There are fp touches happening.

Well, at least you have fingerprint working. Be happy

AUX cameras doesn't work for me. Clean flashed the latest build.

If I install via twrp will i lost all app data

Reboot to recovery, flash magisk.
Reboot to system and enjoy...
