I Flashed Mi 6x rom in my Mi a2. I dont know what happened.
The camera was staying black screen. I flash stock rom to fix. But come problem. The stock rom not fix the issue.
I discovered all my sensors no enable.
How to fix this? What i can do?
I have this problem now. Did you ever find a solution?
If you are allready converted to 6X and have TWRP do this:
-boot to TWRP
-connect your phone to PC and copy persist.img from stock MIUI 9 ROM used to convert to A2 to 6X
-In TWRP go to Install, then Intall Image, navigate to your persist.img and Select Partition to Flash Image: Persist
-After flash, reboot to System and now your all sensors should work
I have attached persist.img so You can use this one...

Is fingerprint fast as original? Because I convert a2 to 6x but the fingerprint sensor was very slow.
FP sensor is working perfectly, precise, fast, face unlock instantly also. I am curently on MIUI 10 latest from xiaomi.eu and everything is fast and fluid.
Thank you i think it worked.

Guys, I can't solve the problem using this method with Mi 6x on MIUI 11, it only works on MIUI 10. I searched persist.img on rom MIUI 11 beta but I couldn't find it. How do I solve this problem using MIUI 11?

after i got miui 10 i sticked with it until miui 11 was launched, i just upgraded it and all still worked good!!! now im currently using pixelexperience 10, all is still good, i never again touched the persist
I am also using Pixel Experience 10 and I am no longer with this problem. PE already comes with API2 enabled, so I don't think it corrupts the persist partition.
My Mi a2 was converted to Mi 6x and trapped on arb4.
I have tried flashing Mi a2 ROMS, but failed. it ends up with errors in twrp (I booted Mi a2 twrp).
Is it possible to flash Mi a2 ROMS on converted Mi 6x?

No, you have to flush only the 6x rums, and watch the arb Now that exists in Pixel Expiriencu!

1st time I converted to mi 6x, I was able to flash A2 ROM that I just needed to push a2 twrp then flash.
Since I got arb4, it becomes trouble in flashing mi a2. so, I am supposing it is the cause.
anyway, anyone has any idea or found a solution, please share.
thanks

Arb4 means no ways back as far as I know
ARB 4 has no solution!! (and i think will not have...)
I'm on this boat and the best solution (for me) is flashing the Havoc 2.5 for Mi 6x (wayne), the best ROM based on Android One
Use edl mode to flash back to stock. Edl wont judge you for being in arb or even when hard brick
So i've got Mi a2 device and from the last week it has a brighter screen sections, around whole display (looks similar to the p20pro glue gate). So i decided to send it to the Amazon, but currently I am using the PixelOs ROM, so I need to flash it back to stock Rom, and then lock bootloader. The problem is, that I can't flash it via MI Flash (device error, or smth like that, all device tools doesn't work at all too), and when I wanted to just Flash it in TWRP I recognized that's support only .zip files and the Rom is in a diffrent format. Last time, I did ,,big back to the stock rom action" I found a website, with the commands, that allows you to flash it with GZ file, and Minimal ADB and Fastboot, but I just Can't find it now (Thanks Google), so I'm asking here: How can I back to the stock rom using Twrp only (or command prompt ofc).
Convert Back to A2
Download latest a2 stock rom.
Put phone to edl mode again (fastboot oem edl)
Flash stock rom via QFİLL with same method (Select .ddr and xml files from stock rom folder) and power up.
Done.
(If you have wifi camera or splash screen problems. Flash stockrom with miflash on fastboot (vol down + power ) again.)

I tried two point test in my Mi a2 and flash with mi flash tool, so, i receive this message of application: "can not read from port com8", what is it? How i do resolve?
I had converted my Mi A2 into 6x but i forgot to delete Firmware Update folder. Now i'm using Pixel Experience Rom based on 6X.
Is it possible to go back Mi A2? (Without Opening Phone Backpart

open fastboot :
fastboot getvar all
there will be a bunch of info ...if the ARB number is higher than 4 the answer is NO
fyi: you can enter edl from fastboot or twrp custom recovery if your phone is in working order .. shorting the pins ( test point) by opening phone physically only becomes necessary if your phone is bricked
open fastboot :
fastboot oem edl
***something to consider is you can't just flash an android 1 rom ...you need to download the repartition script to repartition your partition layout or all attempts will fail
