Most custom ROMs do NOT include GApps.USually you will need to flash a GApps packagae such as from www.opengapps.com and version for 8.1 No need to upload anything to Mega regarding GApps.

How to turn off hold down the Back to Kill Apps button

Is there a specific reason you chose to compile CosmicOS over another AOSP such as DirtyUnicorns? I tried to compile DirtyUnicorns and I had many many build issues Did you need to change much to get the device sources to compile CosmicOS instead of a Lineage based ROM using a LineageOS specific device tree (ie Kyasu's device trees)? Some of the issues I had were specific where the LineageOS device tree brought in Lineage components, while the AOSP ROM does not have the supporting dependencies by default. eg "Lineage-SDK"

A lot of the changes appear related to SamsungDoze. FYI: In my last device, to help compile DU, MotorollaDoze was simply removed from the device.mk file.

I would like to add here to @Vhi A Enh I testes a few times new version of Dot.OS and result is .. My GPS in phone is broken. I tiered to flash stock firmware (all official in download mode) and then I wanted to check if GPS even on stock rom works. It also did not work. I've tried to install different roms a few times but to no avail. That's why tommorow I am throwing in a new build of dot.OS and I would like you to check it out.

Check your connection of your GPS antenna. There are many videos regarding this issue, so obviously it is a common issue.

Cellular data doesn't work and a message about a non-working sd card appears. The os tries to format the card.

Hello, try change network status for ex. from LTE to WCDMA and again to LTE. Or just restart phone.
Regarding the sd card, I do not know why this is happening but now I tried to put in my 4GB SD card and everything works. I do not have any prompts to "format the card".
Try formatting your card over the phone or PC, but first backup all data on it. Let me know if everything works or is still a problem.

oh also forgot to report that sometimes im getting kind of frame droping in ui but easily fixed by just turning the screen off and on again. overall smooth performance on gaming and multi tasking

Using this now and noticed two problems. Usb otg and brightness adjustment by sliding the status bar does not work, aside from those, it's good to have BL for this device

bro, download the twrp, after install, reboot to twrp again, and flash rom

Hi everything is grt but can u PLZZ , add recent modifications like Oreo recents with memory bar and font settings also and clock font at lockscreen and style changeable location as rule like device only battery savings etc
And replace Snapdragon cam with Google camera if possible
And plzz add toggle for lockscreen visualiser
....these are only things which I felt missing....otherwise Ron is grt
I noticed there is a lot of useless space between network bar of both Sims but it automatically disappears when I enable data on ,,,, pls remove that in next build..and a lot of status bar padding is present remove that too PLZZ.
Edit: space between network bars got fixed ( dont know how , maybe bcuz of replacing ims apk or updating dialer call.)

Known issue
Let's see

I really dig the Google Pixel like experience. Few things aren't working for me and few suggestions -
Back navigation gesture isn't working.
Hardware/capacitive touch button aren't disabled.
There is no smart charge option (putting restrictions on maximum charge level 90%).
Google camera go isn't working, why not replace it with Google camera mod.
Please replace files app by Google's files app.
Please add option of hiding and locking app using finger print in the shapeshift launcher.
Volume option in QS tiles.
Thank you for developing this great ROM. Lastly I hope you would add the option of OTT update soon.

1,2. For Now U need to use Magisk Module (it will disable HW keys and enable Gesture Navigation)

3. Let the ROM source add it
4. Gcam GO works fine here. Its the default camera for now. U are free to install Any other GCam mods

As now its a common issue in A11 roms in Tissot so yeah wait until our devs fix it

Thank you for adding requested features. Gesture is now working and hardware key is disabled.

WIFI SLOW
Wifi = Down: 55Mbs / Upload: 5Mbs
Wifi + BT = Down: 52Mbs / Upload: 47Mbs
Wifi + Location = Down: 15Mbs / Upload: 30Mbs
Wifi + BT + Location = Down: 2Mbs / Upload: 6Mbs
i connet BT with Miband 3

I can't root it with flashing magisk zip, any ideas?
