forgotten unlock code

i got a problem with a Samsung Galaxy i9000, a friend of mine forgot his his unlock figure, so i tried to reset it with the Google account, but he couldnt even remember the mail-adress.
Are there any ohter ways to unlock / reset the phone?
I have tried to use the Download manager to reset it, but the phone bootet up without the download manager popping up, also its not possible to do a hard reset by using key combinations.
I tried to use the emergency function to type the hard reset code, but it also didnt work :/
I really dont have any more ideas, can you maybe give me some tips that i could try?
I'm sorry for my bad english , but i hope you can understand what kind of problem i have

is he on stock rom or custom one....on stock you can use odin to have a new rom or on custom you can flash it...in both case your apps will be gone

If you are rooted try to flash another rom with cwm,if not it's pretty bad,you'll need to put it in download mode=>odin.

Do you know why I am not able to switch in Download Modus? Or do you have any solution for my problem?

Can you Reinstall Stock Firmware on Amazon Exclusive R1 HD?

Just the question from the title. I just bought one. I can live with ads but not anyone's favorite. But before I start using it, can I simply reinstall it with stock firmware? If so is there some tutorial I can follow?

To return to fully stock , locked boot loader, stock system, recovery, out of box condition (V6.1)
You must be on old preloader so you can use sp flash tool to flash these partitons. You probably could put the images into a recovery zip also,
But that is not the way I did it so I dont have the info on it.
1. Verify you have access to flash tool.
if you do not have access will need to roll back with these instructions

2. once you have spft access, download my o.o.b. package. from same link as above, click on the "click to show content" button.
3. unpack into one folder. Load scatter file into flsh tool. (DO NOT USE FORMAT DOWNLOAD ONLY)

First thing I'd do is to reset it to it's original state and thus unroot it.
Does that bring Wi-Fi back ?
Then I would re-root to se if that turns Wi-Fi off again.
If so , then it seems the unrooting has problem somewhere... I think I've seen that it implies playing with a modded kernel image or something like that. So it can easily cause problems.
If not then you probably unrooted it the wrong way first time.

I had the same problem, fixed it by flashing the same boot.img that belongs to my os version (cn red magic 2.14).

Hello senpai can you teach me step by step how to flash thanks. Can i root it first then unlock bootloader? Then the TWRP i cant install it its always failed it say cannot etc. Etc .etc in lock state i guess thanks

Look up your build number in settings, mine is 2.14 as you can see in the screenshot.
Download the appropiate version you need from http://ui.nubia.cn/rom/detail/62
If you also have the China rom ofc.
Follow the root steps in the other screenshot.

Hi the same result . Cant open the wifi do i need to unroot first ? And the twrp i cant flash it. It say
Flashing is not allowed in lock state .
I do the "fastboot oem nubia_unlock NUBIA_NX629J" the same result

Hi,
So if I get you right : I download the ROM for the Global version.
Once done I extract the boot.img and patch it with Magisk Manager.
And then I flash the patched file and it should be good ?
I'm going to try this right now

I think there are three of those :
- China
- North America
- Europe
To know which one you are running, just go to settings and at the very bottom "About this phone".
And there, at the very bottom, the version of the ROM used.
Without that info, I won't be able to provide the needed patched boot image.
I assume your bootloader is unlocked and you DID NOT install TWRP.

Yes, CN stands for China.
So you have Chinese 2.14 version.
I'll see if I can find that boot.img you need.

Try to change region and use wifi and see if you are offered an update.
What is the version of your phone? (another method).

Your phone's code name is "camellian".
Download this rom "Recovery V13.0.3.0.SKSMIXM" then put it in the root of the phone without renaming it and go to the update settings, the 3 points at the top right / select the update file.

It doesn't work all the time.
They released an A12 rom in May and yours is from July in A11, surely some problem.
The solution that will work 100% is to unlock the bootloader to update and relock afterwards.

I have already unlocked the Bootloader. But stuck on what to do (not really) more like what file is the correct one to use.

It may be because bootloader is unlocked plus possible root that you are not getting updates.
You must use a fastboot rom(read my tuto).

U must do clean fastboot install to Global (this one).
U can try tapping few times on MIUI 12.5 Logo in settings to unlock advanced settings and select manually file to update, but I doubt u can update Japan version since they didn't release MIUI 13 Japanese version (the one you showed us in the picture).
So yeah, download global and do clean install (do some sort of backup if u must, I recommend Swift Backup), since you'll have to wipe data after clean fastboot flash.

After download extract until you have folder with "flash_all.bat" folder.
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot reboot fastboot
^important to boot into fastbootD so u can flash system
run flash_all.bat
fastboot reboot recovery
wipe data
reboot

in other thread you're asking to root. here you're asking to lock. of course that is in conflict. in order lock bootloader, flash vbmeta_samsung.img extracted from stock ROM. or flash stock ROM.

I tryed to flash stock rom dont response , everytime fail... and from where that vbmeta samsung img? i mean i have 5 files AP-BL-CP-CSC-HOME ? idk if u really wanted to help me u could explain me beter what to do and all steps

Do your homework, search for "How to extract Samsung firmware files" and unpack AP-BL-CP-CSC-HOME until you find anything that is named vbmeta - that's same how I can do. or do you expect me to download your stock ROM, extract files and find vbmeta for you?
you can ask in forum for help, but don't expect spoon feeding...
also be clear in what you want. do you want to root that device? then why you didn't response in your rooting thread?
or do you want to lock bootloader? then provide more information about what exactly is issue with Odin.

Thanks , i have another problem now i i really dont know what to do. My phone it s just stuck in download mode with that error SW.REV CHECK FAIL BOOTLOADER DEVICE16 BINARY15. Have a ideea what to do? i tryed many firmwares but one dont know , what i can do in that chase? what do download and from where?

You need try last the newest firmware. You get this notibicatkion bacouse you trying install older version.

hi , firstly thanks for all the help, i have this galaxy s10 android 12 i it was already unlocked bootloader OEM and usb in developers options, phone is with google account(or samsung account) but its in use i can get in settings so i open some tool and click factory reset option and now i have bootloop i can only get download mode now and when i flash same firmware as on device with Odin 13xx and latest Odin and patched versions it shows Pass but still bootloop.. also when i flash downgrade to android 11 also Pass succes but same error how in the holys name fix this?? regards
