that's a nice app, I was looking the other day an app to create easily gradients. 2-3 things though, when I click set colors for the second time if I want to change something, it looses the colors I have already picked, so I can't fine tune the gradient I made. I would also like to see a color wheel along with the hex slider instead of the hex slider alone, and finally it saves it in png which in the Gallery app I use isn't shown.
thank you!

...after looking around in this thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=761517
I especially liked the cleaner looking themes, but wanted something even more streamlined. So I started by doing the following:
I thought that the samurai wallpaper was awesome, so I found it via Google here:
http://www.outlawdesignblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/samurai_me_by_patleeart.jpg
..and hit it with the sepia filter in Photoid. That darkened it up enough for me.
The dock I found on Deviant Art here:
http://kimboprice.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ydmvn
...and ran it through GIMP. The only part that remained was the app drawer icon. I made the borders on the app drawer icon bolder, erased the rest and made new text icons and the simple white upper border.
For clock I used the DigiTrans clock skin for Weather & Toggle Widget that is available for free on the Market, and modified the widget background (simple white border and clock underline with a 25% transparency), AM icon and PM icon in GIMP.
To use any of it, just put the clock skin ZIP on your SD card in the appropriate folder and select it through the widget skin wizard in your Weather & Toggle Widget settings menu; the wallpaper is a no brainer; for the dock, using LauncherPro select preferences>appearance>dock background>custom image and choose it from the gallery, then use the included blank icon for the app drawer, phone and task manager apps.
There are two docks in the ZIP, a black one for lighter wallpapers and a white one for darker wallpapers.
Mods, please feel free to close this thread or remove any of my attachments if anything is not in line or if I've left out any credits. Everything I used was found on the web or in the market for free, except Weather & Toggle Widget which folks will have to download from the market on their own.
Hope some of your guys will like this theme.

MetroStation Icons Pack [Version 2.19]
Icon replacement in Metro Style for your mobile device. The main icons are in png file format, so you can use it for Windows Phone and Android.
_____________________________________
What is a METRO
METRO is codename for Windows Phone Design System. It's modern, clean, light and open design with no shadows, glows or gradients.
The Design
The Design of these icons it's based on the METRO style, with cleared, straight forms and pure typography. Most of the parts are just basic shapes - circles and rectangles, combine in the best way.
What's in the package
There is 7 main sections, with total 209 icons*3 colours - white, blue and black (overall 627 icons). The files are 256 x 256px ico files (from 16 to 256px) and 256 x 256px png files.
Most of these icons are normal stuff for a computers or smartphones. There are included icons for web browsers, social networks, mobile operators, there are some standard software packages, system icons, and such as multimedia and for navigation systems.
The design of all icons, which are registered trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.
How to use it
The png files are for Windows Mobile OS, Android, iOS and Linux OS. There is a lot of programs, that allows to change the icons of these OS.
The ico files it's for your Windows OS. Just replace the original icon from the Properties dialogue in any program or folder.
My recommendations for the background are - since the icons are with one solid colour, use dark bg for the white and blue versions and light for the black.
More Icons....
There will be more updates, more icons and colours, please write in comments what programs want to see in metro-style here, or in my deviantart page - http://yankoa.deviantart.com/.

Awesome, thanks.
Love the set man. Thank you.
how do you install it onto android?
btw im using ADW launcher EX
what font is used in the suites icons?
thanks! what a collection
Awesome collection! Completely overhauled my main screen! Kudos!
Nice awesome.
thanks for sharing
it's awesome
Am I allowed to use and modify the icons for my own app (not commercial)?
I know you're probably inundated with requests, but here goes... How about a generic VOIP icon? I know there's a Skype icon (two!) but I use an app called Viber, and there's a lot of competition in this field. Just one icon that could be applied to a whole genre of apps. Right now a lot of devs are just using stylised dialer icons for these apps, so maybe you could come up with something more distinctive!
I love this! Works great on my ICS beta 7 ROM (HTC HD2) I use only these icons on my phone semi transparent... Gives it a really slik look! I really dislike the multicoloured ones the come stock with most apps... Makes my phone look like a "My first Sony" phone
Thanks... just what I was looking for!

Hi all, I searched high and low for a good GenieWidget replacement and I couldn't find one that fit the bill after a couple weeks of searching. I loved the look of the Deer Reader 4x1 widget, but it had serious problems with updating, plus I am not a huge fan of the interface, so I decided to customize GenieWidget to my liking.
What we have here is GenieWidget with the following changes:
- Transparent background
- ICS Blue headlines on widget
- Widget headline font switched to Roboto Light, 18pt size
- Widget publisher color switched to white instead of grey
- Removed images from widget since they were always low res and looked like crap anyway
Here is a screenshot:

The dark background is actually done via UCCW, as is the blue > symbol on the right. The rest is just my custom GenieWidget laid on top of that UCCW widget.
So far I have only made the font changes to the portrait orientation for the News Widget since thats all I use. If there is interest then I can customize the other layouts as well.
APK is attached to this post.
Hey, I thought your mod was cool, so I installed in on my p500 CM9 ICS 9.2.1: unfortunately there's no way to see the background and the blue > symbol on the right.. do I have to install UCCW too?
Cheers

Yes, that is all done via UCCW. You would have to install UCCW and then make whatever background you want and lay that under my custom genie widget. You also have to use a launcher that supports widget overlap/resizing. Nova Launcher and Apex Launcher are the big ones.

This Guide isn't geared exactly for "New Users". You must have basic understanding of uccw, minimalistic text etc. I will not be explaining how to use these widgets. You can easily search for tutorials on these (google)
Use TSF Shell launcher as it doesn't have a grid
Lets start with the background
Download and install multiwall live wallpaper - click here
Tutorial on how to use multiwall live wallpaper - click here
Download the zip file i have provided.. It has two wallpapers in it
Set the Wall1 as the main homescreen wallpaper
set the Wall2 on the other screens you have.
Clock Date etc.
For the clock, Use minimalistic text and set the hour font to bold and minutes font to normal
Set Hour to white and minutes to #36ed3f
Make the size to your liking (Can't do that in real life :laugh
Use TSF Shell to position it on the semi-transparent box on the left.
Do the same and make the date, Day, and temp.
Make Date and day capital
Set the date to #36ed3f and month to white
Set the day to #36ed3f
Set the Temp. to white
Position on the right box using TSF Shell
The body
Circle Battery Widget :
Use Circle Battery widget (click here to download) Or use Battery Widget Reborn(click here to download), Which ever you prefer
Set text color to white and clock color to #36ed3f
Position on screen using TSF Shell
Altitude and location
Use minimalistic text and make both of them
Set the feet color to #36ed3f
Position using tsf shell
Weather
Just make a uccw weather icon to what every you like (find guides online on how to do that)
Postition using TSf Shell
The Toggle
Download Power Toggles or widgetsoid (your choice)
Set the color/theme to green
Transparency to 0% - 10% (i prefer 0%)
Icons
Download and use this icon pack (cold fusion HD) - click here
That's It, You're done! :good::good:
Friendly Bump
will try this later and report back, thanks
Be sure to tell me how you like it! :fingers-crossed:
Guys , customize the theme to whatever you like Don't copy exactly (unless you think it's perfect,If you do think its perfect, Thanks  :good: ), make it to suit your needs, as everyone's needs are different. :good:
Anyone tried it out?
Why are you spamming with that useless nothing-so-special guide. Your bumping in every 2 mins make it even worse, man. I don't want some noob 'guides' when i'm looking for exactly what this thread is about - THEMES.

Thanks , I'm glad you like it
Question though.. Is it possible to edit the colour of the bars that the clock n date are on, in UCCW? I can't seem to get it to work correctly... I'm fairly new to UCCW, but my current home screen is all UCCW, so I feel I have a pretty good handle on it
Sent from my Paranoid Nexus⁴
Current home screen.. prolly change the current setup, if I can modify your widget to my liking. It doesn't show in the Skins in UCCW :/

to change the color of the bars to your desire you have to use the ResourcesV2.zip to get the .psd file and edit it in photoshop and save it as a .png and copy it to your sdcard.
If you want it to show up in your list of skins you have to extract the zip folder to get the uzip's out on your sdcard.
once they are on your sdcard: open UCCW > click open > open uzip > and navigate to uzip you want to add to the list. (repeat for any other uzip you want)
Hope this helps.
