Hello everyone! I have a really frustrating problem with android auto. I have a Xiaomi mi note 3 and a Volkswagen Polo with app-connect. I can connect without problems, but after a few minutes it disconnects, always. I tried various cables including the original one, but nothing changes. does anyone have a solution? Is it a problem of Xiaomi or MIUI? could i try other roms?
Thanks in advance

I have the same problem. It's a rom bug... and and there is no solution yet. It is a known problem but never solved.

Thanks for your response. this is very strange probelm, two month before did not appear this problem, but in these current days.
Maybe it is the problem of the system version of Xiaomi note pro, if I can solve this, I will let you know.
Interesting. I just got my Note Pro so didn't get to use the car Bluetooth receiver a lot yet but so far it's been working fine, playing several times for more than an hour without disruption. Maybe it's one of those extensive power-saving settings that are responsible? Or the "Clean Master" that is set to kick in after 30 mins since the screen was turned off by default? I was using Google Maps for navigation while also playing music in the car, so the screen was on all the time, perhaps that would explain why it didn't happen to me?
What's your ROM version, mine works flawless.
Earlier today I was using the car Bluetooth receiver with the phone in my pocket on battery power - no problems whatsoever (5.12.31 Developer ROM). I'd try with another phone first, maybe it's some sort of interference or a problem with the receiver after all?
Is that an aftermarket Bluetooth receiver plugged into the lighter socket? They're not famous for their reliability, and with time it the socket parts themselves can become loose causing intermittent power failures. Or does it always stop working after the same amount of time passes? Maybe you have some battery-saving app or settings that switches it off then.
Hey all!
I'm facing some issues with Mi5 bluetooth I guess. I can pair bluetooth with my car, with a mi speaker, and some other stuff, but I don't know why I cannot pair the Mi Band 2. Yesterday since a MiFit update (2.2.3) and firmware update of the MiBand it doesn't connect anymore. Furthermore, I have tried to connect it in the bluetooth settings and set it as an unlock device, but Android does not find it or cannot connect to the MiBand. I have tried with 6.10.13 and 6.10.20 ( both developer), dirt install, 100% clean install and same result.
Until this point it may seem to be a MiFit/MiBand problem. But unfortunately it's not that easy, I have tried to pair the miband 2 with my Redmi 3 which also has the 6.10.13 (yesterday) and 6.10.20 (today) and it works perfectly the MiBand pairs quickly and with no problems. I don't know if it is a compatibility issue with Android 6, maybe with the release for Mi5 or just my Mi5 has gone crazy.
Any sugestion?
Thanks a lot
I have Mi5 and Mi Band 2, that came out yesterday from Gearbest. I've paired sucessfully with the fake ROM of them. Later on, switched to xiaomi.eu ROM (latest, weekly) and seems ok. Maybe it's due to your Mi Band, I don't think that relates to your ROM. If you do have flashed and wiped all things like you said, it should work.
Try to unpair, sign out from your account and try again to sign in and pair again... try different approaches.
But the problem is that somehow it works perfectly in my Redmi 3 with the same ROM.
Same problem here! With RN3 SD works perfectly...but with mi5 64gb official global ROM I am having connection issues.
Just got a Xiaomi 9T Pro. I'm trying to pair up with my 2016 Chevy Silverado. I turn on bluetooth and refresh. No devices show up. First time I tried My link did come up but could not pair. Any ideas are more than welcome. Thanks
As im using bluetooth devices a lot , some times my bluetooth discovers devices but cant connect so i have to reboot my phone to solve this problem
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my Mi9 together with Android Car.
If I connect my Mi9 via USB-C to the car the GPS signal breaks down and also Google maps goes into offline mode.
I have a VW Passat B9 and my Mi9 is on MIUI 11.0.6 stable (Android 10).
With my second phone Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ the setup is working fine...
Looking forward to some tips or tricks.
Kind regards,
Lucas
On my Poco M3 Pro with Miui 13.03 skeuxm rom bluetooth is frequently disconnected from my Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatch and my (various) earbuds. Have to stop bluetooth on my phone and start it again to connect again. My question is if someone else has the same problems or is this just my phone with this rom ?
Redmi Note 10 5G, MIUI 13.0.5.0(SKSMIXM), having nearly the same issue. While listening to audio on various headsets, bluetooth will randomly disconnect after a few seconds to a couple minutes. It will usually reconnect on its own a few seconds later, but keeps doing this. No idea what's causing it. Did just find a similar reported issue from Xiaomi's official report back in January, but that is for the Xiaomi 12/Pro, so I'm not sure if this is a MIUI-wide issue, or just happens to be on this version as well
