Anyone care to share the mate 20 pro camera apk? Would love to see how it works(if) on P20 PRO.

I tried the camera apk on P20 Pro (android 8) but it's not working... not even installing on my device. If somebody is interested in trying to modify it I can send it.

I've tried to install this apk on my p20 pro (android 9 beta) - the same error. But this is expected result. Both camera applications, native and from Mate 20 Pro have the same namespace and !!! version.
After cloning the app it was installed successfully but again FC. Some libraries are missed on P20 Pro.

I was hoping to get a port from Mate 20 camera just for the front Facing camera HDR Mode

Couldn't we just import the librairies? They could easily be extracted from a mate 20 Pro...

Maybe someone can make this work 100%. It's from Mate 20 Pro,I wanted to install it,it works,but some features disappeared from "More" menu...so I uninstalled it. I believe that the camera app is the same on P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro,only the libs are different,and maybe there is something else that unlocks features or locks them,when it detects the phone model.

I installed it without problems. Everything works correctly but I do not see any difference.
My compilation is 9.0.0.236

I tried to install this on the OneNote 7 pro, and it's the first one that actually opens. But it crashes before I get to take a photo. Is there any way to fix this? I would love to test this on here as I come from the p20 and loved the camera app

Hi, does anyone have a link to this Huawei camera apk? The link above doesnt work. I have an S10 plus and really miss the camera from my old P20 pro, really keen to try this if possible, cheers

Wouldn't the hardware be different thus causing issues?
Or is there some software trickery that could make things work?

Yesterday I did my last attempt, ready to brick my Note 10. I was going crazy with chinesse ROM, and really needed the location history in my phone. Even I placed one order -and paid- one Huawei Mate 20X (that should arrive today and will be returned tomorrow :fingers-crossed
So, I did what you never should do: flash another Huawei model's ROM: The Honor View [ROM][OFFICIAL] Bliss ROMS v11.3 - Berkeley [Pie][12.16.18]
I am still stuned: by now,
all the apps are working
Phone and sms working
No forced-close in any moment
Gapps included working
EVERYthing I've tried works fine: Whatsapp, Acalendar, Bank, Simple Dialer, app dialer, One Drive, Google Drive, HUB Blackberry...
Issues:
I had to install the Nova Launcher
Two widgets don't work: Blackberry HUB's and ACalendar Agenda (the rest ACalendar's are OK).
I didn'k like rom camera app -too simple- and I installed another one.
Please note that I'm not an expert, just a middle-aged man who likes to mess with cell phones. The only thing I dare tell you is that it worked for me. But if someone is so desperate as I was, maybe it's worth a try.
My ROM was the stock one from Letschky Honor Note 10 Rooted Stockrom RVL-AL09 8.2.0.151/RVL-AL09 8.2.0.151.
My actual ROM and guide to flash the ROM) is [ROM][OFFICIAL] Bliss ROMS v11.3 - Berkeley [Pie][12.16.18]

I have no lags with launcher. But I had to install Nova, the rom's one didn't work.

Noticed that as well. I've solved mine by using lawn chair launcher. So far no more home launcher draw delay.

How's the battery consumption rate?

Google Maps history is not location history. The location history is saved online and the Note 10 does not transfer it.

Huawei p30 pro vog-al00 chinese version help

Hi guys,
I recently bought a huawei p30 pro the chinese version vog-al00. Had a bloatware clean today and I tried changing the launcher. Only to find out that the chinese version does not allow that. Any advise on how I can bypass that?
Another issue, if anybody has it: my emails do not come through. I tried most setting changes but nothing. Even tried different email clients. Currently using BlueMail but still getting email late or I have to go and refresh manually.

NO, you can't. On the Chinese version they removed the option to set as default other launcher rather the default one.
Regardless your issues with notifications, i've replied you on your other thread.

Google Play Store/Services Tutorial on Mate 40 Pro/ Mate 40 RS?

Hello all, upon following a video on Youtube submitted by a John Wang, his explanation wasn't 100 percent clear but good enough for me to follow it to get Google play on my Mate 40 RS which should work the same for the Mate 40 Pro/ Pro +/ Mate 40 as they are all based on the same EMUI OS. There are some caveats as in still issues with notifications seeming to be delayed unless the app is open etc, Android Auto does work but can be kind of buggy and of course no Google Pay. If you guys are interested in me making a tutorial for you with the files you'll need please let me know and I'd be more than happy to create one!

I should note too, that I have not had the google play protect error at all, and I am on day 2 of using Google Play on it. So far so good, I can use Youtube/Music/Gmail just fine

But please make clear that this only works for chinese FW version!

A tutorial for this would be great! I tried to follow John Wang's tutorial but when I get to the part where you restore the backup app, it says I already have a newer version of the app installed. I've uninstalled the only version of the app I can find and I'm still getting the error message. Any ideas?
It may help to mention I'm based in the UK.

I was able to use the backup app that came with my phone and it seemed to restore just fine. Odd that what I read from others it only works for Chinese version like I got. Although I would like someone with international to try it.

The notifications of app in dual space work like in standard installation? I mean: gmail with push notifications working in dual space, if i have the phone in standby, when new mail will arrive, i will have a standard push notification from gmail? This is an important question.

For now, only methid that works on m'y Mate 40 Pro international version is vphonegaga, VM, but IT works very nice

So, I have my Mate X2 almost here,
I currently have some GMS working on the XS, if I backup my phone using HiSuite...
will my system apps like the modded play services, etc come over?
or will I have to actually install GMS the long way?
Has anyone tried this?
