Hi all.
Little silly of me but I didn't back up prior to flashing asteroid os and would like to come back ha.
Anyone got any links for stock software?
Thanks in advance
Same issue here. I have a Hiawei watch classic, i wanto to back to wear os, anyone can help us? Please. I need wear os
Looking into flashing mine, too, this is what I found:
Download LG Watch Urbane (W150) Firmware v.LJZ13E (5.1.1). LG Watch Urbane
LG Watch Urbane (W150) smartwatch Firmware v.LJZ13E (Android Wear 5.1.1). LG Watch Urbane
x-drivers.com
Been in same situation....
I managed to go back to stock, by doing this:
Go to here, and download boot, system and recovery images (N-boot.img, N-recovery.img, N-system.img
Put watch on cradle, and boot in fastboot mode (during boot, swipe from top left to bottom right corner)
Assuming you have all drivers installed, type following commands in cmd or terminal :
fasboot flash boot N-boot.img
fastboot flash system N-system.img
fastboot flash recovery N-recovery.img
fastboot reboot
First boot take a while...
later, if you want to lock bootloader, type in fastboot
"fastboot oem lock" (this will erase all user data)

Returning to stock [fastboot doesn't work, looks like I have odin]
I've bought modded Gear Live with custom ROM. I wan't return to stock Android Wear but it looks like fastboot doesn't work or I don't know how to do this. If I choose fastboot during boot I can enter Odin download mode. It looks like somebody flashed ROM from Android device to this watch.
My watch is visible under adb but when i put it in download mode fastboot doesn't recognize my device. What's the procedure of returning from Odin to stock Android Wear?

Youre talking about three different tools here. Either you have fastboot or odin mode. What OS are you using? What modes do you have available? What do you see on your screen?
When I swipe the screen diagonal when holding the power button I see:
Select REBOOT MODE:
Continue, Download, Upload, Recovery, PowerOff, Fastboot
No matter if I choose download or fastbook it enters in ODIN MODE like on a phone with Android OS. The model is SM-R382.
Any chance to restore to stock Android Wear? As I mentioned 'fastboot devices' shows nothing when the device is in download mode.
lsusb returns:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 04e8:685d Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd GT-I9100 Phone [Galaxy S II] (Download mode)
Any chance flashing this to stock Android Wear?

Any chance flashing this to stock Android Wear?
Flashed this to fix a number of screwups. Now I'm trying to do delta OTA updates to get to 5.0.1.
This system.img installed KMV78X, so I tried to flash sprat-KGW42N-from-KMV78X first.
The sha1sum for "/system/lib/libstagefright.so" seems to be wrong. The update script expects 85998faea63db14c87c02c128d7e4fe39da0202f, on this image it is 624e6eb8000d6c1c0ff53998fb54d1e008deb41e.
EDIT: sprat-KMV78Y-from-KMV78X seems to expect 85998faea63db14c87c02c128d7e4fe39da0202f as well.
EDIT2: I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. Every time I "fastboot flash system system.img", I get a different hash for libstagefright.so (other files stay the same). I removed the patching for that file from the OTA updates and I was able to get to LWX48P, but now I need the updated libstagefright.so. Ostensibly, this version has SHA1 hash 9279477d8f47f6e042ab1e88a82d79cd7ac5ed20 (according to sprat-LWX48P-from-KNX01Q.fc0bcfbe.zip)
EDIT3: Solved. Installed stock KMV78Y from http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-live/development/rom-octamodwear-stock-root-busybox-t2834620, then did OTA delta updates to get to 5.0.1.
Bricked Gear Live
Hi All,
I am making a huge education effort to learn the way of developing in my mid 30's. I recently bought a refurbished Gear Live "the Best Buy mess". I was able to reflash the stock onto the watch but it would not update it's firmware; so easy enough I thought I would push the latest version which leads me to the current state of the watch which is "could not do normal boot" I can teach the fastboot screen but cannot authorize the ADB now that I cannot approve the change or even change it through the developer tools. I downloaded Odin but I am not able to connect to the watch to push the flash. Has anyone run into this? I have downloaded the Gear Live reset tool but without ADB authorized it won't allow access. Can anyone help an up and tech savvy learner find his way to bringing it back? I use the watch to monitor my sons Blood Sugar since he's a type 1 diabetic.
Help?
Update, I was able to fastboot the original img files and I'm back to where I started. Now to get it up to 5.0.1

Hi there, I have been doing very well in playing with the boot system and recovery partitions on my LG R watch.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch-r/help/failed-remote-dtb-t3041661
Then out of nowhere after trying gohma-gwatch-2.3 I now have no touch on my watch, so I thought this is ok, I will just copy over boot system and recovery again with the ones I knew that worked. BUT, now I have NO touch on my watch, the button on my watch only resets the device back to bootloader.
Any thoughts?
What am I missing? Should I wipe the partitions before putting the new ones over? Does it just copy over files it needs when I
fastboot flash system intersectRaven_GWR_5.0.2_stock_system.img
fastboot flast boot intersectRaven_GWR_5.0.2_stock_boot.img
fastboot recovery intersectRaven_GWR_5.0.2_stock_recovery.img
[UPDATE]
Contacted LG and they think its the screen, sending away for refund and brought a new one.
Should be here tomorrow.
SYSTEM ALSO STOPPED BEING DETECTED AS FASTBOOT AND DEVICE
REINSTALLED ADB TO SEE IF IT WAS DRIVERS BUT ENTIRE WATCH LOCKED UP, DO AND DON'T LIKE THIS NEW WATCH.
Hello,
I tried to install the new andoird wear 5.1.1 from this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch-r/general/install-android-wear-5-1-1-to-lg-g-t3114528
and after step 4 i close the "fastboot flash system system_gwr_5.1.1.img" before the install is done (i wait an hour and nothing append).
And now i stuck on the LG logo.
I tried to install again by the guide, but i cant use fastboot, it's write "wating for device".
What to do?
Thanks!
Edit: now the watch reach to the Android system but I have problem with the touch screen that not response. And because of that I can reach to the bootloader and the recovery mode...
Try to hardreset the watch. When you start your watch up and see the LG logo wipe fron 11 to 4 accros the screen.

No. You also have this problem?
There is a lot of people with this problem in this forum...
Someone know a place that specializes in android wear watches? (please send me, no one knows how to solve this problem here )
try the adb command "adb devices" and "fastboot devices"
I don't think the first one would work (because you are in fastboot mode), but the second should tell if the pc "sees" the watch!
I had to manually install the "android adb composite" device driver in the win device manager...

The computer does not recognize the watch at all...
same here
well, same here: no touch screen, device is not recognized (but boots up to welcome screen) => not able to get into bootloader. Guess, I have to activate developer/debugging mode in the Wear-settings to get it recognized. But how, without touch? Any ideas?
So do you think there is hope for unbricking the watch R from that state ? (mine is the same)
Maybe LGFlashtool will work ? maybe TOT firmware file will be available ?
I am having the same issue after trying to install the stock rom, probably a wrong rom. The watch boots onto a lg logo, stays for a minute or so and reboots into a a boot loop. There is no way to access bootloader or fastboot. Swipe to enter bootloader does not work, tried hundred times, it is like the screen were unresponsive. I have no idea what to do, seems it is bricked.
If I keep pressed the physical button then reboots but lg logo again after a long vibration. Drained the battery, put it on the cradle and then boots onto the lg logo.
anyone?
anyone here has found a solution for this issue?
I am also in the same situation. LG logo stuck after installing a new rom, unresponsive screen no mather if connected to the charger or not. Tried with different computers and OSses, the watch is not recognised.
had this problem as wrong I used the wrong kernel, but I managed to make it work again. this is what you have to do is boot it to bootloader mode, then go to recovery mode and use the "apply update from adb" function (sideload in other words) to install the Android 6.0.1 again.
Link to download Android 6.0.1.
To put the watch in bootloader mode, follow the instruction in my youtube video here.
As soon as it is in bootloader mode, your computer should see the watch as an android device now.
In Bootloader mode, go to recovery mode (use the virtual buttons on screen), then go to the "apply update from adb" option.
Now, at this step, you need to open command line on your computer and type "adb sideload <android file>", where the <android file> is the one you download earlier. You can just type "adb sildeload" then leave a space and drag the file to the running Cmd window.
Now just wait for it to complete and restart itself.
Hope this help.

I did. The screen does no respond to touch so 11 to 4 does not work either. I hace tried hundred times and even tapping with 2 fingers which I have seen working in any other vĂdeo around
same over here.
And this happened without tryng to hack anything (for once in my life)
any update?
I am new to the forums and I need your help. The display on my LGWR went black after update even on cradle. It cannot even connect to my mobile via BT. The only thing it does is vibrate when the button is pushed and the heart sensor blinks a single time (when it turns on I guess.) as the vibration is a small one. When connected to PC running Windows 7, it is detected as Android Bootloader Interface, but ADB does not show any attached devices. Fastboot does show some alphanumerical device when (fastboot devices command is run). I have disassembled to remove the battery and tried to run it without the battery on cradle to no avail. Your help is needed as to what to do.
So it seems to hang in fastboot mode?
Try some fastboot commands then:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
fastboot reboot
Dear Ranf.
Many thanks for your reply. I ran fastboot getvar all and this is what I got. Screenshot is attached. Please guide me further.
Thanks.
Looks like you already downloaded the firmware? Right?
If so start with wiping cache and userdata:
Code:
fastboot format cache
fastboot format userdata
fastboot reboot
I have downloaded the M1D63X boot, recovery and system (Disc Image Files) saved in my PC. They are not present in the SD card of LGWR. Shall I execute the commands or can I use fastboot and install this M1D63X on the LGWR. Thanks for your support.
The 2 format commands are basically the same as a factory reset. Please try them and then reboot.
Where did you download the file (URL please)?
Boot and recovery usually aren't trouble makers. system.img will if it's not a sparse image file.
The download like is as under Ranf:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-watch-r/development/fastboot-zip-factory-images-t3405311
Dear Ranf,
I tried to run Fastboot flash cache, and this is what the result was. Please guide.
Oh I see: you first need to unlock the bootloader with:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
How can I dod that, as the screen is blank on the watch. I have tried it, fastboot says OKAY on my PC screen, but the watch does not reboot on its own and I have to manually restart it to get recognized in PC at Android ABD Interface. What can I do.
After running "fastboot oem unlock" you somehow need to acknowledge your decision (I'm a Sony SW3 user)
Either swipe the screen from tp left to bottom right or
press the power button.
Do you see anything on the watch screen when in fastboot mode?
Dear Ranf,
I finally able to unlock bootloader and formatted cache and userdata and then rebooted it, but the problem still exists i.e. black screen and only vibration.
Is there any way I can install stock Rom via fastboot and if so please guide me how and from which url should I download the files.
Thanks.
Screenshot of the fastboot format cache and userdata is attached for your perusal.
At 1st look the download you have is fine.
You need to flash 3 partitions:
Code:
fastboot flash boot M1D63X_boot.img
fastboot flash recovery M1D63X_recovery.img
fastboot flash system M1D63X_system.img
When you see errors at any of these steps post them here.
Thankfully all things well without any errors, but the watch is still the same, no display whatsoever. I am really devastated now. If there is anything else that can be done, please guide.
Screenshot of the processes is attached.
Sorry I must admit I'm a bit lost now. Best you ask @vt0r in the thread where you got the firmware from.
Thanks a lot Ranf. God Bless You.
You have done all steps that you can do, probably your display is broken...
I'm sorry...
When your watch starts, you see the lg logo?
Is there a way to check if the display is broken as when I disassembled the watch everything looked fine with no signs of wear or moisture. The battery also is not holding charge as when you put the watch on cradle it vibrates but off of it, vibration stops. How can I charge the battery manually.
Hey,
my watch had exactly the same problem.
I had to repair it. They had to replace the mainboard.
Luckily the warranty paid for this.
Lucas
Lucky for you that you had warranty left. For me there are two problems. First no warranty left and secondly replacement parts are not available here in Pakistan, so if there is any online store from I can manage the parts, do let me know Lucas.
So this watch was of my dad. One day it went into bootloop ....rebooting and stuck on lg logo. So first i unlocked its bootloader using fastboot commands. Then i tried to flash various roms,recoveries..but no luck. Basically only fastboot mode can be accessed..
When i try to go in recovery it just shows a black screen and reboots...so no adb
Any way i can revive it...?
Same problem here...
Use Fastboot to reflash all three image files. You may need a new battery first that is what caused my watch to start boot looping.
